I'm very sad because I wanted to love this place.... Mind you I went in hungry... It's not handicapped accessible or I missed the ramp completely! I'm not sure how they get away with that. So perhaps there is another entrance that no one told me about. The service was quick and our waitress was nice. The atmosphere was good. Ordered a rib plate... the small portion of ribs were over cooked and dry with loads of fat. The baked beans are so sweet it seems like 90% sugar 10% bean juice for sauce; they had zero meat, onions or personality. Beans & sugar syrup. Straight gross! The potato salad tasted store bought, bland nursing home vibe. The sweet tea was good. So I chocked down a few bites of dry ribs, 1 bite of beans & potato salad, paid the ridiculous price and left. Definitely not worth the prices they are charging! The lady at the register was nice. Perhaps they were just having an off beat day. That's the only reason for 2 stars. Good little food find off I55, near Senatobia. The name throws me way off, but whatever, you do you. Here's why I say that.... It's a bbq, sandwich, and burger place essentially. There is nothing really fresh about it. It's an old convenient store modified into a restaurant as far as I can tell. It's got that country feel to it. Lots of silly stuff on the walls, you know. Food was 50/50. Main was good, sides are meh all around for us. BLT was really good, lots of bacon, toast was good, added the onions like she wanted and all. The onion rings were frozen and greens were the white folks version. They had some homemade pepper sauce and salt on the table for good reason. It helped some, not much. My rib plate was the same way. Ribs were good themselves, sides were just ok. Ribs hung on the bone, really nice bite, and had a slightly sweet smokey flavor. Sauce was really sweet and not my jam. I dipped a bit in it, not much. Beans were so sugary they were near becoming candy as they cooled. They had "fancy corn" as a special so I had to see what that was. It was pretty good, but not fancy, yo. I love corn! I may make it back here someday. The front counter staff was great, our server was sweet, food filled me up, and it was clean. We have eaten here quite often! 1.) Family owned and operated and you feel that in the service! They truly care! 2.) Food cooked fresh when you order! Nothing sits under a heat lamp all day. 3.) We usually get the platter with a little of everything and really enjoyed it. Might be pricey but if you determine a favorite then on a return visit you can focus on preferences. Great service very hospitable and friendly. Small interior but nice. They were serious about tempting desserts with the cooler being right there. So we were hanging around the bonfire Friday night when we heard about Fresh Garden Market. So, of course, it's where we headed Saturday morning, which happens to be the only day they do breakfast. The outside of the place isn't much to look at but then you're surprised by a cute, fresh and vibrant interior. It's got a great country cafe vibe. The staff was friendly. The food was good. The hash brown casserole is awesome. It's fresh and cheesy. The best I've ever had. That alone will bring me back. Anyway, breakfast was good and I look forward to trying lunch! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this little place. They have some weird hours, but if you catch them open it's really good BBQ. I got the pulled pork sandwich with beans and who can turn down fresh collard greens. The beans are flavorful and baked perfectly with a little meat. A lot of the local places just open a can of bush baked beans and call it done, but not here. The collards are cooked with some fat back and no sugar I hate when people sugar them. The food came out very quickly and everyone was satisfied. Checkout took some time, but can't complain after being satisfied. The staff over at Mimi's on Main sent us down to Fresh Garden Market for some Saturday lunch. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the place was quaint and very clean inside. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff and the service was great! The menu had lots of good options and we had trouble deciding. We ultimately chose the Club Sandwich and the Smoked Sausage Sandwich. The Club Sandwich comes piled high with their house smoked Turkey. It was a LOT of food and you pay a good price for it, but you should be able to get two meals out of it! It was so tasty, we wished we could have taken home a pound or two of their sliced Turkey. The Smoked Sausage came on a hoagie roll and was delicious! The onion rings were perfectly crispy and perfectly fried. Great little restaurant! My family and I ate here today for lunch. We pulled up and we weren't sure if it was a store or a restaurant. It's store they turned into a restaurant. The food was really good. I had the rib-eye sandwich, my wife had a club sandwich and my son had a rib sandwich, they were all excellent. Service was great too. I had and order for 11 which I called in due to being out of state Two days ahead and everyone i worked with and spoke too were nothing but kind and helpful. Coming from working in the service industry i know how annoying it can be having orders immediately at open and they were still just as helpful and kind.
