I came in with my daughter to dry a load of laundry, which we come in weekly to do since our dryer broke and the part is on back order. I was putting my clothes in the dryer and a very rude lady with a mullet came up to us and aggressively asked why I didn't grab a cart for my laundry, I was confused and continued to load our clothes. She then yelled loudly that I can't dry my clothes and last wash and dry was at 8pm. I asked why I couldn't dry my clothes since I wasn't washing them and it was about 8:15pm and they didn't close till 9:30pm. She told me I needed to take my clothes out. As she's yelling at me a man came up in front of me and began to load his dryer with clothes. I asked again why I couldn't dry and he could. She began ranting about how her boss made the rule and nobody can think for themselves there? My toddler got scared from her yelling and I was physically upset. She then told me I need to leave when I asked why and pointed out the other dryers had over 30 minutes left. I was extremely embarrassed due to the multiple people in there that witnessed it and seeing my child get upset. All I wanted was to dry my clothes. Weird to review a lavenderia but hey, this place is lit. Doors open, not locked, people friendly, staff right there to help you and they even will wash your clothes and fold them, it's a cost. This is a laundromat I go to often when I need to do large loads, like towels and bedding. We have always liked this place because the staff is normally friendly and it's usually clean. Tonight my daughter and I went there and as we usually do. I was separating my laundry, I left a clear path for anyone to come through, and there are two doors to go in and out. The older woman that works there rudely came up to me and told me to make a path. I said, "ma'am there is a path," but then I immediately started to pull my laundry closer to me and she started kicking my laundry at my face. I didn't raise my voice, I said, "please don't kick my laundry at me, that's very disrespectful." She very loudly said, "well, you can leave!" My exact words were, "or you could just leave me alone and leave me to do our laundry. I simply said, 'please don't kick my laundry at me' and you want to kick us out." I had already started some laundry and it was locked so I couldn't leave. Other customers were supporting me and gave me their phone numbers, one gentleman politely told her that they didn't know me, but from what they saw she was being the aggressor. She called the cops on me which was unnecessary, three separate police officers and a K-9 showed up. I agreed to leave as soon as my loads were done washing. We waited outside in the rain and worked on loading up the laundry I had not started yet. Another customer was outside helping us load my car and that woman called 911 AGAIN! She took police away from actual people needing help to call on me. I asked the police what she had said because I had not said one more word to her and we waited outside. They said, "her complaint was that we were still there." I told them, "yes because I have to load up wet laundry back in my car and we were on a public sidewalk so she had no business causing more drama." I am still shocked at how aggressive she was over me asking her not to kick my laundry. If other people had not witnessed it, I wouldn't have even made a review because her behavior was that unbelievable. I told her I'm pretty sure the owner isn't going to be happy that you costed him over 100 dollars over me asking you not to kick my laundry and she laughed in my face. I will be going further with this complaint. I now have no clean bedding or pillows, and my children and I have no clean laundry or towels because I took everything we had to be washed tonight. If you want to be treated with any amount of respect at all, I recommend taking your business to literally any other laundromat in the area. I went to speak with the owner today and I am absolutely shocked at his response. He was so rude even after acknowledging that his employee acted in a way she shouldn't have. "He literally said what do you want me to do fire her" "Do you want me to give your money back?" I said yes I do! So the service deserves 5 stars , super helpful and kind . I needed to wash and fold services so I can still go work while laundry being done. $30 for 12 lbs is ridiculous.. I fly out tomorrow so they got my business and only cause the worker was so polite. I paid $15 for 10lbs in Lynnwood over the weekend before . Stop price gouging, $30 is over priced be real in these times. But if you are doing your own laundry the place is clean and seems like an ok location. Big thank you to the employee , deuces to the owner ( never twice for me). Elsewhere doesn't have 2 different prices , just the one and state will be done in 3 hours or less same day service. This is a fantastic laundromat, something that I do not normally need or use. The employee on duty will answer your questions and assist you as needed. You can even leave your laundry to be washed and folded at a fair price. This place is clean, comfortable and pleasant. It is nice to do multiple loads at one time, toss everything in a jumbo dryer, then use the large folding tables to get your stuff ready to take home. I bought myself a new Speed Queen washing machine but until I take delivery, I will come to Legacy Laundry. Thank you! read more

