    Amazing ! Best sandwich ever

Ok where do I start , I came here on a whim after driving by this place a few times this week . I saw the grand opening sign and pulled up . Then I checked the reviews and saw that no one had reviewed this place in a while . I take my reviews seriously and hope you enjoy this one . The chef / owner - James is extremely friendly. He's Italian and Canadian , and cares deeply about his passion for cooking . He and I spoke for a while and shared our passion for food together. The waitress was super sweet as well , Sandra . She sat me at the bar and immediately asked when I ordered , "why plain ? I don't think it's going to be good .."she said , So I thought to be authentic to this review I should order it just the way it comes . And I did , "A Montreal sub the way it comes please ! " Sandra turned away with a told you so look in her eyes .... A few minutes later ....James came out with this beautiful sandwich.....I grabbed it and immediately noticed that the bread was toasted and it's crust was on point . Getting into it the flavors of the peppers and tomatoes with the soft bed of lettuce blended perfectly with the steak and pepperoni . What made me levitate off my chair was this vinegar like tomato sauce.. I died Lord , this was truly an amazing meal . I went freaking nuts . This was the best sub I ever ate . Perfectly toasted - amazing flavors. I really love it and can't wait to make time for coming here again . The ambiance is a nice open space with window views on both sides . The bar is very comfortable as well with no bad smells from the well like some bars . Clean throughout . Nice music too. Look forward to hearing the live bands one night . This place is truly a Gem , I would definitely not let the Canadian influences miss your chance to experience the Montreal Sub , the people are very sweet just give them a shot . I spoke after with James the owner , he stated that you must love what you do , and I can actually taste that in his sandwich. You should try it too ! Update *** spoke with James he will be closing the restaurant down ending in August for about a month or 2 , to make room for a larger kitchen as he's going to be open year round ! So please if you missed , be patient. It's worth the wait .

I think that this place is delicious!

I think that this place is delicious. I had the seafood pasta. Wish it had more seafood for the price but a good plate to share. The fries are real good- the salad as well

The owner has been arguing with customers, and it made it very uncomfortable, especially when I went to go pick up my order because once it was my turn, there was no customer service to be given. Just awkward silence. I was so uncomfortable I left not realizing I got one out of my two bags. I didn't even return. Wasn't worth tuning back to then become one of the victims to be yelled at. My partner loves this place so I keep coming back, but after the last three encounters with the same situation, it's not worth the drive from Fort Lauderdale all the way to Aventura. I'd rather find a small bakery nearby. It's unfortunate. The place has amazing food but I think everyone is stressed these days but when you own a place you have to keep your composure as your customers are your lifeline for your business to stay afloat. I don't think this review will make or break this bakery. They've obviously been here for a while, but definitely needs some refining when it comes to how you treat your customers. Thankfully, I was not on her bad side those few times I came in for my order, but it was just so awkward to stand behind these people as they argue with servers and or the owner. Multiple times this has happened on different occasions. That's my experience I hope others have better ones

The pastries were wet and not fully baked, (both times!) and the food had no flavor. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.. Based on the condition and appearance of the food, something is clearly not right. This place shouldn't be operating.

Very friendly server, I believe his name is David from Moldova and the food was very good. We had the herring and potatoes, Caspian salad, and the veal liver shish kebabs (if you know, you know). The decor was absolutely amazing. Comfortable seats and clean silverware, I pay very close attention to that. The only thing I would say is that the Singer lacked energy, she just didn't entice or influence anyone in any way to go and dance- shame. There is a singer that used to work at the pulse restaurant in Aventura that close down, he would like this place up. Half the restaurant was full.

Mnogo Vkuzno! Very Delicious!…read more The fact that I was allowed to eat indoors instead of on their outside patio although I was wearing shorts and beachwear, and still received excellent service from Anastasia secures the 5th star. I was in the shopping plaza at its neighbor the pharmacy to pick up last minute beach stuff when I saw Art Priori. With the name, I thought it was an art gallery but noticed the menu outside. Anastasia welcomed me and I sat at a very comfy banquette room while listening to chill downtempo edm to enjoy my lunch. Although it wasn't listed on the menu, I started with a refreshing glass of moscato. Its light sweetness was perfect to set the vibe for a beach afternoon. My appetizer was a serving of "Dates a Cheval". Art Priori amps up the classic bacon wrapped dates with a generous serving of goat cheese. The tanginess of this cheese is a delicious balance of the date's sweetness. Although it was a beach day, I was feeling fancy and not just looking for a burger (which they do have on the menu). Instead I enjoyed their Pozharsky cutlet. Served on a bed of mashed potatoes and chopped mix veggies, this is ground chicken breaded in cracker crust and flavored in a mushroom sauce. I enjoyed the original presentation and flavor. Topped with fresh berries and a light drizzle of honey, a yummy medovik (honey layer cake) closed off my very tasty lunch. This Eastern European classic is a must have!
