My mother-in-law took me here last week and I loved it! Lots of cute and unique gifts and they offered free gift wrapping for the holidays! I was able to find all of my last minute gifts and found some items I wanted as well-hey you're allowed to shop for yourself when shopping for others, right? One of the best kept secrets in Gardnerville! This boutique is full of unique gifts, gourmet treats and beautiful trinkets! It's the first place I run to whenever I have to buy a gift. They have something for everyone! It's one of the few shops my husband enjoys going to...he's even ventured in there on his own to buy a few gifts for his friends. The employees are amazingly friendly and very helpful in pointing out fun new items. For a small store, they carry everything from baby gifts, ladies pajamas, wall art, gourmet food items, garden decor, jewelry, doorbells...the list goes on! I discovered this delightful venue when I still lived in the Valley in the 90s. Every time I came back home for a visit I would stop in and Jody would recognize me, welcome me home, and help me find the most unique gift, for myself, or someone special. Although I haven't been home for many years, and live very close to San Francisco, there isn't another place quite like Fresh Ideas.
