Been coming here for years and never had a problem with routine dry cleaning items. Everything was fine, until I brought my wife's wedding dress in to be professionally boxed and preserved. They charged me $220 for the whole package which was comparable pricing to other places, the issue was not with the price. After taking it home, my wife opened it up and she found her dress in a nice box but it was crumpled up at the bottom of the box in a wrinkled mess. It fell off the manakin to the bottom of the box. I took great care traveling with it, and kept it right side up. Next day, my wife goes in to ask for them to fix it or give us a refund. They said that it is in a preservation box and they won't use anything to hold it in place (pins and such). Long story short: we paid $220 for them to throw the dress in a box and give it back to us in a wrinkled mess. I could've done that! Zero refund, no help whatsoever. I Strongly recommend looking elsewhere for wedding dress boxing. They have lost a customer. read more

I had the best service here. My husband took a new suit and a tuxedo to be pressed and hemmed. The staff was very helpful with both and it cost him about $7 per leg for hemming and $15 for both suits to be pressed. After seeing the service they gave him and how well everything turned out I asked how much to have my wedding dress pressed. They quoted me $30 and I was all over that because everywhere else had quoted me prices starting at double that or more. When I brought my dress in and they were signing me in they discovered they had been wrong about the price. They actually press dresses starting at $60 which is around the going rate in this area, however, while they could have easily told me they were sorry they couldn't press my dress for less they stuck to their original quote because they had already given their word. They did a beautiful job on my dress and I will definitely keep bringing my business back. read more

I'm not sure what all the one star reviews are.. maybe people aren't being clear with the tailor work they want done? I've taken two pairs of pants in and they always turn out amazing? Be clearer about your needs. read more

My favorite and only place for dry cleaning, alterations and more! Very friendly and kind people yet professional as well. :) I've had bridesmaids dresses altered, my wedding dress altered (wore my mom's and we're definitely different sizes haha) and had a rain coat altered for my dog.. yes, my dog.. They offer same day service if you go to the Cameron Park store... so when I'd gone the cheap route and washed my cotton bridesmaid dress at home, then procrastinated on pressing it until I was flying out THE NEXT DAY at 3am for my friend's wedding, Classic Cleaners saved my booty.. and saved my dress from looking like crap from a home-press job tehe. read more

I've tried to use these guys since they are local but today will be the last! Every Time I bring work shirts in to be laundered she tries to tell me that I need to have them stain treated and dry cleaned. They are work shirts for construction workers and they come perfectly clean with the laundering service at $3.00 a shirt. Of course you want me to pay $8.00 a shirt but it's NOT going to happen. She hounds you asking the question several times even when you've said NO several times. I'm done being treated like I'm 6. Plenty of other cleaners at a cheaper price. read more

Took a sport jacket in to get tailored picked up and found nothing done after paying $28 to have sleeves adjusted. Won't be coming back. Pricey and not a quality cleaner. read more

Horrible service! Dropped off my dress. See the sign on the window that says same day service! Then they tell me my dress won't be ready till Wednesday. Guess what, go in on Wednesday to get it and get told that i need to drive to Cameron park to get it because it's at their other location. Are you kidding me? Should've told me that when I dropped it off in the first place. read more

I go to their other cleaners in Cameron Park. I only go there and love all the great service. I go to Placerville for alterations and always return there. I have tried other alterations by my home in EDH and always wish I would have driven up the hill to Placerville where I get excellent service and where they KNOW what they are doing. read more

Brought in my Japanese wall hanging with a stain on it. I had bought it for a reduced price, but was hoping that they could take out the stain. For $8 they took most of it out, so that to see it now, you have to really look close. They did a great job and didn't charge much for it. They are always courteous and reasonably priced. read more
