My daughter goes to college in Phoenix. She went to Chi Nails today and was so happy with her SNS. She said Tim did her nails and was great!! The staff was all very nice. She doesn't have a Yelp acct but wanted to make sure to acknowledge how great they were.

Went and gave this show a second change and it was the worse mistake I've made. I left there with my nails looking like an episode of Botched. Andy who did my nails keep talking all this stuff about the nail tech who did my nails at a different location. Taking a bout how they are so much better. Yet my nails weren't cleaned up left all this extra polish on my cuticle. The only good thing was my design but even then I asked the lady to do two fingers yet she only did one. I was so annoyed because they don't listen to what you want. I just wanted to get out of there. Never going back again.

This place is so nice to go to when you're in need of winding down. The staff here always makes you laugh, and makes you feel at home. When I walked in today, my roommate and I got offered water, which was exactly what we needed from being in the heat for so long. We also got sat down immediately, which is nice since we both came in for full sets. I luckily got seated by Tim, who is by far my absolute favorite when it comes to nails. He just genuinely loves doing his job, and makes sure you know that he is treating your nails with love. I absolutely love my nails, and I have gotten every kind of length here. Today I just happened to get them short. Will always come back here!!

Great place to get your pedicures done, if you really need one. Went in to get dip powder manicure on natural nails as well. They have a good selection of colors. Unfortunately they don't have colors that match for your pedicures. Nevertheless, my nails were super chunky. And I was cut 5 times. When saying something about it I was just told that it was due to the machines being too new or they were too busy or my hands too dry. Not an apology or anything in sight. I had to ask for alcohol in order to be able to disinfect prior to leaving the establishment. Definitely do not recommend going in.

The inside of this salon is inviting. It is wide open and very clean. The place seems fairly new. I was greeted immediately and offered a bottle of water. I went in for a pedicure, and a callous remover. The gentlemen did a good job and the hot stone foot rub was a big bonus. He didn't speak English, but it was fine as he did a good job. I was a little surprised to get the bill for $30, a tad on the higher side for a basic pedi/callous remover but not ungodly high. If I was in the area I would return but I wouldn't add this to my normal rotation.

So I was confident until I looked down at my uneven raggedy nails and I'm thinking what in the world is this. Bruh! This guy was in the first chair so I am shocked that my nails look this terrible they are uneven and bumpy and yes I am bleeding because he broke the skin when he filed on the side. I don't like the shape and I take responsibility for the shape and the color, but basic nail technician skills would have been able to clean up the shape and form my nails properly. This is pathetic and awful. I saw that most of the recent reviews are five stars but y'all lying, I have been bamboozled. I will not return and I am going to another nail salon tomorrow to get this BS fixed. What a waste of $45. Also, I would like to mention that I did not complain to the nail technician and when he asked me if everything was fine I didn't say anything and kept quiet. The reason being, the first time anyone complains, says anything negative, or is direct and curt, it's always perceived as confrontational and belligerent being a woman of my stature. And anyone can deny it, but I refuse to be judged so I politely paid, left and took chose the passive aggressive approach and I am leaving my review and will handle it my way. I will never create a scene in front of other customers.

THE SERVICE I RECEIVED!!! They made me PAY FOR IT.

I would not recommend someone to come to this Salon at all. I asked for regular manicure such a simple request. They told me that i have to pay prior the service. After paying and adding a tip they started scratching my nails cutting my cuticles so harshly to the point I was bleeding!! I did not say anything till she start shaping my nails and was shaping them in weird ways. I asked her to shape them just NICELY she started screaming that I am being so picky and the manager came to me telling me that "we refuse to service" and literally kicked me out. It was obvious that they did not want to complete the service since the beginning!! I asked for a refund and they refused too!! This is literally a fraud since they were planning on not completing the service since the beginning I am so NOT satisfied with this place. NEVER coming again.

Worst salon I have ever been to. The manager can NOT do nails right. Kept talking about this is quality work, but it was terrible. AND it's so expensive I spend $130 on the worst set of my life. If I can give a 0 star I would. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he said it was supper easy. The shape is different on every finger, and he cut my finger 3 times. Worst place to go to.

