Walked right in and sat down which was great. I came in for a full set with regular polish. Had told them over text that that's what I wanted but the man had given me gel. I have a decent set but the underneath of my nails are clumpy and one side of my nail has a big piece of acrylic that was never filed or even polished off. I already look like I need a fill 10 minutes coming out of there. My set was super rushed and not a lot of time was put into them. On top of that, a gal had come in with a broken nail not too long after having them done (that's a bad sign to me) and the gentleman was working on her while also doing my set. The lady was practically hanging over my shoulder and my butt wasn't even out of the seat to leave before she filled it. Just added more on to that rushed feeling that I come to escape from. I find more and more spots missing polish as the day passes. Bummed that the set was quite expensive and they turned out like this. Probably won't return again. Was so excited as I see they always post beautiful work they post on Instagram. I guess if you're getting intricate nail art they will take their time on your set and ensure that it's perfect for photos. I also had a friend come with to get a pedicure, and they sat him in old, cold water. He had to request to be moved to a seat that didn't already have a tub filled. read more

I love to come and get my nails done at this location but lately on my last two visits, I haven't gotten the best service that I'm used to. I was overcharged for a not so nice looking full set. I went in to get a new set & was told that they'll need to remove my nails. As the nail tech was removing them, I let him know that I had hurt my nail earlier through out the day expecting him to be gentle. He was so rough while removing that he hurt my already injured nail, and pulled them off with no remorse. I constantly told him that it hurt but he kept going. Not to mention the amount of time he spent filing on my atleast thin to Non existent nails. I'm sure there are better ways of removing acrylics other than tearing your natural nails off. I used to come here often. At first it was because the work was so good but they were a little pricey. For literally the last year they haven't figured out how to properly do any of the nails that I've asked for. Well yesterday was the worst experience of them all and i will NEVER GO BACK! I asked for a medium set with ombré powder. She was going to charge me $80 for. I thought that was ridiculous because i know all of the other shops are cheaper than them. But they started my nails before she would give me the price( i asked about 4 times before she added any powder to my fingers). The owner finally comes over and tell me the $80. I decided i didn't want them which is what i told the tech before, I don't want them if it's too expensive that's why I'm asking for the price so many times so she didn't have to cut them all off for a crazy price. So i asked them to remove what she had done and just do my pedicure. The tech got upset because i asked for the tips and the one nail with acrylic to be removed. She proceeds to take the nail scissors and tried to cut them off aggressively and cuts my fingertip on the first finger she went to remove (my pinky nail). So instead of acting how i wanted, i left. But i wanted to do a lot more for injuring me due to her mistakes. So this is how i left when she cut me. Absolutely terrible service. I got a pedicure and a manicure and the lady burnt my leg with the hot stone. I saw on yelp they specialised in designs so when I asked the lady to do a web design she did it and it looked terrible. When I asked her to wipe it off and just do a plain black nail she gave me attitude and just did a rushed job putting a new layer on my nail resulting in such a mess. She then did my hands and they were terrible as she didn't go to the edges and when I tried to point it out to her she said she would get to it but still didn't. I asked another lady to wipe them off as it was terrible work and she said she would only give me a $10 refund on the $60 I spent. After realising they over charged me anyways because a manicure and pedicure should have only been $50. I'm absolutely appalled with how they reacted to me as the original nail tech threw the money at the table I was on shouting all kinds of words which I'm assuming wasn't nice as her tone was bad but she was speaking another language so I'm not sure what she was exactly saying about me. Personally I think this place is an OK job if you just want to do a walk in. I'll go to one of the nail techs here and scheduling is quite literally impossible. Every time I make an appointment it seems as if they don't even write it down so I never have an appointment when I show up and then I have to be rescheduled to come at a different time. This nail shop is HORRIBLE. Well I take that back the lady who did my pedicure, wasn't the greatest. I asked for a pedicure, with an acrylic on the toe. The lady told me no I didn't need a fill in, it looked fine. She proceeded to paint my toes. When she polished with the first coat it was easily noticeable that I needed a fill. She said "Oh no after the 2nd coat it'll be fine". It looked even WORSE!!!!! It needed to be removed. She then filled my toe in, and she did not fill or paint all the way to the cuticle. So when I was finished, it looked like I needed my toes done all over again. It looked as if my nails were grown out, and I was coming in to get a fill. I left. Once I got to the car I realized how bad it looked. Whoever the lady is that sits close to the front desk, fixed it and she was very nice. Either way I won't be back! read more

Do not go if you are looking for anything more than a basic pedicure or manicure. This was my second visit. First time I got a pedicure and it was fine. Just had basic one color. I went in today at 5:30 to get a full set and ended up leaving at 8pm with nails that do not look like the picture that THEY posted on their website. Before even starting I asked if they could do it and they said yes. I didn't complain since I felt bad for the worker that ended up staying an hour after they closed working on my nails. He was nice and tried his best, but definitely not trained to take on this type of nail art. When I tried to question things throughout the process like adding more glitter or the black lines he said ok but it didn't happen. When it came to the end another women told me my nails were to short to do the black lines to make it look like it's dripping. Even though mine are just as long as the picture. Also, I'm missing elements of the design like the stars next to the moon and the paw prints. For the $90 I paid I will not be going back. read more

