After the temp, for the fifth day in a row, exceeded 95 before 10AM, a frozen hot chocolate was the only thing that could satiate me alongside my pork roll, egg, and cheese bagel! The chocolaty goodness, the cold ice crystals, the sweetness of the drink and the whipped cream. Yes, that made life bearable for a bit. While there a staff member realized the lights were off and turned them, and then realized it was making it warmed and quickly turned them off. Smart move! Cute little building with some seats at a counter around the sides (and a few outside, though nobody was biting on those that day). Staff were awesome despite the heat and the amount of customers pouring in.

They had a special matcha for a limited time called the Applejacks matcha, so I ordered that. I had them take off the white chocolate and do oat milk because I'm vegan. I absolutely loved it. It was so delicious and flavorful, and it was the best flavored matcha I had had in a long time. I do love regular, traditional matcha with no flavoring, so I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about a flavored matcha that was so good. After a couple of weeks, I went to the Manalapan location and had the same matcha. While it was not as good as the Brick one, I didn't really hold that against them. Then a couple of weeks later, I went back to the Brick location and they told me they didn't have matcha because they ran out. They said their customers who really love matcha were not happy about it either, and that they didn't know when they were going to get it back in. That's why I took away one star. They are a business and should make an effort to always have matcha available. Matcha not being available one day is one thing, but not having it and not knowing when it's coming back is another thing. I just don't think that's acceptable. Besides that, this place is really good. Their drinks seem really creative. I've mostly only had the matcha because I love matcha. It also seems like a really nice place to sit and study, and it always seems clean. The day they didn't have the matcha, I got a chai tea instead and it wasn't that great, so I know not to get the chai again.
