I have been going to fresh orthodontics for the last two years with both my children. We had yet to start the braces process, but came for regular consultations. Unfortunately, this place is absolutely impossible to deal with. I have been asking at every visit for a price breakdown of what braces would cost . I was told they would send me something via email in the next day two . However, 2 years later, I still never received a cost breakdown. I was told that my daughter needed to have oral surgery. The oral surgeon needed a referral from the orthodontist. This took no less than 10 phone calls and then finally two in person visits over the course of three weeks to get a simple referral sent to the surgeon for what they had asked me to do. It is so hard to get people on the phone. I'm glad to say I went to another location down the street and we got more done in our 30 minute appointment then I got done at fresh in two years. The orthodontist himself seems very nice but the administration and staff and fresh are incompetent. read more

Truly awful experience. We paid up front. They canceled our service before it was completed because we posted an internet comment about scheduling problems (yes, this is true). Then they refused to refund us for incomplete work unless we sign an NDA and straight up kept our money. So if you go with them, be sure not to write any reviews or else they may boot you from their practice and leave your kid with partially completed treatments and keep the money you paid them. Read on if you want details. When my daughter's regularly scheduled appointment in December was canceled due to Covid there was no way to reschedule it after school until April 2024. So my wife posted a comment that it was hard to get appointments. She then got multiple calls from their office harassing her to take down her comment (but not an earlier appointment). When my wife refused take her comment down, they sent us a letter cancelling my daughter's service and wrote in the letter that it was due to "negative posts online". This actually happened. I have the letter. The treatment wasn't completed, so according to their own contract they owe us a payment for the remaining treatment. They agreed and gave us a number. Almost 6 months later, they send me a docusign contract requiring me to "refrain from any negative or defamatory comments, posting or reviews" as terms for getting the money back. This isn't in my original contact with them, which clearly states they must pay us back for remaining service. They're not buying my silence, I just want the money back we both agreed they owed us for not completing their service. Obviously, I didn't agree to that. Then the orthodontist starts emailing me that it's normal practice to sign away your rights to post about the service to receive money back you already paid (despite not being in our contract). And that the remaining services are not really part of the treatment (despite the contract clearly enumerating them as part of the treatment). It makes me wonder how many more botched treatments they've had if they're canceling prepaid services and holding people's money hostage unless they sign NDAs. Meanwhile, we're scrambling to take care of my daughter's teeth. We since visited 2 other orthodontists who said she needs to completely restart Phase 1 orthodontics and that her teeth did not have room to erupt. Even their own cancelation letter stated "Your daughter's orthodontic condition requires further treatment". So my daughter is getting teeth pulled to fix their phase 1 treatment and will need to get phase 1 braces again. And they are still holding the money that they had previously told us they would refund unless I agree not to post reviews. 0 stars! read more

After being told by my general dentist that I needed Invisalign. It came out of nowhere - I was just there a few months ago and never had this been mentioned to me before so I wanted to get a second opinion. I called Fresh Orthodontics and got an appointment two days later. The office is really nicely designed ("Fresh" is an apt name"), I was given x-rays and seen by Mark and Dr. Khanna right away who gave me an exam, a very thorough and honest explanation of what's going on in my mouth, and didn't pressure me or make me feel bad. On top of that, the Invisalign would be over $1000 cheaper here than at my dentist. I will be visiting again in 6-12 months to see how my teeth have progressed and if I should get the Invisalign, but it was incredibly helpful not to feel like they were going to try to sell me the Invisalign no matter what and that it would be okay if I didn't get it right away. All the staff including Dr. Khanna and Mark were extremely friendly, patient, helpful, and generally kind people. Highly recommend! read more