I've been to a few nail shops since moving out to AZ and just when I thought I had found the one, I was incredibly let down. I took to old faithful yelp for help in finding a new place. First things first, I called to schedule an appointment and the woman who answered the phone was so pleasant to speak with, I set my appointment for the following day and she followed up with a thank you and addressed me by first name and told me she'd be ready to see me tomorrow. I instantly felt good about my appointment. I always wondered after giving my name for an appointment at a nail place if the name even got to the appointment book. I arrived the next day to my appointment earlier then I had anticipated and was greeted by a nice woman who checked me in and said it'd be about 5 minutes to set me up. Oh, and she addressed me by my name, it did get written down. Low and behold it really did take LESS than 5 minutes. I didn't even get a chance to soak in how amazing this nail salon looked. I was greeted by my manicurist who did an amazing job on my gel pedi, they end the massage with heated up stones, so amazing!! I'm a cuticle picker and was hesitant to get a fresh set of gels on my finger nails because of the shape my cuticles were in, my manicurist assured me she'd be careful. I felt really good about the sanitation and cleanliness of the place, which made my decision a bit easier. She did an an amazing job on my manicure and hand massage. Left feeling super relaxed from a hectic work week. The reason for the 4 stars is because she didn't allow enough time for my gel pedi to cure and some of my nails look opaque. Went in today and had the #2 pedicure...all I can say is WOW Amazing!!! I had the gentleman; I give him TEN Starts. The best world class pedicure I have ever had! If you have circulation issues, pregnant, have tired legs and feet or just need an amazing relaxing massage you need to get to this place today. I haven't had a pedicure since covid...so over a year and a half. Came to Fresh Nails and when walking in, they have you sign a covid waiver and wash your hands. Masks are required as well. The salon was pretty busy when I came in (11am on a Tuesday) but they had seated me within minutes of arriving. My pedicure was great and much needed! I saw an employee wiping down and sanitizing the spa chairs once a customer got up from it. I only wish I had time do my nails at the time. Side note, they only take cash tips so come prepared. I watched more than 3 pedicure techs go to the back counter with dirty tools, WIPE off with towel, put directly into a blue "sterilization bag" then pick up and take to the next chair for the new client!!!! Never cleaned the instruments or put in the sterilizer !!!!! They simply put the dirty tools back in their lil black work box and moved on to next client!!! FUNGAL INFECTION! If I could give no stars I would. It was my second time going to this place and the first time the experience was great! The experience the second time was not great and the results were awful. It was very busy but they did have a lot of staff. We still waited 45 minutes to get started and then the customer next to me waited longer than that with her feet soaking before anyone even got working on her. My sister was left waiting half way through her manicure and her manicure was done by 4 people, as each one moved on to work on someone else. She had to explain to the next person where the last one had left off. I wonder if they were not regular staff, regulation tools or equipment. I ended up with a fungal infection on my toe that I am still dealing with weeks later. I will not be going back again at all. It is disgusting and embarrassing since it is summer and open toe shoes is what I mainly wear. Afterwards when I went online to the State Board website I find that it's labeled as Fresh Nails & Spa LLC license being delinquent. I am not really sure what that means but it doesn't sound good! read more

They did such a sh***y job on my nails, they made 3 of them way too long and the other two were so short it was noticeably uneven on both hands. They were lumpy and when she put the top coat on, you can see all the brush strokes and she missed the sides. She rushed so bad. Can we say ALL FOR SHOW?! So disappointed with how they're running this salon during the pandemic! Called to make an appointment & was told they had plenty of availability-just come on in. It was fairly early Saturday morning. Was pleasantly surprised at all their signage when walking in: wait in car for your appt/masks are required at all times/6 feet apart, etc. Was told to wash my hands as soon as I walked in & was seated for my pedi right after. I was given a waiver to sign for Covid at this point as well. Waited about 20 minutes in my chair before someone came over. In that time a rush of people came in. The lobby had become stand up room only & every seat in that salon was now filled. No separation at all. What was worse was seeing how many of these women decided removing their masks was simply ok. I watched at some remove their masks entirely in front of their technicians. Children were walking around being bored with their masks dangling on their side ear. Nothing was being enforced by anyone in this salon. The signs, the waivers, the "wash your hands" were all for show! Will not be stepping back in this salon ever. read more

However, the last time I went in I got a full set and a good amount of the nails are very clearly different lengths and she filed the edges of my nails so there wasn't even any polish on it. Here in December 2020. Thought I would give it a second try. I brought my five year old in. Everyone here is just rude. They ask "do you want this do you want that" and when you answer no they just talk shit laugh and roll their eyes. It's annoying to come to a place where the customer service sucks. Not coming again. Pissed I came a second time. My fault. It's the shit talking for me 2/2020 This place does a good job, however they don't do what you want. They're not rude, but they're just not friendly if that makes sense. I go here because it's close to my house and the place is nice but I just can't go anymore. Me and three others are no longer going to go back! Please listen when I say that they will not doo what you want. I showed them the picture of what I wanted and didn't get it. I tried to stop them six times and still did what they wanted. I don't understand why it is so hard to listen to what the customers want. A smile on their face wouldn't hurt either. Lady doing my toes didn't understand all 4x what color I wanted for my toes. Grrr whatever. Lady fixing my nail messed up the color 3x. Then after she was done I looked at the nail... This place has been a heaven send for me! I have tried several different nails salons and none can surpass the quality and customer service provided at Fresh Nails and Spa. The establishment itself is by far the most beautiful place and most importantly it is a very sanitary shop! Lin always does a phenomenal job and always engages in conversation with her clients. I have to say, the thing that always keeps me coming back (even after moving to the other side of town) is the warm and welcoming feeling that the staff shows. I've grown to know them personally and i'm sure there are plenty others that can say the same. In short - they are always quick but never fall short of quality, they provide a truly great customer service experience and are dedicated to serving those who are loyal.