First of all the guy did not even try to copy the picture. Like I understand it's detailed but as a nail artist, I expect you to at least be able to draw a straight line. He was rude and would yell at me to not move when I was just shaky that day. I got these done yesterday and my fingers are still irritated and bleeding. I went in for a fill on their work, and this rank set still cost $65.

My ingrown toenail that is now missing much of the toenail it had before going here.

This is ridiculous and I'm furious I arrived at 6:20pm I was told I would be waiting for 30minutes and I agree to wait, 9:30pm and my toes were horrible and I had to ask the lady to redo my toes, this is why I'm done with oriental nail salons. read more

Absolutely love this place! Second time here and the all staff here are perfectionist! They actually take their time and make sure all the callus is removed lol. The music playlist is on point as well lol. I live in Mesa, but come here to Phoenix to get their service! So worth the drive!! read more

DON DON DON I won't schedule with anyone else. His massages are mental health felt! He cares about the pressure points, always making sure you're good and satisfied through our service . Terrible. This is the third time I've come here. My finger is infected from their dirty tools. He over filed the sides of my coffin shape nails, which caused open sores. He also over filed my cuticles and made me bleed on two of my nails... I should have spoken up, but I didn't. I paid $60. I love the set, so pretty. But this infected finger has me worried. The carelessness has me worried for others seeking a nice nail appt. They DO NOT use clean tools. I would recommend going somewhere else. read more

atmosphere was a great vibe and it was very nice staff. i got just a gel manicure with white and glitter. they checked with me multiple times to make sure i liked how it looked & i ove how my nails turned out. very good price also it was only 30$. definitely coming back. read more

My girlfriend has gone here fairly often & today was the last time. The owner not only was rude to her during service but did not provide the requested service in the end. Over priced, rude & negligent owner also hurt her 3 times! Unacceptable. Do not go here & support a small business instead. read more

Found my new nail place. Very clean and organized. They have soft music to make you relax. Offer water too. The owner Tim is awesome. Takes care of his clients to the fullest. Their prices are great and what you get is worth it. I feel so refreshed after I leave here. Staff is very helpful as well and work together as a team. I got a fill today and my pedicure was with fresh sliced oranges. So happy I come here. If you are looking for a new nail place I suggest you come here! read more

EDIT: had to update my review bc i stopped coming here after the head male tech (Tim?) made me feel uncomfortable, sharing his opinions on my color and nail choice and being condescending. It's happened on multiple visits, I left feeling talked down to. I cancelled my last appt bc i had anxiety before i even went. Stopped getting my nails and pedi done bc they would always comment on my skin (i have sensitive skin and let them know not to use lotions, heat etc). Last pedicure was terrible and they cut too short, acrylic nails were ripped off and tore my real nails even tho the point was to grow them out to do sns. Wow i am not coming back!! Does not feel good, please do better. read more

I went here because of how high the overall rating was but I really don't understand how. I went here for a pedicure with my boyfriend who got a manicure. The man I got took so much nail out of big toes that I ended up getting an ingrown toenail in one of my toes. My toes were normal before. I didn't stop him because he told me that he was removing what I needed to have removed even though now I realize that I didn't. Then once he started painting my toes, he completely painted a huge part of my toe, not nail. My boyfriend got a basic manicure just to clean up his nails and by the time they were done, one of his nails was bleeding. I'm attaching a photo of my toe problem because of this place. This was my first manicure and pedicure. I arrived and was seated right away. The service was good. Price was decent. But I have a cut on my tow, a friction burn on my foot. And the cuticles and sides of my toes and fingers were cut as well with blood ending up embedded in the polish on one finger. When my nails were put under the UV light it burned. So while i appreciate the service and price I can't give a good review because of the damage. read more

my idea of a good afternoon typically would not be spent waiting in a nail salon chair for almost 2 hours before I was seen. Today I did exactly that at Chi Nails. Unfortunately I cannot say it was worth the wait. Along with the wait, we were asked to pay before service... which is always a red flag for me. i'll give them the benefit of and say the employees were trying their best to help everyone. Maybe they were just understaffed? read more

