The technician…read morewas out here roughly 10 minutes at most, checked two attics and told us we had mold and that it would require a major cleaning and sanitation. He first showed me the picture he took of our downstairs attic and then the part that to me was very hinky was when I asked to see the picture of the second unit, it took him several minutes of scrolling through his phone to find another picture that showed a moldy unit. (If the picture was just taken it would've been right there next to the first picture.) Estimate was over 3K. I had another company come out two days later and they said we had no mold and the estimate $1100. I'm going with the second company who spent 30 minutes going over everything and making sure that they provided an accurate estimate versus the service we got from Clean Air Pro. The other major negative was the person didn't even put up the stairs back to the attics and left my back door open to the garage.

They quoted me very quick for a mold restoration, the price was very reasonable (I paid a grand total of $699) , they worked around 4 hours at my house, and made before and after pictures for me so I can see the AMAZING difference! Frank responded to my initial Yelp request, and he came out to inspect my raccoon-damaged ducts and promised a quote. A week later, after four promises from Frank to send me a quote "shortly", no quote. Why do an onsite inspection and promise a quote if you don't intend to accept the job? My AC is out in Texas in August, and I don't appreciate being so deceptively strung along. Even without AC I'm on a budget, so I was hoping Frank's quote would be competitive and I believed every promise and kept adding another un-air-conditioned day in expectation of a price quote.

On a holiday. And they adjusted the scheduled inspection so that I didn't have to miss my daughter's birthday dinner. Roy and Eric (brothers, and brothers-in-arms as well) arrived on time and quickly assess the situation and the mistakes I had made. I had made the mistake of trying to clean my dryer vent with a Home Depot extendable brush, which I'd subsequently gotten stuck in the vent. The vent hadn't been cleaned in at least two decades. After multiple attempts to extract my brush, frustrated by tight quarters and a poorly placed HVAC condenser, they were able to extract my poorly executed tool (Important Homeowner Maintenance Tip 1: pay the professionals for this relatively routine stuff instead of trying to DIY when you don't have the proper tools or time to!). We haven't been able to clear the blockage yet (Important Maintenance Tip 2: Clean your dryer duct more than once every two decades!), but they've given me some professional perspectives, options, and worked their collective butts off to clear the obstacles. I wasn't home when they showed up to clean the ducts, my boyfriend was. The person who showed up seemed to be having a rough day and seemed irritated to have to be there. It seemed like they cleaned the vents and did a decent enough job. I showed up about halfway through and when I got there he seemed to be in better spirits and friendlier. I asked some questions about concerns we had and maintenance and the man obliged in answering but was dismissive about it. The cleaning was fairly priced so I would recommend for regular maintenance but if you're wanting good attention to detail for something that's been left for a while you might want to shop around
