7/21/2021: I'm a returning customer for Fresh Cleaners; this time, I commissioned repairing the dress' zipper because it wouldn't zip up or down correctly. Plus, I had my 100% Silk Dress I purchased in Lahaina, Maui from Karina's Boutique dry cleaned due to sitting down at an upscale restaurant in Maui but, the Restaurant's dining chair was ladened with food residual WHICH I sat on the residual food left on the chair! Seriously, I was livid sitting down on the residual food which left several food stains on the back of my 100% Silk Dress! Thus, I had Fresh Cleaners remove the residual food stains and best of all, there are no tell-tale signs of food grease; I'm so relieved, indeed! 5/2018: Fresh Cleaners removed a plethora of nasty stain from my pink Korean Mink Blanket; I had it dry cleaned which btw~I'll never allow filthy Peeps staying at my house who never care how expensive the Korean Mink Blanket costs! Lisa is amazing! I asked her if she could repair my husband's 20 yr old life jacket that got ripped. We told her it doesn't have to be pretty, just well reinforced. She managed to do both. I didn't even get a chance to receive service from them before they ruined my dress. I went in to get my bridesmaid dress steam pressed for a wedding coming up. The woman took it out of the plastic to exam the fabric. She grabbed it to place on the counter when the dress snagged on a screw sticking out of the counter. She then grabbed the fabric and tried spreading it out to get rid of the snag but then left grease stains from her greasy fingers (from the food she had just been eating) on my dress. I wasn't even in there for 5 minutes and now my dress is completely ruined. It's impossible to remove grease stains out of chiffon so you can imagine how upset I am over this. I just wanted the wrinkles out and now have a damaged dress!!!! I will never go back and honestly don't know if I have any trust in cleaners at this point. read more

I came in panicked on a Saturday needed moderate alterations for a ceremony on Monday... and they are closed Sundays. I was very happy with my experience here. I'll be honest, it was pricey - I had 7 items altered and it was $153, which I was not expecting. That being said, the women in the shop were both very sweet and friendly. I observed them interacting with other customers and it seemed like they remembered stories and previous interactions with their returning customers and that is something that I really appreciate. My clothes were altered in about a week, which was hardly any time to wait. I will absolutely be going back and recommending Fresh Cleaners to anyone else I meet. read more

I love the lady who owns/works here. She is always pleasant even when her sewing is interrupted by a customer. If you are a regular customer there, they give you a blue bag with your address on it. So you just sling the bag on the counter, she sorts the things, gives you a receipt with the amount due on it. My clothes always come out perfect. She will even mend things for you that you might not have known were torn, for FREE. I have two small boys and when I pick my stuff up she brings the stuff out to the car for me. I always feel bad about it, but she is so super nice. This is like an old time service dry cleaner with a modern, no chemical clean. My favorite of all time. read more

I took a suit in that was marked as cold wash only. It had a large stain that I needed help getting out. They got the stain out but shrunk the jacket and skirt so that they were no longer wearable. The hem popped on the skirt and the lining of the jacket is now so much bigger than the outside that it puckers at the bottom. I brought them back in with the new (exact same) suit I needed to buy to replace them to show what had happened. They didn't even offer to return the price of the cleaning. Didn't even get to make it through the door to have a bad experience. Calling for a quote was bad enough. She never once understood what I was asking for when I clearly said these almost exact words..."I have a pair of leggings (faux leahter) 92%poly and 8%spandex and said that I wanted to get a quote and get an idea of the cost and also check if you offer odor treatment" because unfortunately my cat got ahold of them. The tag says dry clean only and that's the only reason I called. I have never had any clothes dry cleaned so this is very new to me. First, I had to ask who I called because I didn't understand when she answered. She was mumbling or something. Then she was just rude from the beginning and never could explain it in a way that she would understand so I went onto the next place also a nightmare. Customer service up here is terrible! I don't understand just because its a smaller town that they can get away with treating people so nasty. It amazes me that people support businesses with these attitudes. read more

My husband took his $300 leather jacket in to have some patches sewn on. At first she quoted him $30, then she asked a man from the back room and he said it would have to be done by hand so $90. Then my husband said, "It went from $30 to $90?" and she then said, "No, I said $60." and my husband said no you said $30. She then wanted him to prepay for the work, my husband said no that he wanted to see the finished product first to ensure that everything had been placed properly. He left his jacket with them and picked it up today. When he got there, they told him $90 and then it was $95. When my husband inspected the jacket, the work was done on a machine and it was VERY shoddy. He then reminded her that they said this had to be done by hand and not on a machine, but since it was done on the machine it shouldn't cost $95. And her reply was it was very hard on the machine and my husband said you didn't do this by hand. She kept repeating how hard it was to do on the machine. My husband said it still should not cost this much because it was NOT done by hand. She just kept repeating herself over and over. The corners are curled and some seams are left open to catch on things. The woman kept trying to hide the work from my husband by putting the plastic back over the jacket. Look for alternative places to have your work done. They lie and then when caught they continue to lie. It was an extremely expensive lesson to learn. Beware, BeWare, BEWARE! read more

This place is WONDERFUL!! They are so friendly, helpful and COMPETENT!!! I do not live local, but am a frequent visitor. One of my shirts had a seam unravel and not only did they do the job quickly, they did it well AND the cost was low! Yes, that's right: friendly, competent, and inexpensive!!! When I mentioned my experience to my family that lives locally, they said they use the same cleaners, for all the same reasons! I can see why, and I plan to use them for all my visits now (can pack less, so no checked baggage, and have my clothes laundered at a cost way less than checked baggage fees!). Took my husbands 2 shirts in to be cleaned. After a week I received the 2 shirts back, one with a new yellow stain on the pocket and the other with snag holes. Very unhappy. She tried to tell me the ruined the shirts were our fault. They did nothing to compensate. read more
