What an amazing small business. I'm so glad I found somewhere clean to wash bigger items now! Their worker is around the clock cleaning. Just look at their bathroom and you will be in shock with how sanitary everything is. I loved that during covid they open the windows and doors. I hope more people do wear masks as I was the only one wearing one today. Aside from that I will gladly visit and take my business here. Thought I brought more cash than I did, and the digital pay was fast and a life savor. Took me just a few minutes to download and pay for the washers. First time customer, and I was quite happy with the laundromat. The ladies working there were friendly and more than happy to teach me how their laundry systems worked (it says they accept credit cards, but the equipment uses the Payrange app and does not have credit card acceptors). They made sure I was able to get through the process. The Payrange app is quite easy to use, once you learn it, and they can walk you through the process. The business is clean, if a little time-worn. They are in the process of upgrading some of their washers that are not Payrange compatible, so for a little bit their washer capacity will be less than normal. They also do a drop-off and pick-up service, and they keep laundry products behind the counter (no out-of-order machines to deal with). Prices are very reasonable, having done four loads of laundry, heavy cycle, and drying, for $20. Customer service seems to be the name of the game there, and I will gladly go back. Prices seem a little high and it's a smaller place but it's clean. Got there at opening (7am) on a Wednesday and nobody else was there. Regular sized washers (10 total) are a little small and cost $3 for a light cycle ($3.50 for a heavy wash). 5 smaller front load washers and 3 regular sized washers available. Also have larger 4-load and 6-load washer for $7 and $9 respectively. 18 front-load dryers give you 4 minutes for 25¢. If you load your washers and pay them $5.75, they'll move your clothes from the washer to the dryer and text you when the dryers are done. Helpful if you've got other errands to run. Couldn't give this place 4 stars as there were quite a few machines out-of-order. Otherwise it's a pretty solid place. read more

Wow...machines are old as dirt and theyre charging prices that are in line with what laundromats with newer machines are charging. The only way I could see anyone using these machines are if they live in the apartments near by and have no transportation. If you walk in here, you will see for yourself. Time to update! read more

Never been to a laundromat however we had to since moving back from HI. The place was clean and very tidy.

So, today was my first time using this laundromat. Being a single female, I try to stay away from sketchy ones since I will be alone for an hour or so in a building that generally doesn't have anyone working on site. This place was AMAZING! The staff was SO friendly, EVERYTHING was clean! And I mean, the machines, the floors, the restroom, ALL OF IT was very well maintained! I didn't have to worry about my clothes being too wet out of the washer or the dryers not working. Everything was working well and I even had a conversation with one of the workers and they were incredibly kind! I usually spend about $35 at the laundromat for me and my 3 girls to do laundry, but I left not even having to spend $20 total to wash and dry 3 full loads of laundry with my bulky carhartt in the mix. I will probably never use another laundromat again! read more

What a great laundry mat! Clean, cheerful and the most delightful friendly person on duty. Sure made the task at hand a breeze! We were traveling and it was laundry day and we found Tyee on the internet. We were greeted by attendant and it happened to be trivia day. We did t get the question correct but this was the first time I've ever been greeted in such a friendly manner at a laundromat. The machines were clean and the dryers efficient. This a a very trustworthy laundromat. We dropped our clothes off and they are always smelling good and folded very nicely. Always done in a timely manner. This last time we dropped off some clothes and unknowingly left a dollar in a pocket and Amber was honest enough to put it in a bag to make sure it was given back to us. The fact that she took the time to give back a one dollar bill is very appreciated. Would recommend anyone to come here !! read more

Came to Tyee Laundromat at 7am and the doors was still locked. Nobody seems to be inside, so I waited an extra 20 mins and still don't see anybody. I called ahead to find out if I could do my laundry.... found out I'd be 5 mins later than their last load time. The gal says let me check with the owner he is down stairs. She gets back on the phone and says; yes, keep driving here. I pulled up with my laundry and walked in to be told that I wouldn't have time to do it, and he proceeded to ask if I had called Amber??? I definitely did, she told me to keep coming otherwise I would have not went the extra 12 mins to get there 5 mins past their last load time. I really could have saved the trip. Our dryer went out at home so we took our wet clothes here and I've changed my opinion of laundromats. It's very clean, the Owner is sweet and helpful. The dryers were cheap and super fast (.25 for 6min - double load dried in about 30 and it had blankets and towels). read more

This place has the worst customer service. We came here to wash our huge King sized comforter, and this awful girl who works here comes in at the end of the night and tells us we have 25 minutes before its time to leave. She made it so awkward that we left ten minutes on the dryers and went to another laundromat to finish up. She stayed on the phone while she cleaned, and she refused to let us or my grandma use the bathroom and insists she doesn't have keys to it.. Keep in mind I'm 39 weeks pregnant and have a bladder the size of a ping pong ball, and my grandma is 77 years old and she's refusing to let us use the bathroom that has a very specific sign that reads 'for customers only...' She just continues to gives us a terrible attitude and pretty pretty much yells at me, saying I'm slamming the dryer door too hard? And nearly kicks us out the door before going into her back room. My husband knocked over the garbage on accident cause it was in the way on his way out with the laundry basket full of wet comforters, and closes the doors to all the open dryers in his way with his knees, and then makes a move to go back to pick it up when she comes out the door and starts cursing at him, yelling at him and THREATENING us, telling him she had better never see us at the laundromat again. At this point I whipped out my phone to video record their exchange in case she decided to do something crazy, cause the whole thing was just insane to begin with, but my husband kind of lost it after she threatened us and told her to go F' her self... so we get into the car to leave and she screams out she's going to call the police on us for slamming her dryer doors on the way out...? What? I don't know if she owns the place, which would make it even worse, but if the owners are reading this and they are two separate people, get her out of here, cause I don't usually tie in the word disgusting and person in the same sentence, but she takes the cake... Disgusting customer service, disturbing personality. Awful place of business. Just a terrible experience all together and a total bust. I feel totally disrespected. No one in their right mind would treat someone like that or talk to them like she was. This whole experience was just nuts. read more

You can actually only use the restroom here if there is a manager onsite.. I passed through town and washed some jeans and the bathroom was locked. The main reason I stopped was because it was clean but not being able to use a bathroom was a little irritating. Apparently the weekend cleaning lady carries the key for the bathroom .. I have been going to here for more than 3 years. Became friends with the owner and sent my friends and family here. Whenmy grandchildren make a mess they clean it up. We even made me signs when they wrote on them. Over the past free months things have become dirty and the machines do not work very well. They dryers take your money and the new machines cost more for higher temperatures as well as load size 25cents for each one. I have never said much about the money the dryers takes it is ideal a quarter or two. The last time I was in the laundry mat no-one was their I had to run home to use the restroom. The washers take 32 mins I started 3 washers left I was back in 28 mins. One of my washers was still running and the employees where taking my cloths out and put then under a table. I was told it had been done for a while but if that is true it is broken. Then when I tell the owner the drier took 45 mins from my time after an error code I was told she would look at the video. Wow 3 years and I was basically told I was a lier. Don't go here not worth the aggravation and lost money. All over 2 dollors (that had not to date been returned) and spin city is cheaper and cleaner. read more
