    4. Six Piece Wings and Shrimp Fried Rice Combo
    Brett N.

Why 4 stars? Because the combination of wings and rice hit the spot. --- --- --- I was sitting around on a Sunday evening, craving some comfort food but not quite sure exactly what I wanted. I planned on searching through the Top 100 Yelp results of restaurants near me that were currently open. As I was scrolling through the list, I'd see some places that seemed moderately interesting, but nothing that was super inspiring. And then, literally #100 out of 100, I see Craft Fry Wing. If the very last result had been something else, I likely would have settled for something I wasn't that excited about or just eaten something at home. But when I saw that I could order a combo or wings + fried rice, I was sold. I'm sure I've seen this on menus in the past, but it struck me as being fairly rare. For my weird craving, I felt like this was the perfect weird solution. I ordered cajun wings and BBQ wings, while my wife ordered garlic parmesan. I started off with a cajun wing and felt like it was fairly bland. But when I tried one of my wife's garlic parmesan wings, I loved it! I already thought the BBQ wings were pretty solid. And the shrimp fried rice was an ideal pairing. Again, why don't more places group wings with rice? I've had better (and bigger) wings, but these were decent enough, especially with the rice. I'd come back again for some more garlic parm.

I came here three days in a row and I have to say before the fool. The customer service is really good. The young man at the front and the cooks in the back are always very pleasant. Not only that the food is good. We have great lemonade and sweet tea and I love that they fry the chicken wings hard. Their sauces are very good as well. There's a reason why I have come three days in a row.

Craft Fry Wing is very good. I stopped by to pick up some food for my family and they really enjoyed their meal. I had 2 pieces of tilapia fish well done and house rice, but no chicken. I ordered for my son 2 chicken tenders, 6 lemon pepper wings and French Fries. My husband had 5 shrimp, 1 piece of fish and fries. I didn't take a pic of my family's food, but my oldest son ordered his before we did and was eating it in the car. The restaurant is a dine in or take out spot. They also have Uber eats if you choose to have delivery. I am not much of a rice eater, but I had some of the rice and ate almost half of my meal. I wanted to try here because my family and I passed by going to Wells Fargo. When ordering, it was only 2 people ahead of me. Once I placed the order and sat and waited for my food, the place was packed. If I had to do it all over again, I would've ordered the Philly Cheese steak. I will definitely be back when we are in town. Oh and "Yelpers" get 10% off of their food total price. I forgot to use mine, but I saved it for next time. :-)

Decided to try this place because of the reviews and was disappointed. Walked in on a Friday afternoon and they weren't busy. Ordered a wing and catfish combo and waited 30 minutes for my order. Definitely suggest calling ahead! I got the garlic Parmesan wings which were seasoned perfectly, but the wings were very small and had barely any meat on them. The fries come unseasoned so I guess you have to season them yourself. The fish was alright, but it was almost half breading and half fish. Extremely disappointed about the quality of the meat and fish. Not sure I'll be back.

It reminds me of a little take out dive In Cleveland Ohio. It's all about the take out orders, you can order on the yelp app, pay via Apple Pay . I did just that and when I got there everyone was calmly waiting for there food. It went by quick almost like being at Starbucks. I wasn't sure what to expect, my food was ready but the girl behind the counter said she made a mistake and wanted to fix it. I went and sat down a few minutes later she called me over and I had two bags of food (I only expected one) I thanked her and drove home opened my bags of food and I was not disappointed!! The seasoning on the wings was not a sauce but dry seasoning it was so good I had to stop myself from eating all the wings, fried rice was delicious super tasty how rice is supposed to taste. The fries were fries and that's that. I will be going here again and it's not even close to my house. I don't care at all it was exactly like being in Cleveland again...Veggie Fried Tender Strips10 Piece Buffalo Wings

It was great to see new kid in the block. The name of the restaurant is sound interesting. This is actually a fast food set up. The six major things they are serving is wings, fish, shrimp, Philly cheese, burger and fried rice. Food price is in the middle of fast food chain. There are three different fish you can choose. Whiting, Tilapia or Catfish. The catfish will have a dollar difference. I got the fried shrimp and whiting for $9.99 which includes the drinks. Ok deal. My wife have the Philly cheese steak and the six wings with teriyaki sauce. Cheese steak is good. The chicken is fried correctly. Not much can said about the food. They are not wow factor but does the job. No standout taste. I do like other than food, you can get specialty drink with boba. We have cappuccino and mango slush. It just need to add the upgrade fees. Overall is good.