I am in love with my nails. TIM did a great job. The people that say he doesn't let you choose your nails are wrong. He knows what he's doing and he suggests options. I chose my nails all the way through. He suggested different stones but I went with mine. They turned out exactly how I wanted them to. He was very honest and we talked the whole time. He makes sure you enjoy your time there. My friend and I had a blast laughing at all his jokes. The nails feel good. Nothing was left tender and I was treated with care. My cuticles were left perfect, no cuts. This will be my go to nail place FOR SUREE ! read more

Salon is nice looking, my nails look fine but the service was just okay. I came in for a full set and was told I could be seen in a couple of mins. I was greeted with a hello and a small water bottle (very nice) and was asked if I wanted a pedicure as well. I declined. At least 2 other people came to me and asked if I wanted a pedicure which was very annoying. I came in and asked for what I wanted. I understand upselling but I don't want to be hounded right when I walk in the door. I was waiting for the nail tech to finish up with a customer. When the nail tech asked the customer to wash her hands I was instructed to sit in the same seat. She came back and looked at us like "ok I guess we are done". It was awkward. The customer asked if her nail service included a hang massage. The nail tech said no and then a guy came over and explained that it was included. They all went back and forth and I thought to myself... "in the amount of time it took you to banter back and forth you could have been done with a hand massage. Just saying... I really didn't like that the guy nail tech proceeded to talk about the customer to a different customer he was servicing. Very unprofessional. My nails came out okay. I like that the look pretty natural. However after my nails were painted I was given the option to sit and let them dry. I guess they really wanted to go home. I got in my car and immediately wrecked the polish on one of my nails. I came back in and showed the tech the issue. She proceeded to paint over the smudged and bumpy nail. I told her that it looked bad and she reluctantly repainted them. I won't be back. The place is not that bad they just need to work on some things. read more

Came in after reading great reviews. Kim assisted me. I didnt have to wait at all. I got gel acrylics full set. I was a bit confused that they didn't cut my cuticles as I'm use to my other salon doing that. I guess it's not included nor is a hand massage, again my other salon has done that for me. I paid $43 with Tip. My nails look nice cute and short and simple. Kim suggested the sns technique. I'm pleased with my nails I just feel like $40 is kind of pricey considering my salon I go to frequently only charges me $30. The place was clean and very big and open. The color selection was great also..many to choose from. read more

Walked in and asked me what I wanted. Seen similar pictures on their page and wanted something alike. Time of day was in the afternoon with not that people. I enjoyed the conversation I had with the person doing my nails. Gave me a discount as a student and asked for an accent on my ring finger. Will come again! read more

This was my second time getting them done in one day from them, an they still rushed and it messed up! Cindy allowed me to walk out NOT satisfied! Workers are extremely rude to customers and always give me an attitude. The entire facility smells and the floors are disgusting and dirty, it looks like they never clean. Do not go here under any circumstance. read more

Around 3:47, Tara popped her head out and let me know she'd need about 7 more minutes, which was completely understandable. However, it ended up being closer to 15 minutes. Around 4, she came out with her previous client, checked her out, and booked her next appointment before bringing me back. I totally understand that appointments can run over, and things happen, but I felt like there wasn't much acknowledgment of the delay or consideration for my time. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere else I needed to be, but if I had, it could have been frustrating. I think what stood out to me most is that if I had shown up 15 minutes late, I likely would have been charged a fee or asked to reschedule. I believe that same respect for clients' time should go both ways. With that being said, I probably won't be back. The space was beautiful and the shop was cute though.

I love this place. Like any artist, they need freedom to work and be creative with their ideas. I've come in 9 out of 10 times and let them have at it. Very few times do I request something I've had on my mind, but they will do their best to add their spin with my idea. Not only are they great workers but their materials are the best. My work environment required extreme labor and strength that these babies would not chip or fall off. Attached will be a few of the sets they've done that I've saved over the years. read more
