Every time I've been there I've had a really great experience. It's very clean, the staff are friendly and the therapists are top notch. Vivid does a really nice job of being unlike the other day spas in the east valley. 1. There's nothing corporate or salesy about the experience. I find myself constantly irritated by the upsell, and marketing that the majority of other day spas in Gilbert and Chandler try to push on their clients. If I'm getting a massage I want to relax, not listen to your sales pitch about joining your member club etc. 2. The whole experience from reception, to service, to payment made me feel welcome. The relaxed professionalism of the staff reminds me of higher end spas I've been to around the country. 3. They offer services that are uncommon for chandler/gilbert, and this makes the day spa experience much more interesting. I found Vivid through groupon's now-deals a few months ago, and despite being close to home I would have never known they were there. The office was confusing to get to.... there aren't any signs from the road and it's in the middle of a little complex.

There was no apology for the inconvenience. The service itself did not meet expectations. My eyebrows were not done well and I had to fix them myself at home. My lash extensions began falling out the same day, and within 3-4 days most of them were gone. Some lashes were poking my eye and the glue caused irritation and burning. When I reached out, I was initially told I could come back in, but I was unable to get a response when trying to schedule. After multiple follow-ups, communication was inconsistent. At no point was there a clear acknowledgment of the inconvenience or outcome of the service. No apology. I paid $175 including tip and did not receive results that lasted more than a few days. She did give me a partial refund back. Based on my experience, I would not recommend booking here.

The hair strokes are perfectly crisp and in line with the natural patterns of your brows. She uses tons of tools and geometry to map your face and demonstrate options for how your natural brows can and should lay. Over the years I've worked with her, she has given me everything from straight K-pop brows to sexier arched shapes. No matter what, I know I'm going to walk out looking great and trust her judgement completely. I've also been really impressed by how she pushes herself to grow and get better by constantly pursuing brow technique training and working in mentorship programs. Pain -- I'm a baby and many aspects of microblading make me weepy. She has changed her methods over the years and they are now completely painless -- and if a sharp stroke sneaks through, she's great at along a break to do a check in with you and wait until you're ready to move forward. Service -- Service is everything. Lauren is the kind of person you want to return to again and again just because she's such a pleasure to talk to. Our convos range from the superficial (best tv shows) to heart-to-hearts about our families -- and most of all, she's kind. You'll never find snark or gossip in her shop.
