I loved the customer service and great of prices and selection the pizza is! The plain cheese was not that great to me...However, it was the sauce I did not like. I loved the crust!!! I would definitely love to try their specialities!

Before hearing about WilmyWoodie, I only half kidding suggested my friends and I start a pizza food truck, because Wilmington really needed one. I'm sure glad I didn't start my own, because it seems WilmyWoodie would have had me beat by a mile. The truck itself looks super clean and impressive. My pizza was quite good, but I'd like to give the other options a taste test as well. If you try my strategy, you can eat 2 slices and save 2 slices to relive the glory the following day.

Tried this food truck because my dad has been talking about it and it happened to be in Leland this past weekend which is close to us. The outside of the truck is stunning I love the colors and how clean it looks. The staff is also super friendly and inviting. I ordered the Jax Hawaiian which was ham and pineapple. The pizzas are a good personal sized pizzas and easy to take with you anywhere in there small pizza boxes. The pizza was okay nothing too amazing about it, i have had wood fired pizza before and I just wish this one was a little more crunchy. I would definitely try it again and maybe ask for it to be a little more well done.

UPDATE: still one of my fave food trucks. Today's order was the Two Beaches--flavors were balanced but rich, even the crust is delicious.

Had the pizza today in New Bern at a benefit for Alex. It was very good pizza. Crust was very flavorful and had a nice crisp on it. Toppings were very high quality and tasty. There was a huge crowd and it took a while to get a pizza but it was well worth the wait. Everyone was working hard the whole time to get the pizzas made. Great job. I will be on the lookout for anytime you are near New Bern.

This is what pizza should be. Creative ideas, proper preparation, and ideal execution in a food truck that looks (on the inside and out) better than most restaurants.

Had high hopes for this food truck, the first time I had it at Edward Teach it was really good but 2 out of the last 3 times it's looked like this, don't k now how this much carbon is supposed to enhance the taste, nice people just not so nice pizza

I lose my mind every time I see they are doing a pop up at the local breweries or other spots in Wilmington.

The lobster bisque soup was delicious; however, you had to pay extra for lobster chunks to be added. It was $11 without the added chunks. The Mac and cheese was okay. It was $15 and it did have some lobster in it, but it was a it dry. For those three items it was $65. For a food truck meal.

Their food was at a discounted price for the soft opening day. They were serving a whole steamed lobster with butter and lemon, Maine or New England Style Lobster Roll both served on a grilled roll with lettuce, Lobster Bisque, Lobster Mac & Cheese, and sides of corn and chips. If you purchase more of the lobster menu items, then you get a more discounted price.  They had a 15 minute late start opening/taking food orders, but understandly, it was their first day. There was no organized line, but when they were ready to start taking orders, they were nice enough to take my order first since I was the first person to arrive. Generally, England-style lobster roll is served warm with a butter base and a Maine style lobster roll is served cold with a mayo base. I tried the England-style lobster roll. The bread roll was soft, not grilled as advertised and was about 6 inches long. Don't wait to eat this because the roll will get soggy quickly. The lobster roll was good and I devoured it in seconds. It was seasoned just right with a hint of butter. There are additional seasonings you can add to your food, including their own homemade spice, Old Bay, and paprika. I liked their homemade spice, it added a nice kick. I still felt a little bit hungry after eating the roll so I suggest getting at least one side or another lobster roll. If I had to compare to Joe's Lobster Roll and Salty Sistas lobster rolls, I would choose Salty Sistas as my favorite lobster roll. I also tried the lobster bisque. I wished it was more hot in temperature. It was lukewarm when it was served. I did not bother to ask for it to be warmed up because I did not want to wait even longer. The thin pureed consistency of the soup was not what I was expecting. It was not too rich tasting, had a slightly acidic tomato flavor, and had chunks of lobster.  During my visit, they accepted cash only but eventually they will accept credit card. They plan to serve the Wilmington, Snead's Ferry, and Hampstead area.

They gave us a pager buzzer to let us know when our food was ready. My partner enjoyed the Burripleta. The Tripleta was great, it's essentially the same as Burripleta, except it uses bread, not tortilla. They both come with roasted shredded pork, grilled chopped chicken, chopped ham slices, house sauce, and thin potato stick chips. The bread was 6 inches in size and it was so soft. The chicken and pork were very tender. The house sauce is like a remoulade sauce. I couldn't finish the whole sandwich but my partner finished his Burripleta and was full. The tostones were good too but I would have preferred it a little bit more crispy. The Mofongo was excellent. This was my second time trying Mofongo with the first time being in Atlanta, Georgia. The one in Atlanta pales in comparison to this Mofongo. It was so flavorful - a mound of mashed plantains with pieces of fresh roasted garlic. I didn't like the papas locas much so I would skip that next time. All in all, great Puerto Rican food!

It was confusing at first, because this lady was standing still, facing the front of the window where you order. I thought she was in the middle of ordering food so I waited behind her. It took a few minutes to realize this lady was actually working with the food truck and taking the food orders. She also was not very friendly when I asked her a question about the food. Anyway, back to the positive notes, the food! The menu was limited to tacos, fries and drinks (soda, sparkling water). I tried the fries and fried catfish tacos (2 tacos), which came with a crema sauce, coleslaw, lightly seasoned tortilla chips. There was a bottle of salsa, assuming homemade. The salsa was delicious. The catfish tasted so fresh, was tender, and was lightly fried. The thinly cut fries were great, reminded me of McDonald's fries. The whole meal was satisfying, but I wished appetizers were available. This is one of the best food trucks in town! (food, not customer service)
