Edit: I reached out the customer service and they offered to deliver a replacement bouquet. It is gorgeous and much more similar to what I initially ordered. Very happy with how this issue was handled. Very disappointed. I bought a beautiful, colorful bouquet but what was delivered was pale and missing flowers. I understand that when certain flowers are not available, substitutions are made but in this case there was no substitution for the missing flowers except for a foil balloon (which I don't think it a proper substitution). There is no fuchsia stock, raspberry sinuata statice, or sword Fern. I recommend other florists in the area. read more

The delivery people are really nice and follow COVID-19 rules of 6 feet apart and wearing a mask. The flower arrangements I have received are always gorgeous and bounteous! The flowers are always perfectly arranged and super fresh! On their website you can see the different prices which can vary anywhere from $40 to $300 but I feel that the prices are reasonable due to the type of flowers and la mano de obra!! ( talent of the creator) Also, if you already have something in mind they will make an arrangement specially for you; just call and they will work with you based of the flowers they have in stock. I decided to give this local flower shop a chance rather than using 1800 flowers being that I already had multiple bad experiences with them. The problem is that they never send what I order online. This was the best decision I could have made. Thier website is very easy to use and checkout. The best part was that my loved one received exactly what I ordered online. I ordered three different arrangements for my mom and two grandmas after a friend recommended this florist. It was so easy to order online! My mom sent me a photo of her arrangement, and it looked even better in her photo than it did online. Gorgeous, elegant, and unique! For one of the arrangements, they were out of a particular vase, but they called AND emailed me to check to see if they could substitute the vase with another. They're the professionals, so of course I trust their judgement of what will look pretty and special, and the vase was switched. I would post photos of my grandmas' arrangements, but they don't have smart phones to take photos and text me. I'm confident their arrangements were just as beautiful as my mom's. So idk what happen there. Ordered again and flowers didn't look how they were suppose to. The flowers looked like my niece picked them from outside and put them in a vase for me. One of the teachers I work with received flowers from Mt. Vernon Florist on the busiest day of the year (Valentines Day)and a few of the flowers looked wilted or smashed. I made a comment to the driver about the sad looking flowers and took the flowers and gave them to the teacher who was receiving them. About 20 minutes later the owner showed up with another beautiful bouquet to replace the first one. The owner was so apologetic and nice about giving another new arrangement. After ordering a money tree to be delivered to my boyfriend's office there was some confusion and the driver, without my authorization, delivered it to a different address. The surprise was absolutely ruined and though they had offered to pick it up the next morning and redeliver, my boyfriend had to pick it up himself. I called and asked for a refund on the delivery fee which I was granted, but the ladies I spoke to were short and argumentative and hung up on me after saying "we are really busy!" My cousin order a frame wreath for my father funeral service. She ask for white but when her husband picked up the wreath it was not white. The owner never once take the blame on their side but blame my cousin for their mistakes. The person who picked up the wreath didn't know the color of the flowers. All they know is, to picked up the order. It's not the price that matters but we are upset that they blame us for their mistakes. It was too late to even change the flowers because the service was less than an hrs. As a business owner, let me ask you the same question that you ask us. Put your self into our shoes. I have driven down twice now from Elk Grove this year to make a very special visit at Historic Union Cemetery in Bakersfield after first stopping to pick up some special flower arrangements at Mt. Vernon Florist. Both times I was helped by a very sweet and friendly young lady named Paisley who took the time to assemble the perfect flower arrangements in the exact colors I requested each time! I am planning another trip in the next few weeks and without a doubt will stop first at Mt. Vernon to pick up my flowers! I do not recommend this florist one bit. I received an arrangment of flowers and half of the flowers were dead and beat up. I kindly called and them them know that i was not fully satisfied they replaced my flowers, they looked better but half of the flowers were still looking beat and old. I called to speak to the manager and kindly explained the situation again and he stated he put the arrangement himself and that the flowers were as fresh as can be and were delivered to him this morning.