All I can say is WOW!!! The reviews did not lie. The wings here are amazing. I consider myself a wing connoisseur and these definitely exceeded my expectations. I'm mad I only ordered six wings. I had the honey lemon pepper wings and they were so good. I also had a juicy boil with shrimp and crawfish which was also very good. I highly recommend

Its the consistency for me i always call in and order ahead - had stomach virus after i ate- i think the sea food is contaminated nothing against the resturant the bible says we are not to eat bottom feeders " But anything in the seas or the rivers that has not fins and scales, of the swarming creatures in the waters and of the living creatures that are in the waters, is detestable to you. You shall regard them as detestable; you shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall detest their carcasses. Everything in the waters that has not fins and scales is detestable to you."

The inside of this restaurant is really clean and the staff was friendly. It only took about 15min from the time I ordered for the food to be ready(order ahead of time). I wish I would have known they don't season the fries ahead of time, like no salt or anything. I did notice they had seasoning outside on a table but I didn't know what for I guess it's so you can season your own fries? I don't know I would have done it but it was my first time eating here for I didn't know. The chicken was fried really hard so if you like that type of chicken then you'll like this place. But it was too hard for me. Overall the food was okay and the customer service was great. Maybe if the fries had even a little bit of salt and the chicken wasn't so hard I would have enjoyed it more.

    Great deals !

This is a good place for lunch, if you can get a lunch deal…read more I ordered online for takeaway. Sadly, there were no lunch deals available with the online ordering system, so my meal was less of a bargain. I ordered a strawberry matcha tea with brown sugar boba and karaage with lo mein. As I was driving over, I received a call from the restaurant informing me that since they just opened that morning, the boba would not be ready for an hour, so I could either wait or switch to popping boba (I chose the latter). Also, the karaage is no longer on the menu, so could they switch to whole wings? Fine. The food was ready when I arrived. It was packaged in styrofoam, and the corners were NOT punched out, so by the time I got home, the chicken was no longer crispy. (Thankfully, I did sample a wing in the parking lot before I drove home, so I can say that the wings are crispy and delicious if eaten immediately.) I had ordered medium spice, and it was spicy! And I like spice! If you are not spice tolerant, go with mild or no spice. My lips are still feeling hot. I thought the food was good, not life changing. Pretty typical Americanized Chinese food plus wings. My matcha tea was on the sweet side and with not a lot of matcha flavor. I wish I could have requested a lower level of sweetness on the online ordering site.

Their fried chicken is the best I've ever had, and the spice levels are actually legit. But my favorite thing on the menu is the peri peri chicken. The peri peri chicken is CRAZY good. It's a South African-style grilled chicken served with fries, and I always get the corn ribs on the side too. The chicken sits on top of a tortilla, which I use to soak up all the juices and eat with the chicken. Even though it's grilled, it's unbelievably moist every single time. It's packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and ridiculously juicy. I seriously cannot get enough of it, and I HIGHLY recommend everyone try it. If it's not the best grilled chicken in Tampa, it's definitely one of the best. And don't skip the sauces. The ranch, blue cheese, and garlic sauce are my favorites, but the peri sauce is delicious too!

