The service requested was that we go in and we do our own laundry. The quality of the machines were really good. The value was reasonable and the facilities were super clean. It was super easy to find on a main street with its own private parking lot. Great facility. Awful employee. This was our first impression with Tops as it was our first time at the location. I was pleasantly surprised as the inside is very aesthetic and clean. Until an employee confronted me about a service animal. There is no publicly posted signage at the entrance of this location regarding pets. There is even a rogue cat that wanders through the opened side door and visits customers. So I was caught off guard when told, not asked, to provide documentation for a dog that I have in a carrier on my person. I replied that no such documentation exists for service animals and this employee argued with me that it does. I told her that there is no legal requirement within the United States to provide any such documentation because it doesn't exist. She denied it does and that I'm wrong... the person with the dog. I informed her that this request actually violates the ADA and that she is allowed 2 very specific questions regarding someone with a service animal but that in no way shape or form is she legally allowed to make me some how prove to her an animal is a service animal. Again, she implies I'm wrong, says the owners make disabled people provide this and that it's clearly posted. My dog isn't for vision impairment and I've yet to locate this sign.... She then elevates the situation and yells at me while walking away. Let's run through how one might prove a service animal. Even if this we're a situation requiring documentation (housing authority or flight, the only 2 legally allowed to require it) that decimation would prove MY condition which requires a service animal and lend you nothing regarding the animals abilities to assist. Please inform your employees and yourselves about proper ADA compliance and discrimination because today this situation could have involved legal action. read more

Great clean laundry mat. The employee rudeness is why it got a one star. This is my first time coming here, and I went to throw some personal trash away, nothing uncommon from collecting trash out of the car while I wait for my laundry. Less than a lbs of trash in a bag and a water bottle. I threw it away inside and the lady working was like you can't throw that away, it's a personal use trash can only. Okay so the guy who just spent $30 to do blankets and some clothes. Can't throw away a few empty coffee cups and a water bottle? I was nice and said okay took my trash from the trash can and walked out with my trash and my business for the future as well. And I hope others read this and not use this place as well. read more

there's a place down the street from this. one that will make any laundry mat a 5 star laundry mat. so I will say my comparison probably boosted my score a lil. but they have free WiFI, clean, reasonable, always someone on duty. but I do hate it when I can't buy bleach. they sometimes have it which says a lot more than 99% of other places. but most of the time they don't and I really wish they could make Clorox bleach more readily available for purchase read more

This place is great! New owners as of 8 months ago. Roof has been repaired, new paint, new flooring, new machines, new bathroom--everything has been upgraded. Both washers and dryers take Apple Pay or your debit/credit cards. There's a coin machIne--they still work on quarters, too. The snack machines are cash only--as are the washing supplies of you forgot yours, but super reasonably priced. I have a laundry room in my apartment building but I drive here because it's cheaper, even with the gas and wear and tear on my car. Unlike most laundromats, this one has the right amount of dryers for the washers. You won't have to wait. You may have to park on the street if it's busy (the lot is small) but it's still worth it. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Very clean and nice washers and dryer's. We were from out of town, so I got on Yelp to look for a laundromat. Very happy with this place. I'll be back to Tacoma in a week and probably will do my laundry their again. After I finished I was so hungry and I found IHOP down the street but my brother said I should of went next door to Elmers Diner. Give it a try , the young lady keeps the laundromat very clean. read more

I would of loved to give this place 5 stars it's clean lots of machines and dryers and due to the restriction of not being able to fold my clothes after drying them because we are being forced to leave when they are done. This is a clean spacious laundry mat. There is more than enough room between folding tables to keep more then 6 feet apart and to be told to take my clothes outside to fold or take them home seems a little extreme since they already limit how many people in at one time (3) and have you wait in your car while you things are going. I appreciate keeping things clean and safe but seems a little extreme. read more

They say their last wash of the night is at 8:30. I had a busy, busy day and made it in at 8:25. Yes, I know, cutting it close, but that was the soonest I could get there. However, they set their manual clock five minutes early, so despite being there on time to put my loads in just before last wash, I was told that I was too late, and when I pulled out my phone to point out that I was five minutes before the cutoff time, the attendant said that his clock, the one that they had set to be fast, said 8:30 and I couldn't do my laundry. My family and I have been using this place for a couple of years now, spending plenty of money on their overpriced machines, and now I'm not going back. If you say that your last wash is at 8:30, then actually make the cutoff time 8:30, not 8:25. read more

I found this place because it was close. I would drive out of my way to come here. NEW and clean machines, clean and bright atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The only down side is not enough parking. I usually do laundry on weekends and there are always machines available. My only complaint would be the customers who put their empty laundry basket in the wheeled carts so no one else can use them until they are done with their wash, dry and fold. But that's not the fault of management; just rude customers. read more

Very clean & nice, not your typical dirty laundromat. Several different washing price options, vending machines, detergent, softner & dryer sheets available for purchase, laundry cards for reuse and they offer fluff & fold for what I consider reasponbly priced. The only drawback is they don't keep enough laundry carts available. There's only 6, which is by far not enough with how busy this place gets or if someone just comes with a lot of laundry. read more

I came to this place when I grew disillusioned with somewhere I had gone before. This business is clean, the associates friendly, and there are so many machines! Two full walls of dryers, double stacked. Tons of washers that are maintained well. I forgot to put my laundry pod in today, and the machine to get dryer sheets was not working, so he gave me some detergent and a couple of dryer sheets at no cost. I will be driving the extra two miles or so to frequent this place. I am surely impresed! read more
