Contacted Josh to inquire about dryer vent cleaning and chimney sweep. He was quick to respond and sent his teammate, Greg, out. Greg arrived promptly and immediately tended to the dryer vent. I didn't think it would take long since my handyman had cleaned it a year ago. Never let the handyman clean your dryer vent! Handymen are great and are often jack-of-all-trades kind of guys. Unfortunately, that can also mean "master of none". Greg and company are truly masters here. There was a lint blockage at a 90° bend that had not been addressed previously. Resolved now. Following last winter's storms, getting the chimney cleaned was a priority for me prior to the fall. Cleaning the chimney, Greg was careful to lay out a tarp around the area to catch any debris and used about 32' of reach into the flue. Soot came pouring out. He vacuumed the fireplace and surrounding area, leaving it looking very neat and clean. I have updated my calendar to contact Josh and Greg next August. He failed to sing "Chim-chimney-cherrie", but that was the only short coming. Given that he has probably never seen Mary Poppins, I couldn't deduct any stars; however, if it was possible to leave more than a 5 star review, I certainly would. read more

Neither my fiancée nor I have ever had the need to hire a chimney sweep service before, so we weren't sure what to expect. What does a normal person do on their first day of a Staycation? Schedule contracters in who only work M-F 9 -6PM, when you are working. After exchanging some emails, Josh was schedule for 10AM on Monday. He knew I wanted first thing in the morning so when he showed up 30 minutes early, I was happy. He was very professional and introduced himself. I then introduced him to my cats. If I don't, then KC will attack him. I walk him through the house pointing out all of the AC vents, showed him where the dryer and firplace was. He got down to working. He told me it would take 3 hours and he was done in 2.5 hours. The best part was the resonable price. Because I was bundling all of his services, Fireplace was half price, dryer vent free. To top it off, my hose for the dryer lint was a bit damaged. First off, the quote was excellent & ON TOP of that he cut the dryer cleaning in 1/2 because I was having them done on the same day. When they arrived two minutes to 1pm (their scheduled time was 1pm), the got to work right away taking all the vents off, while the other Josh went right to the dryer. Josh (the owner) came down from the attic and took pictures of some mold & moisture because he went to check the roof, attic, and HVAC system. He told me he could clean it for me. Offered a good price for services. We had our dryer vent and chimney cleaned. We had never gotten the dryer vent cleaned before so it was pretty dirty. They told us there was a bird nest in it as well. Cleaned it out without a problem. They stated that they don't charge extra for bird nests like other companies. One thing that I will add is, there were comments made from one guy to the other repeatedly stating that the dryer vent was really, really dirty. Well that is why they were hired to clean it. We had a mess in our laundry room, at the end, water running down our walls. Total blockage in our dryer vent. We had cleared all of it, but just made it worse. Found 4:11 Service on Yelp and contacted them. Josh worked us in same day. This task was not for the faint of heart - our roof is VERY high, and very steep. Dryer vents to near the top of the roof. Greg first cleared out the vent from the inside (and of course it was clean because we just did that). Got into the attic to see if he could access from there the top - he could not - so tried different ways to get onto the roof safely, and he figured out a way. I reviewed the units and there was only normal moisture build up, nothing major. Josh's quote was around a third of the price and he was very easy to work with and honest.