Our home washer died on us. We're waiting for a service person to look and assess what is happening with estimate to fix or purchase a new washer/dryer. Meanwhile, it's laundromat time! Legacy Laundry on River Road in Puyallup is a definite recommend. This business is clean, well lit, easy to find, maintained excellent with professional staff. The times that we've been in the launder, this has been top notch. All surfaces are spic & span! The cost to wash and dry is reasonably priced. I haven't been to a laundromat in 10+ years so I was a little hesitant when I had to find one because our washer & dryer won't be delivered for a few weeks. This place is amazing! This is my second time here in a week. They have at least one person (sometimes 2) on staff cleaning each machine after every person. They aren't allowing folding on site because of CO-VID. I went to this business to do laundry. I put my clothes in the washer and went outside and sat down away from the other people in the seats because there was nowhere else to sit. I was told I couldn't sit there, but there was no where to sit. So the cops got called and I was told to leave. They did not even notice that I was a paying customer just waiting for my stuff to finish. I was then told to get my items and leave and never come back. ..... This is by far the cleanest, nicest laundry mat I have ever been to. Newer machines that take coins or a credit/debit card. I was able to wash twin size bed sheets, comforter, 2 towels and a load & a half of clothes in one large washer on hot for $5.75 (cold wash is $5.25). An attendant was there continuously cleaning the inside of the empty washers with disinfectant as well as the lint traps on the dryers. This place is spotless! We are traveling thru-this seems like a safe/nice area. Dollar Tree (laundry supplies), Tractor Supply and Goodwill along with several restaurants in the same shopping center. We don't often use a laundromat so it was wonderful to be asked right away if we needed any help. Stacey explained how the machines worked, how to pay and let us know the machine we used rinses 3x so we didn't need to add time for an extra rinse. She even suggested how long we should dry our comforter. One can pay with coin or credit cards. The entire time we were there Stacey was cleaning. This is the cleanest and nicest laundromat I have been in. Wifi is also free. I didn't try it, but I assume it works. Magazines are available near the front door. I'm used to laundromats being run down and slightly dingy places where you risk your clothes being shredded or stained by badly maintained machines. Not here. This affordable business is clean and well maintained, with well functioning machines of various sizes and an authentically helpful staff person who offers friendly advice based on actually experience. I've never seen a laundromat being constantly cleaned and wiped down by a staff person - but that appears to be the norm here. I was able to get my bedding washed and dried in less than two hours - and even enjoyed a beer at the bar next door. read more

I would give this place a negative 5 stars if I could. I've been consistently screwed by this place and today was the last straw. I had to come there to dry my clothes because my dryer is not functioning. I spent all day washing clothes and nothing was dry. I loaded all these heavy wet clothes into brand new bags and everything was very clean, smelling fresh just needed a drying. I'm disabled and have a very hard time but it needs to be done. I get to this place, my second choice because of past situations, and put a load in the dryer, started it up and went to get my other clothes. I was then informed I was not allowed to dry my clothes unless I washed them there first... WTF. Excuse me? I was given some lame excuse about sanitation and was rudely asked to remove my clothes. Excuse me? I am a paying customer and my clean wet laundry smelled a thousand times better than that entire establishment. I was offended, disgusted and demanded my money back which I wasn't given all back, not to mention my time, my gas money and the undeserved disrespect and plain ignorance. Don't waste your time or money. You will be happier anywhere else than here. The bathroom door doesn't lock, creeps walk in on you when you are in there. While traveling we found this laundromat. It was one imof the cleanest laundromats I've ever encountered in my 64 years. Easy parking, plenty of washers and dryers with various load capacities as well as plenty of carts and space to fold clothes. There was a clean, stocked bathroom for customer use too. Fernando was the employee on duty and was patient, polite, and very helpful. Options to pay with coin or by bank card. Here I can wash and dry the laundry in a short period of time.The business owner's keep this location well lighted and very clean. But it was close to home and since I just needed it for my washing due to mine breaking I stepped out of my comfort zone and chose this place. Glad I did the woman was super friendly and very helpful and explained how to use the machines, explained they have a loyalty program, you can use your debit card, supplies are there if you forget and a vending machine. PS: There's a bar close by if you need a drink Very new looking and clean machines, they have large washer and dryers if you need to wash your blankets and comforters. While loading a dryer a women rushed up to tell me I could not dry my clothes UNLESS I also washed my clothes there! What kind of service is this to the community to people who have broken washers or dryers? If my washer had broken would I be allowed to only wash? Why would an owner/operator refuse to make money from people using their dryers? Why this silly distinction?
