We have two King Charles Cavaliers that despise water and grooming even more, and we had trouble keeping them white instead of dingy grey (or yellow in certain areas). Valerie is a lovely! I've used French Touch twice now and Valerie is very professional and does an excellent job grooming my large Great Dane/poodle. There was a bit of a mix up with the understanding of her size so I'm paying more than I was originally quoted, however I do feel the price is fair. Valerie is usually a few minutes early and my dog goes very happily to her van. Using mobile grooming is so much easier than driving to a store. Valerie sends a receipt at the end of the day and even puts a nice French scarf on my dog Ivy at the end of each grooming session. read more

I am so glad I found the loveliest Valerie and her company - quite randomly actually by walking to work in WeHo. I knocked on the door of her van and she was really welcoming, very sweet and professional. She drives this beautiful big van and parks outside and grooms the dogs right there. I have two long hair chihuahuas who unfortunately had some really awful haircuts in the past. My 100lb German Shepherd had his first grooming with Valerie today, he's so happy (and fluffy) he seems doggy drunk. She was on time, her mobile van is cute and clean, her equipment was tidy and up-to-date, and she emailed me a nice thank you and an invoice afterward for my records. I walked my dog outside, handed him to her, an hour later she texted me that he was ready and I walked out and got him. So easy! The pricing is super fair especially for a mobile service, sometimes they can charge more because of the convenience of coming to your own home, but that wasn't the case. She charged me about the same as I've paid at other boutique style places on Melrose. Plus your dog will strut out with a Paris themed bandana, it's funny. Valerie came to give my dog a bath today. I've never used a mobile groomer before, but must admit the convenience is well worth it when you have a busy schedule. I was a little nervous just because Libby is terrible with strangers, and you hear horror stories. Valerie took the time to clean her patiently and with love. I was not going to write a review, but this was such an awful experience I feel I need to speak the truth as to what happened so other Pet Parents do not experience what I did. A neighbor referred her to me so I thought I could trust this groomer. The neighbor told me she paid a good price, when I called Valerie she quoted me much higher, I told her the neighbor told me she was paying a different price, she said ok I will honor the price. She then after we hung up, texted me saying she was honoring the price but was uncomfortable, then I got a voice message with the same thing. I should of right away canceled but I did not. I had Valerie here the other day to groom my Furbaby. I asked her to come inside first since this was the first time, I always have the mobile groomers come in and play with Zoey a bit before they groom her, I never experienced this before but my sweet girl was shaking so bad I should have listened to her reaction but unfortunately, I did not. I went into the van and it was dirty, I asked her a few times if she cleaned in between grooms and she said that fur flies around while she drives. That does not make sense if she really cleans well. I have a Maltipoo and her hair was tangled a bit but not that bad for her to cut it all down so much that she had to cut my baby multiple times, see the attached photos. And the cut is all uneven. I asked her to call me when she was done and I would go get Zoey as I wanted to get her directly from the van, she did call but brought her to me which was not what I had asked, I also asked her not to cut her tail and she did. When I got Zoey, I noticed cuts on her feet, today I noticed a big cut on her belly. Valerie asked for my card, I gave it to her but I started to notice how awful of a job she did, and I am like this is not right for you to charge me. She began to yell at me and said fine, I do not need your money. She then went next door and was yelling at a neighbor about me. Crazy experience. That same day, I get a rude voice mail from her Husband demanding I pay. Then at 9 pm, he begins to text me demanding I pay. I told them I was not writing a review but after finding more cuts on my baby I feel I must spare others this awful experience. I did tell Valerie and her Husband that if my dog ends up needing to go to the vet from the cuts they will absolutely have to pay. I tried to attach photos to this review but yelp will not let me. Not only is this van the Rolls Royce of pet grooming as far as style, comfort and Valerie's own design, it is also very secure and both animal and owner friendly. My German Shepherd and Golden Lab mix, BOO, got a fabulous treatment of Shampoo and Manicure. Although, BOO is not an easy client, Valerie knew how to calm her down and make her feel at ease. I was nervous at first (and so was my puppy, Archie) but she was so good and gentle with him that by the time he was finished he didn't even want to leave her van.
