BYO Poke Bowl Regular & BYO Poke Bowl Giant!
Niklas L.

This place is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! I have eaten at so many different Poke bowl places across NC but this place is by far one of the yummiest! The service was amazing as well - very kind and friendly staff. The ambience was welcoming and made the experience great!

This place was delicious! Didn't feel like making dinner and I was on baby duty so I got this through DoorDash. The order arrived faster than I expected which is always awesome. It came with the sauces on the side which I kind of liked because then I could add as much or as little as I wanted. The fish was all super fresh. And you get to choose so many toppings for free which is unheard of. Definitely give this place a try!

I stopped in today and got a small BYOB. It was absolutely delicious. I had the tuna and salmon and it was really good. The mix I got today was the right match for me. I loved the inside of the building, too. The atmosphere is really cute. Service was fine as it is a order at the front type of place. I really really enjoyed this.

Build your own poke bowl. Huge and delicious!!

After eating here several times, I just have to leave a review of this amazing place. First of all, to have the choice between açaí bowl and poke bowl?? Perfection. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by kind staff who walk through all of the choices and then wait patiently while you decide. The value for the money is outstanding, and the freshness and flavor excellent!! Also, today was the first cold day of the year and they were offering FREE bowls of miso soup. What a wonderfully kind gesture for their customers. This is and will continue to be our go to spot in Wilmington. Where else do they put a personal note on the bag--and call me an elegant lady??! Made my whole day. Can't recommend it highly enough!!

I drove by the flag signs a few weeks ago and remembered seeing it today when I was in the area and craving some Poke. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior decor and clean interior. Plus the lady working the cash register was super nice, and kind when I was taking a while taking it all in. Food was great too, such smooth and fresh! I will be back!

I got the regular sized build your own poke bowl and it was absolutely delicious! The woman who took our order was really helpful with all our questions about each part of the bowl when we ordered. We can't wait to go back next time we're in Wilmington!

This is the best poke in all of Wilmington! The atmosphere is so refreshing and clean. The young woman who owns the place is also very kind.

I had been looking forward to trying this cute little place out. I came in for a late lunch and…read morewas greeted right away. There were only two staff working but both were helpful and kind. I asked a lot of questions and the lady spent a lot of time with me. I ended up choosing the Kalbi with Hawaiian Cole slaw and macaroni salad. The portion size was big enough for three meals. I loved nori of the salads and the meat was good, too. The decor makes you heel like you are connected with Hawaii. The two locations, Hampstead and Hawaii- really cool. I really liked it there.

Staff were friendly and food was served quick. I liked everything except the smoothie. I don't know if it was the lilikoi or POG or both, but it had a strong artificial sweetener flavor for my taste. The Malasada was essentially a yeast doughnut with sugar sprinkled on top. The Macapuno waffle was soft, very sweet, and had a starchy like texture from the Ube. It was a little hard to eat since it would get crumbly when I tried to eat it with my fork. Served with dried toasted coconut flakes and lots of coconut whipped cream. Loco Moco was delicious. Gravy was already on the rice and not on the meat. Would be better if they gave extra gravy so I'll have to ask for that next time! They asked how I wanted my eggs cooked. I asked for medium, but it was cooked a little bit more than medium. Eggs were seasoned with nori komi furikake (Shirakiku brand/dried seaweed, black-and-white sesame seeds)- love! Ube hush puppies were the bomb. Crispy and sweet. Definitely worth a visit!

While our first two experiences left us wondering what all the fuss was about, this latest dinner proved that sometimes good things really do come to those who wait (and keep making reservations). Our party of four settled in with high hopes and rumbling stomachs. Three of us couldn't resist the siren call of the crab cakes, while our fourth companion went rogue with the shrimp and grits. The crab cakes delivered everything you want from this coastal classic--generously packed with sweet crab meat and impossibly light, paired with creamy mashed potatoes that provided the perfect canvas. The shrimp and grits, while delicious, couldn't quite dethrone our reigning champion (Cape Fear Seafood still holds that crown), but they put up an admirable fight. The real showstoppers, however, were the appetizers. My half-dozen Sneads Ferry oysters arrived like little ocean jewels--impeccably fresh, properly briny, with just enough natural sweetness to make you close your eyes and sigh. The mussels swam in a sauce so good I considered asking for a straw, and the calamari managed that rare feat of being both smoky and completely free of any "low tide" funk that plagues lesser versions. Our Sauvignon Blanc proved the ideal supporting actor, crisp and bright enough to complement without competing. The service struck that sweet spot between professional and personable--attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious. The atmosphere isn't quite my cup of tea, but word on the street is they're relocating, so here's hoping the new digs will match the elevated kitchen performance. Sometimes the third time really is the charm. Catch has finally caught up to its reputation.

We had a large group and the server was very attentive to us. My soda cup was super super dirty which was gross. We ordered the Brussels and shrimp for the appetizer and those were PHENOMENAL. Shrimp were so flavorful and the Brussels were some of the best I've had. I got the swordfish as my main and it really wasn't hot. Kind of warm but not really as hot as it should have been. I thought the flavor was good but the portion was a little disappointing for the price. We got some coconut cake for dessert which was super tasty and moist. Mixed feelings but I'd give them another shot!

The wood-fired pizzas are thin crust and are at least 11 inch size, as publicized. For normal-sized stomachs with a little hunger, one pizza will probably be enough, but if you're starving, probably should get two pizzas. They only provide pizzas on their menu. It would be nice if they offered sides, like garlic knots. The Wilson Fill-Ups is $14 and contains marina sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, small bacon bits, and Italian sausage. The River is a basic marinara sauce with mozzarella cheese and costs $10. Both were good and greasy. Each bite is a mouthful of warm stringy cheese. The outer crust was decent tasting-lightly sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The only complaint I have is the bottom of the crust was not cooked consistently. As you can see in the picture, one part of the crust is blackened, whereas the other part of the pizza is the opposite. Also, the Wilson-Fill Ups crust was crispy (slightly), but the River was not crispy. This could be explained by the River being cooked first and waiting for a few minutes in the box until The Wilson-Fill Ups was done cooking.

Can't remember the name but we had a pizza with pepperoni and mushroom. The other was the honey blue Bleu with Muenster, Bleu cheese, chicken and blueberries. Both were delicious! Love the hand tossed crust. They're personal size pizzas with 4 large slices. It's a bit pricey but I think it's worth it for the quality of food you're getting.
