I needed a very large blanket cut by 18" on one side and hemmed. The alteration was done perfectly. The blanket was cleaned, folded, and put in a zippered, carry bag when the job was done. I've been coming here for years and never have I been charged dry cleaning for all my shirts as a default.. Make sure that when you drop off stuff that you say just laundry I'd hate to see you guys getting three times what the normal charges for laundry shirts I had mentioned this to the operator when I came in to pick up the shirts and thought she would've compensated me or charge me less but no such thing occurred- that was very disappointing read more

I looked at the reviews and was slightly worried, but I know that the people most motivated to review are pissed off people so I figured it would probably be ok. I went in right when they opened at 7am, the guy behind the counter was already working and he was extremely nice. The price for alterations to my suit pants was cheap, and they were quoted to be done in 2.5 days (Monday morning to Wednesday evening turnaround). They did the job on time and even dry cleaned and pressed my pants for no additional charge, without being asked. The ladies there at pickup were also very nice, and immediately helped me when I arrived even though they were holding a big pile of clothes. She looked at my ticket, clicked a button, handed me my pants, the whole thing took 30 seconds. I am sure if I become a regular customer, they will eventually mess something up, but hey if their percentage of mess-ups is low and they remain as friendly as they were it's a win overall and everyone lives another day. read more

What I like about Fresh Cleaners is that they do all of their cleaning onsite. It gives me a peace of mind knowing my clothes aren't being sent out elsewhere to be cleaned and it shows with the quality results. AVOID. It seems this place is under new ownership or management. They tried to charge me $39 for a two-piece dress. They tried to say it was a dress and a jacket but trust me, this was a two piece dress. Then they revised it and said it was $20.45. But the guy couldn't void out the incorrect charge so he got the gal to come up who then rang up a third price of $23.95. When I said I wouldn't be back her response was "okay." I'm a business owner myself. The last thing I would say to a customer who has been frequenting my business for 12 years and says she is leaving would be "okay." Some basic business courses would be in order here. I used to have tailoring done here as well. But if you're looking for great tailoring, the tailor up on Francisco is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Friendly, too. Customers beware!! I took a special one of kind item and asked **3** times that they DRY CLEAN the item because it was so expensive. So they charged me $28 for dry cleaning and then WASHED and RUINED it. They strung me along for 2 weeks, and ultimately refused to take responsibility for replacing the item. We've all been there. Your child needs something for school...tomorrow! This time - my fault. She needed something I had taken to the cleaners and it wasn't scheduled for pick up until tomorrow. So we headed to Fresh Cleaners at 6:30 pm to see if we could pick it up early. It wasn't ready yet, so we left empty handed. After picking up my clothes from the cleaners I realized I was given the wrong blouse. I took the blouse back and explained the blouse I was given wasn't mine they argued that they had stapled my name to it so it had to belong to me. After 10mins of trying to get them to acknowledge they had given me the wrong blouse, the response was that the blouse cost 300.00 so it probably didn't belong to me. Trying to insult your costumers to avoid acknowledging an error is outrages. I will never go back there and you should'e either. read more
