My visit was a Sunday at 4pm. The salon itself is nice. The customer service is lacking a bit. I initially went in for gel manicure. While my gel was soaking off, the lady next to me was getting the SNS dip powder. It looked so cool and she had great things to say, I decide I wanted to try. My technician however didn't actually listen to me so she was really shocked when I said a third time I didn't want gel. I then had to switch technicians which felt like they were inconvenienced by. My next gal Van didn't actually speak to me while doing my nails until the last 5 minutes other than stating half way through what the new price would be. I thought that was a little weird instead of before starting. The nails are mediocre at best. A little thick and chubby looking for my taste. I asked her to thin them down with the dremal and she told me she couldn't. I won't be back. I'll just keep driving to tempe. I was just looking for a salon close to home. The staff was all extremely friendly from the moment I stepped through the door. I got a pedicure and a full pink and white ombré set and my brows. Kim is the wonderful woman who did my nails. Great place! Not overpriced at all, I sent them a message Sunday morning and they were able to get me in the same morning! The salon is clean, sanitized, smells nice & fresh when you walk in. Everyone is very friendly and attentive to you the moment you walk in the door. I got a full set & pedicure, & I was in love! The shape of my nails was perfect, he listened to what I wanted and delivered. I got my pedicure done by a different woman that was very gentle; even massaged my legs & feet with hot towels, hot rocks and lotion.. all on a basic pedi. Used to be my "go to" because of the location. Quit after finding a salon that stood behind their work...customer service is a challenge here. Asking folks to wash their hands when they walk through the door before signing in...is frankly a good idea in my opinion. I know many seem to be bothered by that and I get the brusk-ness with how they command you as soon as you step through the door. With gas prices, time considerations and price increase at my "favored" salon I decided to give them another try. My pedicure although a bit aggressive turned out great. Sitting there I was struck by the confirmation of the recent reviews on here...if you are bothered by or have trouble standing up for yourself and sticking with what you want, the value and general quality here is great. If you can't bypass the up-sale tactics do NOT go to this salon. Without fail every single person in my row of pedicure receivers...no matter which carefully spelled out option you choose they will point out what you will get if you choose the next number or the one after that Buyer beware for up charges in gel, dip, etc. they push for these too! A simple eyebrow wax, even though I clearly have no sideburns, lip or chin hair they ALWAYS ask if you want this done as well I would think twice about going back here if my pedicure doesn't hold up for more than a couple of weeks. Salons sometimes use new products that are not up to par, that don't hold up, which happened at this place when I used to go there. They did not stand behind their product or the work. This is my new favorite salon! I had my eyebrows waxed on my first visit and they did a beautiful job. I just had a full gel set done and I couldn't be happier with the results. My nails are perfectly shaped, manicured and painted. They take the time to make sure they are perfectly even at every angle and smooth. I would love to give this nail salon a better review only because everyone else had a nail tech who was friendlier and more accommodating. My only concern is with nail tech Phong. My friend scheduled an appointment at 6:30pm for the both of us, we arrived on time and still waited to be attended. We understood that it was busy and didn't make a fuss and waited for a nail tech to be available. My concern is that all suggestions on how I wanted my nails to Phong were denied. I was even told that what I, (the paying customer), wanted was ugly. I didn't talk back to any of his remarks. I asked for sns he said okay when I told him I wanted a french tip he said okay and asked me to choose color for nail. I was trying to explain what I wanted but he was getting agitated and frustrated repeating the same question over. He would nod his head no in disagreement of what I wanted on my nails. Which was a simple brown french tip. Finally he told me to just get gel nails and that he could do french tip with the color I originally wanted. I was so bothered that I didn't care to look at my nails when ever he would ask if they looked okay. He was trying to do everything so rushed that he had to start over on my right hand. I still left with air bubbles in my nails either way. What sucks the most about this experience is that I came here to get my nails done for my civil wedding ceremony and at the end of the day, even with appointment scheduled, I received horrible service from someone who just wanted to do whatever he wanted and to clock out. It sucked because everyone else had nail tech's who were friendly and would try to accomodate or understand what their client wanted. My client just wanted to get the hell out of there. If you're reading this Phong you were extremely rude and don't think someone wants to have a conversation with you about their place of origin when you've given them such bad service and told them that what they want is ugly. I came here 3 days ago and paid $75 pedicure Brian I believe is who did my toes and left me with a polish job that looks grown out/ not covering my full nail and an INFECTION FROM DIRTY MATERIALS. The pain was the next day from my toe and I waited a few days to see if it was just sore since I haven't had a pedicure in awhile but it got worse with puss and very painful. Had to go see a doctor for the infection and was told no ingrown nail was there just an infection from dirty material. I will not be returning due to uncleanliness product and material. I've been going here for the past 2 years, all has been great. But my last 3 visits (including today) have been less then expected. I typically get a mani/pedi, but the last three times, it's