Was really excited about this one. Took the trip on a rainy day. There were a few people inside. Ordered two iced specialty lattes and the total was over $23. I know non-dairy milk is more expensive, but we go to a different coffee shop each weekend and we've never paid that much. Upon tasting our two different drinks, I don't know what the flavor was if it was the milk or the sauces that they use, but we just really did not like it and couldn't drink them. I've also never been to a coffee shop that doesn't have a bathroom open to the public. This was unfortunately a miss for us. read more

We've tried their coffee and beans at a market before but had never been to their storefront. They seem to be quite busy, the entire time we spent there. We ordered an iced americano, an iced latte with oat milk, a leek and parmesean bistro and a broccoli and cheddar baked empanada, for $20z Due to our empanada, our order took awhile to come our. The leek bistro was creamy and the empanada had a lot of broccoli. Unfortunately, our empanada was still cold in the center. The americano was a tad bitter and the oat milk latte was unexpectedly sweet. read more

They are quite busy because their coffee is phenomenal. You're at the beach - what's the hurry? I haven't had their coffee since 2023, and still remember it as the best espressos, lattes and cappuccinos we've had this side of Italy. They are ten stars. I think those who want an "adequately executed experience" should try Taster's Choice or Folger's Flakes for an instantly executed cup of experience. These are good people trying to run a business and should be supported because they produce an excellent product at a reasonable price. Slow service, both in store and for online orders. I ordered online and did not have my order after my confirmed pick up time, I heard an employee tell a customer just walking in with an online order that theirs would be prioritized. After inquiring about my order I was rudely told that it was only 1 minute past my pickup time and I would need to wait...the point of online ordering is to streamline the customer and establishment experience. Perhaps you should not operate an online ordering presence if you can not adequately execute the experience. I do not recommend. read more

If I could rate this place even higher, I would!! This is the best coffee around. It has a great location right near the beach. The owners are truly kind people and know how to make great coffee. I've been coming here since they opened and every year it gets better! My mom loves to order an Americano, and my grandma (who is a regular!) usually orders a pour over. Personally, I think the unique signature drinks are delicious :) Their matcha is also high quality! The empanadas are really tasty and they have plenty of delicious pastries to choose from. I visited Point Pleasant from out of town and was very impressed with Port Coffee Roasters. The service was very efficient on a Sunday morning when I visited, the staff was friendly and helpful.