We tried this place about a year ago, and we had a completely different experience than before. I can honestly say, I won't be back. Not ever. Not even a chance. This place is filthy. The floors, the tables, the bathrooms (the worst I have ever seen), and even the napkin holders. I had immediate regrets upon stepping in based on the lack of cleanliness. The amount of flies swarming was alarming. The service was a zero. The girl working watched us order at the kiosk, the kiosk wouldn't let us pay, we tell her, and she says "oh it doesn't work." So we ordered with her even though she sat around watching us waste our time. I ordered a wing meal, told her I wanted the wings injected, and she said "we don't inject them. I will give you sauce on the side." The menu clearly says they inject wings, social media videos always show it, and also, my last visit there was also injected wings but she would give me no explanation other than "I will give you the sauce on the side." It was bizarre and I couldn't even get a "we don't do that anymore" from her. We ordered a chicken sando. The quality was horrible. Chicken tasted overly processed with bad texture. We also ordered a wing combo. The wings were flavorless. Absolutely flavorless. I ordered medium and there was zero spice. Not even a tad. Apparently they don't inject their wings anymore so there was no flavor in the wings. The quality was pretty bad. Also, the "sauce on the side" that the girl working promised me was not the sauce I ordered, it was the sauce she chose. The whole ordering experience was odd. Definitely seemed like someone who did not care about providing good service, good food, or a sanitary environment. We waited about 25 minutes for our food. About 3 people came in to get pickup orders while we waited and no one else. So we sat and waited while the flys swarmed our heads. The cashier never once tried to come out and clean the filthy tables. She even paused doing nothing for a restroom break, used the filthy restroom, came out with WET hands, and grabbed a napkin from the dusty napkin holder on the filthy table to dry her hands. Then still never wiped down the table caked with food debris. Absolute terrible level of cleanliness, care, and service. It ruined my appetite. After waiting that long, the Mac n cheese was ice cold. 25 minutes for Mac n cheese with a chill to it and no heat. I'm convinced they pulled it out of the refrigerator and forgot to heat it up. This place just had too many misses: a lack of quality, a lack of good service, and a lack of any sanitation standards. Never again. We didn't finish our food. We threw it away outside.

A bartender greeted me and gave me water. For my drink, I took the chocolate old fashioned (13 dollars). It was strong enough and chocolatly to enjoy. For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog. I am glad I chose this place again as it was near my hotel. Definitely coming back for more great bar food at reasonable prices. Overall: A

Bottom line up front - meh…read more I went here this afternoon after seeing this business highlighted this morning by my local TV station, FOX 13 - WTVT. This is a sports bar that apparently serves wings. And they are supposed to be "famous wings." We will see. It was about 1130 when we got there and I was surprised to see quite a few people already in the place, usually an indication that a place is good. The menu was not too big or too small, another good sign (to me anyway) that they have mastered a simpler menu. I ordered 10 wings, which are quite pricey at $18.49. I chose two flavors, "Hot" and "Spicy Garlic Parmesan." Their menu states that the hot is "very very hot." I can eat heat, so I expected "very very hot." They came out hot (just cooked) and about an average size. But nothing about them smelled like they were "very very hot." They were cooked well, meaning they weren't overcooked or undercooked. They come out unbreaded. I looked them over and one side had Parmesan cheese shreds and the other was also wet. But Spicy? No. The 5 wings that were suppose to be hot tasted like ordinary buffalo sauce with no heat to it. The 5 wings that were suppose to be Spicy Garlic Parmesan were not spicy or garlic flavored. You could taste the Parmesan, but that is it. What a disappointment. Since the server did not come back after the food arrived, there was zero chance to address this, even if I had wanted to. To be honest, I usually won't fight with the server to make something better. I feel that if I get something from the kitchen, that they made my food the way they always make that kind of food. So, my point is that they really suck at making wings with sauce on them. Since this is the first time I've been here, I can't say if this version of their wings is the norm, or a one off. But, I don't live in the immediate area and this is just an ordinary sports bar with mediocre wings, so I likely won't come back. Should you? If you have other options, I'd probably not go out of my way to come here. There are plenty of other places to try. If I was a local and looking for a sports bar, this might be worth a few more visits to see if anything else on the menu is worth it., and to watch sports. They have a ton of TVs and from where I sat I could see no less than 5 TVs. One last note. Charley, the wings at this place sucked. You should be ashamed. I trusted you.