I am so happy I was referred here by a great Dentist in the same neighborhood, Dr. Ifraim Agababayev. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Khana is personable, takes his time and explained all my options. He was transparent, patient and answered all my questions. The staff are all professional, friendly and efficient. The establishment is clean and refreshing. I love the flexibility and it's great location which makes it accessible during lunch hours. I had a wonderful consultation appointment with Dr Khanna. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I was wanting a second opinion on dental implant surgery vs the possibility of bringing a large impacted canine down with braces. He discussed all my options and put my mind at ease that the current treatment plan I was on for implant surgery was the best. Even though I wont be getting any treatment from him, I really appreciate his honesty. Dr Khanna, his wonderful staff (shout out to Benjamin), and the amazing care and facility are superb! Fresh IS fresh! Modern office and great atmosphere (for kids, teens, and adults). Everyone is extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and the treatment is super state of the art and scheduling is flexible. Today, Dr Khanna truly went above and beyond. After leaving a voice message with the office about a broken part of the expander, he called us within half an hour and came from out of town to meet us on a Saturday (!) to fix the broken part and make sure our daughter was comfortable for the weekend. I've been going here for Invisalign, and it's always a pleasant experience. Everyone there is super kind and helpful. The only issue is that Invisalign is hella expensive, but that isn't really their fault so I don't fault them for it. I do wish they had made me more aware of the fact that I'd have brackets all over my teeth and look like I was as 12-year-old with braces, though. read more

Discussing our options for braces for our son has been chaotic and confusing. Considering how much money we are spending at this orthodontics office, we are not being provided with clear and sufficient information to help make informed decisions. As a courtesy, they should send out contracts in advance, work with our dental insurance so we know what is going on, and be transparent as possible. It also seems invasive that they must have a credit card on file to move forward, as opposed to allowing checks for paymen or payment on sites, not everybody wants their credit card stored for every single transaction these days. Overall the experience has been disappointing and unprofessional and we do not recommend using this office or service. They take what should be a pleasant and straightforward situation and make it feel confusing and as though we are being ripped off, which is thanks to their thoughtless approach to communicating with paying customers. Also what the doctor posted in reply is not true. We are very much in touch with them and they won't send us what we need to move forward with clear and understandable service! read more

Benjamin is great and Dr. Khanna as well. They were about half an hour behind schedule (which happens but not great for a consultation). I liked the space and Dr. Khanna was thorough. My tween and I recently visited Dr. Khanna at Fresh Orthodontics for a braces consult. It involved a quick glance in my child's mouth, a discomfort-free panoramic x-ray, and a looooong sit down conversation as Dr. Khanna patiently answered all our questions. He had already spoken to our pediatric dentist, and promised to continue to be in touch with her to determine exactly when we should get started (in my child's case, 6-12 months from now). Dr. Khanna's manner is easy-going, he is very articulate and personable, and he put both my child and me completely at ease. The Fresh Orthodontics office is attractive and state-of-the-art, and its receptionist is polite, attentive, and a pleasure to deal with. It's a relief to no longer dread putting my kid in braces. I first visited Dr. Khanna at Fresh Orthodontics for a consultation after being referred by my dentist. I had braces as an adolescent, but as I grew into my twenties my jaw also continued to grow, resulting in a bite issue that threatened the longevity of my teeth. Dr. Khanna was attentive and thoughtful, assessing my situation and recommending the best course of action. I am an actor and Dr. Khanna was sensitive to my concerns regarding my appearance and my ability to perform through treatment. We decided on an aggressive Invisalign treatment plan. As of now I have been wearing the Invisalign for almost three months and the results have been fantastic. At this rate, my treatment will be finished earlier than anticipated. What we like about this practice: convenient to F train, cost for braces is VERY reasonable compared to other providers in the neighborhood, super friendly staff, never any wait for an appointment and the office is brand new. This place seems like a hustle for Invisalign. Dr. Khanna seemed more salesmen than dentist. He was very personable and examined my teeth quickly before moving into the pitch of the three model options for my teeth that just happened to be sitting on his table: metal braces, clear braces or Invisalign. He talked through each option in a sales pitch but kept saying it's not a pitch. He then mentioned that the dentist who referred me, Dr. Warshaw, would be having dinner later that evening and he would mention he saw me. That seemed very shady to me. I have never been told I needed to see an orthodontist ever before by any dentist. This seemed like a hustle as I was provided a coupon to see Dr. Khanna by Dr. Warshaw's office, they even went out of their way to set up the appointment for me. I had to stop the sales pitch and the payment plan options to stop wasting the poor office manager's time. Stay away. read more
