I am not usually one to check out new "food court" businesses, but after reading an article online figured to check out the menu and possibly order. This healthy, fresh restaurant recently opened this past Saturday 4/26/2021, in the former location of Salsaritas. After seeing the sign, the few times I have been to the Galleria mall, it was nice to check out another healthy option for mall patrons, or people like me that will stop in for the random mall staple of Auntie Anne's or Bath & Body Works. The Fresh Healthy Cafe concept: Motto " Wholesome Good Food", food that ranges on the menu are wraps, paninis, beyond burger, smoothies, juices, power bowls, protein salad bowl, signature bowls, organic iced teas, and soups. They do have options for making it a meal deal as well. I'm by far a healthy eater and love scoping out "health options" that are fresh, quick with reasonable standard pricing. They even offer a kids menu, never too late to teach your kids to eat healthy. All menu items are made fresh no matter what your order. All COVID guidelines were followed, their open kitchen concept and space in the location, reminded me of one of Gordon Ramsey restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly, wish this new business much success as I do plan to return. My food items selections during my visit: The Tex Bowl, and half veg portobello panini. Friday November 25th - 2022 - My family and I were visiting Buffalo, NY from California over the Thanksgiving Holidays. We happened to be in the Galleria Mall and went to Fresh Healthy Café for lunch. Have never been there before. I ordered a Fresh Squeeze orange juice for $7. This thin semi-tall African American young lady (I think wearing glasses) ran back and forth trying to manually squeeze the oranges to trying to use the automate Orange squeeze machine which didn't work. While the store was on/off busy due to lunch time and holiday rush, I was just shocked how many staff just looked the other way when she was begging for help. She could have easily given up and came to me and said the machine is broken or please order something else. She did not become discouraged when no one would help her. She didn't lose sight that customer has been waiting for 20min. She even apologized for the wait. She just kept trying to find a solution no matter what. Eventually she went back to the large automated Orange Squeeze machine, re-read the instructions and success! The machine worked!!!! She learned that larger oranges did NOT fit and jammed the machine. This young lady took the initiative to learn, to overcome and move forward when no one would help her, to have the humility to genuinely apologize for a delay and she never once gave up! She truly has the making of a great leader! If we had our own company I would hire her immediately! After nearly 25 minutes she gave me the juice and again apologized. My wife and I gave her a $20 tip! We are sad and we didn't get her name and only snapped the picture of the store as we left. read more

Ordered half of a Spicy Chicken Panini and half of a Chicken BBQ Panini just so I could try both (I don't recommend doing this as it will cost you more than if you just got a whole of one panini). Both were quite good, would definitely get both again, and I'll probably try out their other paninis as well. They were more filling than I had expected, I think next time I'll just get a half, since half was enough to satisfy me and eating the second half made me feel stuffed. That's pretty great considering how low in calories they are. Really great to have a legitimately healthy and calorie-conscious option for when you're eating at the mall. The wait is probably slightly longer than other places in the food court, I'm assuming just because of how they prepare the food. I didn't mind especially since there was no line, but just be aware I guess if you're trying to get something quick, it might take 15 minutes or so. read more

I was at the Walden Galleria Mall on 10-5-21 and I was looking for something for lunch...I didn't want burgers or pizza but I wanted something a little more healthier. So, I saw Fresh Market Cafe and decided I was going to give it a try (it was a little on the pricey side for a mall food court restaurant) . I ordered the safest thing on the menu( in my opinion..I am not a huge fan of chia seeds ..avocado..chic peas etc). I ordered a Turkey pesto panini...it had Turkey and basil garlic pesto and tomatoes. Well the turkey was tasteless it didn't even pick up any pesto...why...because the so called tasteless " focaccia " bread that the sandwich was made on was spongy and dry and it literally soaked up all of the pesto. Also, the turkey was a little on the dry side . The tomatoes was red and clear in color and had no taste whatsoever. They put it on a panini press it did absolutely nothing for the sandwich!! It didn't even warm it!!! Half of the sandwich is $7.49 and a whole sandwich is $10.49. I got the whole with tax it came to $11.49. What a waste of money and appetite!! I will never order anything from there EVER AGAIN!!! I hope I can post this with NO stars...but I probably cannot !! So if you see a one star on this post....it's only because 1) I couldn't give this place stars and 2) because the girl at the register and woman cooking was really nice!! In hindsight I should of went to Subway!!!! PS. Guess if you are wondering if I ever finished that sandwich...well if you cannot tell by this review that I didn't...let me just say it only took me 4 bites of one half to decided that Theo ONLY thing this sandwich was good for was the trash...and even that was to good for it!!! read more

Currently here and have been waiting about 15 mins for 2 smoothies...the strawberry smoothie was more like a slushee.....mostly water. The employees seem to have no sense of urgency. Every time I come here it's slower than the last...I loved this restaurant when it was on French Rd but unfortunately it has crashed and burned here at the Walden Galleria mall. Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I'm still trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt read more

Great food, bad service. Paid an extra $3 for chicken on my protein bowl and took it to go. I waited awhile for them to make it and when I got home I noticed they didn't put chicken on it even though they did charge me for it. Disappointed, I really wanted to like this place read more

Amazing customer service! All of the ladies that work there always have a smile on their face and have the best attitude. Service was horrible waited 10 minutes with no line and 3 workers there to even take our order. food was good tho. Not sure if I will be back deff can't if your trying to eat for lunch go on a day off. read more

Wanted to get some wraps from here and we were standing out front for about 20 mins with no one in sight. Then finally someone came out and said that they aren't taking any orders atm, they were rude about it too. They could have at least put a sign out to let people know that they were closed so they don't waste other people's time. read more

too expensive for subpar ingredients. never have gluten free wraps that are advertised. takes too long to let you order & make food. forgot the sauce on my burger that was extremely small. smoothie said it came with choice of protein, was 7.50 + 1.00 for protein that it said it came with... 23$ for a burger and a smoothie. ridiculous read more