like the person who took care of me would rather be anywhere but there. The water was cold, not very easy with some of the sharper tools, her own nails scratching and pinching me on several occasions. In audition, getting one of the upgraded packages and receiving very little, in fact none of the extras and very little of the original packages items. It's as though as since I'm male, I don't get the rest of it? When I'm fact I've been going there and just recently had things fall apart. Most of the people have been great there, just the one they give me the last 3 times, oh, and my favorite. In the middle of one session, she stopped to go get her lunch that was being delivered and then left me there as she went to eat. Just sitting there. I won't be back. They usually do such awesome work but be weary because you don't want to come here if they're in a rush. A man was prepping my nails and we decided to take them off, he literally did so.. with no soak off option. This led to me stopping my services because how rude he was (sarcastic remarks along with no apology/eye contact). A nail tech next to him was incredibly apologetic and sweet because she buffed out my broken nails and cleaned up my cut so it won't get infected and said to come back to only see her. Came here for the first time since my normal nail places were packed. Saw they had good reviews so came for a manicure for me and a pedicure for my teenage son. Keeps the ingrowns away. We were separated so couldn't talk during the services. My nails were ok, but I was getting angry with how many times they asked me if I wanted gel. They asked me when I first told them I wanted a regular manicure. Then asked me again when I sat down. Then asked me again as she was doing my nails. When I said no for the third time, she said, "Are you sure, it lasts longer?." No!! I was only getting clear on my nails, why would I want gel? When a customer says no 3 times, just stop asking! Then when my son was done, he said the lady cut his nails wrong (angled at the edges which is the number one thing they always tell you NOT to do) and filed too close/hard on the skin, which rubbed places on his toes raw. Now a couple weeks later he has a major ingrown on his second toe (which has never happened before, we're usually checking his big toes) due to how his nails were cut. To top everything off, they only accept cash tip. There is no option to add it to your card like 99% of businesses. Instead, if you don't have cash, they want you to use the ATM machine that they conveniently have in their store. I'm not going to pay a fee from my bank AND their machine just to tip them all because they want to get around the cost of doing business. No tip for them and after the issues we had, they didn't deserve one anyway. We will never go back to this place. read more

RUN! If i could leave a no star rating, believe me i would. The service was HORRIBLE, there was no customer that came in & left satisfied. They will screw you over, honestly. the prices were not uniform and they will charge you not based on their advertised prices. We had 4 people come in and were excited as it was our first time but right off the bat you could tell there was a lack of organization and employees that were just as upset as the customers so the vibe wasn't great but we stayed bc we had a reservation but our nails did not turn out how we asked and once we told them, they blamed it on us for "not having the right nail shape" We tried to discuss it w/ them in a but they were getting upset with us for not "understanding" how buisness works and there was nothing they could do and shoved it in our faces that they took the time to "fix" or nails and how it turned out well and it was just a whole mess . They overcharged us and made it our fault for everything that happens. I did not see one satisfied customer at entrance or exit and there was atleast one outburst between the customer and employees per 30 minutes. NEVER COMING BACK & IM TELLING YOU. DONT. GO. Horrible! This is the first and last time that we come. The prices advertised are not correct (added fees). Our scheduled appointment was not respected, we had to wait. One of the nail sets that we got was horribly done. When we brought up our concern, another employee fixed the nails but was giving a bad attitude. The manager said that the nails were not properly done due to us having short nails. However, if the nails were too short for the design, they should have told us beforehand. Was disappointed in the pedi, the tech didn't really seem to take the time to ensure dry skin was removed and when I left my feet were not as soft as they've been after having a pedi at other locations, paying the same. She also did not really cut my nails short, even though she asked me and I confirmed I wanted them cut down. I've been making appointments to see her only. This review has nothing to do with her work. It's the people that are making the appointments. For the last 4 months I have had to wait at least 35 minutes to an hour. I called days in advance to make appointments. I understand if I have to wait 10-15 minutes, but when they take walk-ins before people that have made appointments that's just bad business. Fresh Nails you have lost a loyal customer. Typically I don't like to give bad yelp reviews, but this was a little excessive. I was really looking forward to trying this nail place out since a few of my friends recommended them. The first day I tried to get my nails done here I did a text to schedule an appointment. Upon arrival I was told that I would have a 15 minute wait. I decided that it was too crowded and then I would just come back the next morning at an earlier time. After I came back the next morning I finally got my nails done. Although the staff was very kind, my manicure was aggressive. At least three of my fingers were cut in the process and I was bleeding and the filing hurt at different points as well. I typically don't have this problem ever. After my manicure was finished, there was acrylic stuck to my skin everywhere. My nail technician, although kind, left acrylic all over and I had to go home and disinfect my fingers because of the blood and the acrylic that was stuck everywhere on my fingers.
