Very friendly casual outdoor and indoor dining. I started with the nachos the toppings were hearty but the chips were hard. The smoked pork was sweet and tender. I then had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw and fries. The fries were fine but the slaw tasted like it came from Walmart. read more

I have been here a handful of times now and this BBQ is damn good. It's as good as any within 100 miles at least. Ribs are stellar! I've had the pulled pork, bbq bologna, sausage on the sausage cheese plate, and the baby back ribs. I've had a bunch of the sides and they aren't as good as the proteins, they will do. It's in an old office of a concrete plant, I think. It's kinda slapped together haphazardly, like a good bbq place should be. I do believe I have never seen a one story building with four levels, but tada!! It's got a real smoker with real wood burning inside it. It's this that makes the meats so damn tasty. I didn't see any automation, rotisserie smokers, cook and holds, none of it. They do however have a ventless fryer back in the kitchen. Not something you see that often and this one is old school, 2020 model, LOL. The small basket it has means they cannot cook that much at once, so I've always gotten fresh fried anything. That's uncommon in the bbq world. Each time we come it seems there is about six-eight months between the next visit. Originally I believe it was because one of my daughters had "beef" with one of the little servers. She waited on us a couple of times and E. swore that she was going to mess with our food. LOL. I am pretty sure that never happened. My last few visits have just been great. It's worth the drive here as nothing in north MS competes with this establishments BBQ. Tell them that Adam sent you! FANTASTIC BBQ! We were driving through went to another BBQ place and it was horrible. Looked on Yelp and saw all the fantastic reviews on this joint so thought we would try it. I can say this was VERY good BBQ. The house sauce is the perfect type, sweet and tangy. They have soo many options regarding meats. We had the pulled pork basket and the brisket. Both were very good portions for the price. The to-go waitress was fantastic! Very helpful in all aspects of service. The place can seat parties up to 12 easily, good for families. The bbq was terrific as always-moist and extremely flavorful. The ribs are the main show-simply fabulous. Got sides of mac'n cheese, baked beans and slaw that were all quite tasty. Plus, added an order of fried pickle spears. They don't over bread these and they don't turn soggy if you end up sticking a couple in the fridge. The country shop kind of decor makes it seem homey, relaxed, sit a spell, almost comforting. They are always extremely courteous and quick. What a pleasant surprise! Our security technician recommended Jimbo's for some of the best BBQ in the area. I decided to give them a try. Let me say - he was right!! There was plenty of parking out front and outdoor seating options. The staff at the counter was super friendly. I decided to try their pulled pork sandwich and grabbed a banana pudding cake. Oh my goodness! The sandwich was massive and the BBQ was excellent! The banana pudding cake was simply outstanding and full of flavor. I enjoyed the meal so much that I returned a couple of days later to try the brisket since they were sold out the day I visited. It was soooo good! The texture and flavor were both perfect!! I went to get a loaded bbq baked potato. The potato was so hard you couldn't cut it. The cheese and meat were cold. I asked them to heat it up bc the potato wasn't cooked and everything was cold. They brought it back and everything was still cold. I ended up sitting and watching my family eat and I took mine home. So, essentially, I paid for food that I had to take home to cook. read more
