I've seen adds for this place on social media. I've read reviews which were mixed. I was curious and really wanted to try it myself. I'm guessing many bad reviews because of the interior. I was expecting it to be a decent sized restaurant. I was mistaken. It was very small. It reminded me of an old Chinese food restaurant. The 4 booths that were there to eat in house were either taken or just not cleaned yet. We decided to take our food to go. They had a special for boil combos B & C for $39.99. That is what we decided to get. The food smelled so good from the ride home, to when we opened it. We dumped all of the contents into a huge bowl. It was decent sized portions. The dummy crab seasoning was garlicky and delicious!! There was so much seafood. We couldn't finish it all that night. We did have the rest for dinner the next night. It was still so tasty!! The best part about it was that neither of us got sick the next day. We were worried. Previously we both got sick on a seafood boil from a different restaurant. This was also in a different state. Needless to say, we will be getting seafood from dummy Crabby again!! read more

We stopped by Dummy Krabby and honestly didn't know what to expect, but it ended up being such a good experience. The service was great and the food came out surprisingly fast, especially considering how much we ordered. We went all in and got the family size seafood boil along with an extra order on the side. It came loaded with lobster, Dungeness and snow crab, shrimp (we got them with the heads off), crawfish, sausage, potatoes, eggs, mussels, and clams. It was a feast, and yes, my husband and I ate every bit of it. Everything was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. The woman working there was so sweet and friendly. Before we left, she even gave us a Dummy Krabby fan, which was such a nice touch. It actually came in handy because my husband forgot his fan at home, so he used it on the plane. I absolutely love Dummy Crabby! The Sides Combo is my favorite and comes with 1/2 lb sausage - 3 Corn - 2 eggs and potatoes! It's enough to share or to split into two meals! The Dummy Crabby seasoning is so good and I order it HOT! This combo is less than $12 and you really can't beat that! Small location only about 4 tables so I advise doing to go. read more

Place was super good. A ton of food at a good price. Very small, wish they had beer/wine. 4 booths total and they do a ton of to go orders! Not the best location pretty "seedy" over there but well worth going anyway. Not a ton of parking but we parked In chase bank lot since it was after hours. The food was cold for dine. When I asked to resolve, I was told that because it was seafood sometimes it's not hot. As a person who eats seafood often, that was ridiculous. I'm sure that it's possible that they maybe, good more often then not but at 5:18 PM on 5/7/25 this food was tasteless & cold. I got the D3 combo (without crawfish because they didn't have any). With only one other guest I would have thought the food would be better. The eggs were old as well. I literally left and went to the subway next door. Interesting enough, the one shrimp & mussel I ate was rubbery. If it's cold because you did not want to overcook, why is it rubbery. Whoever suggested this place to me, no more suggestions. I'm so glad I ordered food from here! I got a buy one get one deal on Uber eats so I had to take full advantage. Decided to get combo C with the dummy crabby special seasoning extra hot. So much flavor, such fresh seafood. It was actually a little spicy too. I got snow crab, mussels, crawfish, and shrimp in my bag. Along with two potatoes and one large-ish corn piece. This was my first time here and man I've been craving some crab legs! I highly recommend to try their Dummy seasoning and they will ask you if you what spice you want. I'm a spicy person, but this was my first time so I went with a spice of 6. It was and just the right temp. The shrimp and corn was definitely flavorful as well. I sat at the restaurant. You can order Togo though because seats are limited. They are opened 7 days a week! Next time in Tampa I'll be back since they were recommended! read more

No idea this was a chain. I live in wesley chapel and if you order online the first option is the hillsborough Avenue location. Obviously people order from the wrong spot as at the bottom it says "double check location before you order". I would lead with that or make the default a location close to where you live. $130 dinner with a 10 cent website. You suck. read more

Great and affordable crab boil spot with quick service as our food came out in 10 minutes! They have awesome BOGO deals, were able to accommodate allergies, and lunch is less crowded than dinner. We ordered the combos with the crab legs which were juicy and cooked perfectly to not even need any crackers for the crab. Small space, but worth it to visit. read more

Today myself and family patronize Dummy Crabby 15317 Amberly Dr. Tampa today. Unfortunately my mother got very sick with nausea and vomiting. Have video to prove it. I checked the crab bag that she bought and it had a bad smell. Returned back to Dummy Crabby with my mom's crab bag . And received the worst concern or compassion for my mother's health by the management . I was only able to get her money back after threatening to expose the restaurant for the lack of service we received and how sick she had gotten . Additionally my opinion the all you eat is very over rated and a scam . I don't appreciate being watched while you eat. read more

The customer service and the food were terrific. This was my first experience with Dummy Crabby. I did not know what to expect when the airport rental car would not start on my less than 24 hours in Tampa. I called the restaurant to let them know I would be late picking up my food because I had already ordered and paid for my food. The manager was kind and assured me my food would be fresh when I arrived. Two hours later, we arrived, and my food was cooked fresh and hot, and we sat there and ate. The crab and shrimp were goooood though and I ate them until I couldn't eat them no more. And that's because it was split between two! Both of us ate to the limit and there was still like 8 shrimp, corn and potatoes in there!! Tried this place out for the First time today and I was blown away by the ease of calling in an order for take out with quick and Friendly Service when we arrived for pick up. We ordered the Combo "C" which did not disappoint. After having this Combo we were hooked. I can easily say that I can see myself going back again and again and telling everyone I know to try "Dummy Crabby" because the Food is addicting. I also like that you get a little Privacy from Peering eyes outside if you choose to eat in as the windows are all covered with their Ad. I really Hope that "Dummy Crabby" stays in Tampa and branches out. And I'd like to see even more yummy additions to their Menu. Just Love this place!! Can't say enough about the Food & Service. We visited the Dummy Crabby New Tampa location off Bruce B Downs. Very disappointing. The waitress was slow. She never introduced herself. She never came to our table to check on us so we constantly had to ask the other waiter for help. She would come to our table with other people's orders. It was a mess. When she carried out a bowl of rice she had her fingers in the rice while. She was very inexperienced. The food was average. I've had much better seafood at Mr & Mrs Crab. The crab bowl seasoning tasted more like just grease and not butter or lemon pepper. The mild and medium sauce tasted the same. The crawfish was horrible. The appetizers were cold. The price points were not bad. The other location may be better but I will not be going back. read more

Service was amazing months ago,the last two times we went in the guy in the milf shirt was rude and not clean!!!! Brought the trash can to the dining room to clean tables didn't wash hands and was not worried about Service. AMAZING! First off, the service was excellent. We ordered a door dash pick up order and upon arrival, we were met with wonderful customer service. The girl working the counter was extremely kind and helpful with getting us our order. Despite ordering takeout, the food was hot and fresh. We ordered combination C and it was incredible!
