I've been in Rexburg for a week and have eaten at Fresco's four times. The first time I had the Fresco burger, it was good. The second time I had the salmon, it was over cooked for my liking. The third visit I had the chicken bacon ranch pizza, this was very good. The last time ate there I had the guacamole burger, this was fantastic. I was always treated well by everyone and the restaurant was very clean. I would give it a 5 but I am a firm believer there is room to grow and learn. read more

We came here because the family wanted to try something that wasn't a "chain" restaurant when visiting the "burg". I tried to warn them but nobody wanted to listen, not that I've been here before, but I had a gut feeling. And my gut was right, was disappointed. We were a party of about 8, nobody was blown away, food was really average. A lot of people tried the pizzas, I tried the Hawaiian with jalapeños which I was excited for, and was extremely disappointed. But then again I'm used to getting great to excellent pizza. I don't know quite where to begin on this one. We were staying at a nearby hotel and they suggested this restaurant for dining. The server gal was nice but never brought and dressing for the salad that came with our meal. They gave some in our group regular salads but left the others in the group with 1/3 size salads and said they were out of lettuce. All of the Alfredo meals had no sauce with the noodles leaving them dry.The chicken Alfredo came out saltier than the ocean. The fries for the fish and chips were cold and gross. This fish was medium warm at best. We ordered two shrimp Alfredo meals and one was brought out and after all the rest of the food came out they informed us that there were no more shrimp for the other pasta and gave that person a very sad looking plate of Alfredo noodles. Waitress was nice but kitchen seemed to not care about food presentation. They gave us full credit on the no shrimp meal but not the salty, salty chicken Alfredo (none of it was eaten).I probably could have made better noodles in the hotel coffee pot. Friendly staff but that was about it. We dined here twice because it was conveniently located next to our hotel. The first night my sister and I split a salad and a pizza. The salad was ok nothing our of the ordinary and the pizza a bit on the salty side. The following day (Sunday) we got back to our hotel famished and everything was pretty much closed so we had dinner here with the rest of the family. Our lemonades were extremely sweet, my steak was overly seasoned and over cooked, my sisters fish was uncooked, my moms steak was chewy and the only person who had a decent meal was my brother who ordered a Hawaiian pizza. Our waitress was very nice so we tipped her 25%, but on the way out we saw her grabbing food that the cooks had ready with her bare hand and placing it on other dishes. GROSS! read more

Service was a bit on the sluggish side but can't complain too much. Climate control seems to be a challenge here. It was quite warm in the building. I'm not sure the AC was turned down all the way. Side salad came with tomato, peas, corn, and croutons, gets a 4.5 as far as sids salads go. Asked for the chicken Alfredo with half Alfredo half marinara. I imagined one side essentially spaghetti and one side Alfredo. Instead they mixed the sauces, and a pink pasty looking sauce came on my pasta. This place is just incredible! It's a shame it's only in tiny Idaho Falls. My brother lives there and I'm from salt lake and whenever I come visit we HAVE to come here. Easily one of the best places to go out to eat in Rexburg, Idaho. I ordered there Buffalo pizza and the crust is top tier. They're French fries were also cooked to perfection topped with the most balanced seasoning. Our fries were gobbled up so fast! My sister ordered the Chicken Alfredo. Probably could have used a bit more sauce but other than that it's hard to go wrong with Chicken Alfredo. My other sister ordered the guacamole burger and it was great! We went here on a recommendation and liked it a lot. I am not usually a fan of ordering pizza at a sit-down restaurant unless they have fun, unique pizzas and this place definitely fits the bill. I got the Idaho Russet pizza and my wife got the Fig Tree pizza. My daughter got some pasta. The food was all very good and there is more on the menu we want to explore, but our favorite part was the bottomless homemade lemonades. This place is kind of overpriced for what you get. I even paid extra to substitute sweet potato fries instead of regular. For my added cost, I received a minimal amount of tiny broken pieces of sweet potato fries, like what you'd find at the bottom of a bag of frozen fries. The entire amount I received could fit in a single layer in the palm of my hand. Idaho's hidden gem! I don't know how many times we've driven past here and never knew this existed. So nice to have amazing fresh, tasty food that isn't diner style to stop at. Located by the few Rexburg Hotels, it's popular with families. Inside there is a modern, clean feel. Their breakfast is the most popular item. $5 for unlimited pancakes! Lunch is also yummy, their salads are all that I've had. They also provide speciality lemonades! Mix and match with free refills. In my experience, the services are not exactly the fastest, so be prepared to sit for a bit. MAKE SURE TO LOOK UP THEIR TIMES! Breakfast ends quickly, or they are closed/serving at unusual times. My biggest observations are; 1. Overall a clean feeling. 2. The food isn't AMAZING but it's filling. The lemonade is my fav part. 7/10 2.
