This was my first time going to a Laundromat, I had so many blankets that had stacked up in my laundry room (5 kids worth) that I decided it was worth it to knock as many out as possible in as short a time as possible. Fresh folds was close to my house and well reviewed and lives up to all the great reviews! It was more expensive than I expect but worth it for the time save. Very clean place, safe and the attendant was very kind and helpful. I would come back again if I get behind on my bulky laundry again. read more

Amazing Customer service! I called on a holiday week and immediately someone picked up and was able to answer all my questions. I was originally quoted $20 each for comforter drop and fold (great deal) but upon arrival she suggested let's weigh them because they were more blanket than comforter. She ended up saving me about ten dollars on all three. She didn't have to do that and could've just easily let me pay the $20 per blanket. Blankets are so clean and they used their own detergent. (Free and Clear Costco brand) I dropped off at 10am and they were ready by noon. The facility itself is so clean! Parking is not the best situation but it's worth it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean drop and wash or self service. read more

I hadn't been to a laundromat in three decades. I had a big load of blankets to wash. I wanted a laundromat that was clean, safe, took debit cards, had an attendant and a bathroom. This place had all of that. The attendant was very helpful and walked me through everything. I was done in just over an hour. It is on the pricey side, and everything is purchased on a card you buy and load. But it's worth it. It was a good experience. We'll deserving of five stars. It would be expensive for a low income person however. read more

I would give 5 stars, but there was one issue... I've been twice to this laundromat. The first was on a Wednesday. The attendant was kind, attentive and walked me through the whole process of getting a new card and all that. EVERYTHING is run by the card! The machines, the vending machines, entrance into the bathrooms, everything. I, as a single woman, didn't feel nervous about being there by myself. The attendant was attentive to all the patrons. I was there about two hours doing my laundry, and I watched her sweep up and check/clean empty machines about 5 or 6 times. This place is CLEAN!! I loved it! There are lots of folding tables and charging stations for phones. Lots of chairs to sit in. Some people may balk at the prices, but pay attention to what size the machines are, you'll get more than your monies worth!!! (There are 2, 4, 6, and 8 load washers and they are accurate!) The dryers are 65¢ per 8 minutes. I dried a load with 9 pairs of heavy jeans, a jacket, and a bunch of shirts in 24 minutes! ($1.95) Also a BIG LOAD of queen sized sheets, blankets, a quilt and a comforter for, again, 24 minutes. All in all, a GREAT FIRST VISIT! The second time was on a Saturday. There was a different attendant that time. An older lady. I noticed she was not as attentive...or at least I only observed her speaking to people she was familiar with. I'm not there for convo, so it was no big deal to me. What I did notice was a couple that had come in, and were obviously new to the place. The attendant made no attempt to assist them as they wandered around trying to figure out how the whole place worked. It wasn't until the woman made a mistake that the attendant finally spoke up! So the reason I only gave four stars instead of five: I was folding a load at one of the tables, while waiting for another load to finish drying. I heard the attendant speaking with one of the other patrons. Not my convo, so I paid no attention. Apparently the dryer my blankets were in had stopped. She took my blankets out of the dryer and bagged them up and put them behind the counter!!!! When I got done folding and went to get my other load it was obviously gone. When I questioned, she curtly responded "oh...those were yours? I put them in back. I asked but I guess you didn't hear me." WTH??? I followed her up to the front, she pulls the bag out from behind the counter...it was SWEATY! The blankets were still warm, STILL DAMP! Again: WTH??!! WHO DOES THAT??!! That was my ONLY issue with this place. Again: SUPER CLEAN, I felt safe, lots of washers and dryers, lots of tables, seating and space. There are vending machines if needed. I also like that since I put my info in when I loaded my card, I get alerts on my phone when my washers and dryers are done! All in all, a great place if you need to do laundry!! read more

From the first step into the door, I knew this was going to be a different laundry mat experience. The environment is awesome. So clean and fresh. The women that helped me navigate the process was about the friendliest person I have encountered in a retail environment. She happily walked me through the steps of the process without me even asking. She was great. I was able to knock out a large bed spread in less than an hour AND did a little grocery shopping at the same time. read more

For the area it is in this place is super clean and super well run. It is worth your money if you can get one of the two biggest washers other wise it can get a little pricey. Felt safe hanging out there waiting for laundry to finish, and they have plenty of charging stations and chairs to wait in. 100% would recommend to anyone, the cards make it super easy to pay also. read more

My dryer broke about ten days ago, so I knew a trip to the laundromat was in the near future. I saw that Fresh Folds had a drop-off service so I could pick up everything later, and tried it out. I brought 40 pounds' worth of clothes, bedding, and towels into the University Place location and picked it up less than four hours later, laundered and folded. The attendant who helped me made sure to ask my preferences on fabric softeners, detergents, and the type of washing I needed for whites. It was just under $90, including tip; I'm not sure what the total would have been had I just done all of the laundry myself, but this service saved me hours of sitting in the laundromat and folding everything, so it was well worth it for the peace of mind. read more
