Miss Angie greeted me with a big smile, and after I mentioned it was my first visit, she took the time to walk me through the entire menu and gave some great recommendations. I ended up going with the burger and cheese fries one of her suggestions and I'm glad I did. The food came out quickly. I'll admit, the presentation didn't wow me at first, but don't let looks fool you. The flavor was incredible! The burger was juicy and seasoned well, and even with cheese on the fries, they still had a perfect crunch. Overall, definitely worth the stop. If you've read other reviews of mine, you know that having hot food served *hot* is a big issue for me. At many restaurants, even high-end establishments, I've been lucky to get food served lukewarm. So the good news at this restaurant is that they serve the food piping hot. One big star for that. The restaurant is also very clean, which I appreciate. Another star. The counter help was very pleasant (half a star) and the menu offerings seem to lean toward pasta bowls, salads, rice bowls, and sandwiches - although nothing is specifically marked as gluten-free, I was able to order food that seemed to meet my needs at a reasonable price (let's call it 1.5 stars). However, for a fast-food test with "Fresh" in the title, I expected all the ingredients to be fresh. I ordered a rice & bean bowl with chicken, which appeared to be cooked fresh (although possibly it was frozen originally), and the green peppers and cilantro rice were good. The mushrooms, however, were clearly canned. I've worked in food service and I can tell a canned from a fresh mushroom from 20 paces. So for that reason, I'm not giving this place 5 stars. Decided to stop in randomly because I've never heard of this place. It's kinda like fast food for seafood lovers. Which I love. Entering its very very neat and clean inside which is always a plus. I decided to order the fried shrimp 12 piece combo, which comes with fries and a drink. You can get them grilled or fried just fyi. But the shrimp were plump and amazing. Ok fast food for seafood. Definitely better than many seafood fast food restaurant. It is a stand alone building with drive thru access. The restaurant good combo meal. Many selection on the menu. It include pasta, sandwich, seafood, salad, chicken, gyro and dessert. I got the seafood combo with tilapia. You can select grilled or fried. I have it grilled. The fish is good. Good piece. I added 10 fried shrimp. The shrimps are big. This is a good combo. It come with fry. Overall is a good experience. If I need something quick, I will come back for the seafood. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now. My kid loves the tenders and I love the salads. The last 5 times we can the service is SNAIL SLOW. The drive there has nobody in it but me and I have been waiting 20 minutes for some tenders and onion rings. It's been this way the last couple of trips. I ordered the steak and rice with shrimp alone with fried fish. The steak was a little tough to the bite and had no flavor at all it taste like it was cooked and served with no season at all. The fish was fried with a nice color but was too soft for me I asked to be cooked well/hard but still came out soft and also not a great taste. Been coming here since we moved here in 2021. Excellent food, place is always spotless, and service is exceptional. Our favorite is 2 fried fish sandwiches for $10! I will be back and I hope this place is around Temple Terrace for as long as I am. Everything I have tried (Basa, Tilapia, Scallops, Wings, Fun Bowls, Philly, and Okra has been superb. Even the fries are extra tasty....The employees have all been super friendly and helpful. I had a million questions and they answered them all - while smiling. It is very clean also. The only thing I was bummed out about was that the website said they had a freestyle machine - but they did not. They said it was having issues so they had to remove it. I hope they get it back otherwise I am not getting any combos. But not the end of the world as I go there for the super tasty food anyways. But they should (hopefully) get it back soon or take it off their website. Typical average quality gyro/burger place, nothing different. The "melted cheese" on the loaded steak fries seemed like nothing but your average canned cheese sauce. The number one ingredient in the food, apparently, is salt. Lots of salt. Oh well, was worth trying. read more
