TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE !!! my boyfriend took TWO DESIGNER SHORTS TO THIS TERRIBLE CLEANERS. The items were destroyed with bleach. the owner calls on Monday and explains what happens. she said she would replace the items if she couldn't replace them she would give him the money he paid for his shirt. My boyfriend was planning on wearing the shirts they ruined Saturday. She stopped answer the phone for him and reached out thursday saying she ordered one shirt and will give him money for the second shirt. It's now Friday and she's giving us the run around of when she will be giving the money and when the other shirt would arrive in the mail. mind you it's 3:58 on Friday and his event is at 11am on Saturda and he has nothing to wear bc this establishment destroyed his clothes. Shes just not a nice person and she could care less about her customers and customer service. It's so sad and unfortunate bc it's this man birthday and its first birthday in YEARS that he will be able to spend with his family. all she had to do was fix this on Monday when she called and said the shirts were ruined. Sent my son and his girlfriend's clothing here after their clothes experienced smoke damage due to a fire. Spoke to Eric first who then had Kimberly (the owner) call. Explained that there was no renter's insurance, money is very tight and that we would be paying out of pocket. Tried to get a general idea of what I was looking at and was told they would need to look over the clothing before I could get a quote -- fair enough. Nathaniel (I believe) picked up the clothing (and two suitcases) on July 24, 2019. On July 26, 2019 I received a phone call from Kimberly quoting a price of between $900-$1200. Needless to say, I was a bit shocked (I understand there is a process to get the smoke smell out, I just didn't expect things to be that expensive). Called my son and he and his grandmother went to the cleaners to pick out what he wanted to keep (he ended up tossing 98% of the clothing there). My son was told that the cost should be between $80-$100 now since they charge per pound. On July 30, 2019 I spoke to Eric to get an estimated time on when the clothing would be ready; he put me on the phone with Nathanial who said the clothing would be back that afternoon and someone would call with a price. On Friday, August 2, 2019 I called back and spoke to Eric again. He confirmed the clothing was there, it had been there since Tuesday afternoon, but I could not pick it up because they needed to get in touch with the owner to get a price. He also said that she was difficult to get in touch with so it may take a little bit before I hear something back. I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable. The clothing has been there over 2 weeks, and back at the cleaners for nearly a week, and no one can give me total. Oh, and the clothing that is left is pretty much all the kids have left. So yeah... UPDATE: My son was finally able to reach someone today. He was told that yes, the clothing had been there since LAST TUESDAY (today is August 5th) and that the owner was on her way in to price it. $387, not the $80-$100 as quoted. Will never go back there. We have used that place for years. They switched management . It was fine at first but they got a new computer system. They can never find me clothes and it takes forever to drop off and pick up. I lately the clothes have not been ready when promised. read more

My husband's suit was dropped off at Fresh Cycle Cleaners on Aug 12, 2020 after wearing it at our son's wedding on Aug 8, 2020. It was a new suit purchased on Jul 4, 2020 just for that occasion and was only worn that one time. After picking it up on Aug 20th I noticed a black mark on the jacket and a tag stating that there was previous damage from an iron mark. I contacted the owner, who insists to this day that someone in my family must have burned the jacket with an iron. I supplied receipts of the newly purchased suit, as well as pictures of my husband wearing it at the wedding in perfect condition. After agreeing to investigate, the owner claimed that a photo of the damaged jacket was taken and logged into their POS upon intake. When I requested to see the documentation, FCC's POS provided a copy of the photo with a date stamp of Aug 18, 2020 which was 6 days after the suit was dropped off. The Better Business Bureau has recorded a complaint against Fresh Cycle Cleaners on their website concerning this matter, however it was closed after I refused to accept their offer to send the jacket to a 3rd party to see if one of their irons could have left that mark. The suit was always in our possession with absolutely no reason to be ironed after it had been worn for the wedding. However, the suit was unaccounted for at FCC for 6 days prior to the damage being photographed and logged into their POS. After almost 6 months, I haven't been reimbursed for the jacket which is now unusable, or even a good faith refund of my dry-cleaning costs. I wouldn't recommend using Fresh Cycle Cleaners if you care about your clothing, or doing business with an establishment that cares about providing good customer service and customer satisfaction. read more

YOU pay for their mistakes. They put up a big fancy sign that says regardless of the quoted price for your dry cleaning, YOU are responsible if they make a mistake. This is a pretty neat trick for a business. IMAGINE your grocery store knocks on your door and says "sorry, your grocery is $50 more because we made a mistake ". The receipt says my clothes should have cost $20.66 --- NO they say, we screwed up and YOU have to pay for our ineptitude. I just dropped off my last load of clothes. I am moving on. Sad. read more

PAY CASH ONLY DO NOT GIVE YOUR CC OR BANK CARD TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! I dropped off dry cleaning on a Saturday for a Wednesday pick up. I paid in advance $17.94, two days I retrieved them. While doing a review of my banking transactions I saw the initial charge of $17.94 but then another charge by the same company "Starling Unlimited" for and unexplained $3.20. I contact my bank and they confirmed it was the same retailer Fresh Cycle Cleaners when I contacted the dry cleaners the person informed me that "the price changed between my drop off and pick up and the management recharged my card for the difference". THIS IS THE MOST UNETHICAL THING I'VE EVER HEARD OF! Yes, it's only $3.20 but why wasn't this mentioned to me when I picked up my clothes? Where is this establishment keeping my cc details that allowed them to initiate a completely separate transaction? I promptly filed a claim with my bank, and will also inform the better business bureau. read more
