I had a consultation for Invisalign (had them before but didn't wear my retainer) so I need to have my teeth realigned. The office is in a convenient location with most subway trains nearby. I found them on the Invisalign website, Platinum status. The office is well decorated and they have updated equipment, including a massage chair that was used for my consultation. The other chairs in the hygienist area didn't appear to be massage chairs. I had photos and xrays completed as well as an overall exam by the orthodontist, who mentioned he was just starting dental school when I last had Invisalign in 2006. I was then taken to the patient coordinator's office where I was given a detailed print out of my treatment options (two treatment plans) with the fees listed, my photos and an xray that I requested. This was in addition to having everything explained in detail about the payment plans available. My insurance is changing for 2020 to add a company paid HSA account in addition to the existing coverage for adult braces so I wanted to make sure I knew my options to ensure I save the right amount in my HSA to pay for my second round of Invisalign plus a retainer. I got a second opinion at a different orthodontist and have a third and final appointment set up and then I will make my decision about where to get Invisalign. Overall, I enjoyed the experience at Hanson Place and am already leaning toward choosing them. read more

Every time I come to an appointment here for my kids braces. It's scheduled for one time and we are usually waiting for over 30 min after the scheduled time to be seen. The place is very modern and has what seems like high tech equipment but it lacks in other places. Which makes me regret coming here at all. Somewhere closer to my neighborhood would've been much more convenient. They over book with basically with no regards to other peoples time. Very unprofessional. Unfortunately this office wasted my time completely. The person who I spoke with on the phone told me took my insurance information down and told me that they would not be able to confirm whether my insurance was covered until I came in for an initial consultation. I asked multiple times if there was any way to confirm my insurance coverage before coming in, and they said that was not possible. When I arrived for my consultation, the person working the front desk was able to tell me that they did not take my insurance just from me providing the name of my insurance (which I had provided over the phone). I asked why they could not have told me this over the phone to spare me coming in for no reason, and the front desk person said "I don't know why the person who took your call didn't tell you that." I will say that everyone who I interacted with in person was nice and courteous, but I was frustrated that the person who took my call mislead me and wasted my time. read more

BEWARE -THIS PLACE OVERCHARGES This place is the worst. They know nothing about insurance. After she was seen by the dentist, Ivan abreu (Mr. slick) took me into an office and told my daughters braces were going to cost $6000. He couldn't explain the insurance breakdown and didn't understand that they had to bill under a specific code. Actually, we were in network with this office and the most they were allowed to charge under their billing code was something like $4500. Needless to say we went with someone else and reported the office to the insurance company. I later received a letter of apology from mr. slick. read more

I had a bad experience here today. It was going very well until at the end the treatment coordinator told me the price of invisialign and regular braces was the same ($6900). I asked how could this be and he told me "we don't want you to make choices about your health based on cost". I was going to go with the invisialign anyway but I was so insulted I don't think I'm coming back... I'll do it somewhere else... read more

I've been going here for about three years (I got braces as an adult) and had to get TADs put in. I've recently finished with my treatment, but this has been a mostly positive experience, and they have been accommodating to my work schedule. They have been genuine in explaining to me every situation. Dr. Gulati probably has the best bedside manner I've ever seen, to be honest. Very patient and kind guy. All the doctors there are good, and Dr. Eisenberger is pretty competent in his craft. read more

I've had bad dental experiences before and I'm so glad my brother was able to go here. Upon entering your greeted by an awesome receptionist who was ready to speak to you. The environment is clean and tidy. Equipment is all pretty modern. The dentist Dr. Gulati was very patient and informative. He was willing to listen to our concerns and answer questions clearly. Along with his assistant who I didn't get her name but she was with my little brother through the entire process(he's a cry baby ) . And he was sad about having to get braces but she was able to keep him calm and talk to him when he asked questions. I would definitely recommend Hanson Place Orthodontist to anyone. =] read more

Im writing this review for 2 reasons: 1, im really surprised there aren't any already, and 2, i looked into reviews before going here and couldn't find any. So i am over a year and a half into treatment (they tell you 18-24 months) and i am very pleased with this Ortho. My primary dentist Dr. Rosenkranz (whom i adore) referred me to this Ortho. The location is great, variety of buses and trains will get you here no problem. The office is nice, not gigantic but they use the space very accordingly. The staff there, from the front desk to the hygienist/orthodontics themselves are all very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Every time i go to have my braces readjusted, i'm in and out without 30 minutes (sometimes sooner, or later depending on how busy they are) However i will say that, mostly the hygienist take care of you rather than the actual Ortho, im guessing because of all the patients they must see. Regardless, they keep your "plan" or outline in the computer system so everyone is on the same page, and the hygienist really know what they are doing. There was one time that i couldn't afford to make the payment that month, and the front desk lady was nice enough to let me pay the next month, (im always very good with my payments) So i always keep that in mind, as other places might haggle you, Hanson place Orthodontics are very understanding and really make you feel at ease right away (because lets face it, having someone prodding around in your mouth is never fun). Every time I've had to reschedule or come in because my wire popped out, it was never an issue. Overall i am very satisfied here and very glad that i was referred to this Orthodontist by my dentist. Update: I am now braces free! My teeth look amazing. I've had them on for longer than I expected, but a job well done is worth the wait. I'm so glad I came here for my braces. We moved from Canada and had to transfer to a new orthodontist part way through our daughters care. We had an excellent practitioner in Canada and we're thrilled to find the same here with dr. Eisenberger and hanson orthodontics. Our daughter never skipped a beat and her teeth look excellent. I love the way the office communicated with both US and her. As a young adult she appreciated being given as much freedom as we wanted her to have, making her own appointment and following through with recommendations. My 9 year old daughter had her braces through Hanson Place and it has been an easy and painless experience. The front desk and reception are always friendly and attentive. They may be fine orthodontists, but they never tell the patient what they are doing until they stab the patient in the gums, or generally injure the patient. I, personally, have a unique treatment with Dr. Eisenberger. One of my conditions requires two pieces of metal embedded into myjaw. After I had the surgery to insert them, I went to Dr. Eisenberger, who immediately tried to bend this appliance, which caused me extreme pain. Instead of notifying his nurses, he allowed them to continue and try to bend the appliances every time. Walk into this office any day, and you'll see children waiting for the doctor, then, out of nowhere, have a sharp tool thrust into their mouth. Just recently, I was given a rubber band by Dr. Eisenberger and told to "put it in". I had no idea what he meant, and was repremainded by a nurse who seemed to think I was a dentist. I legitimately cannot rember a single time I've walked out of this place happy and not in pain. All in all, they are a mess, forgetting appointments and simple tasks (Like tightening the wire on one's braces) and inserting expensive chunks of haphazardly built tools and appliances into the patients mouth without consent. Dr. Eisenberger really cares about your smile and I think he truly enjoys his work. He is cheerful and knowledgeable and so is his staff. The new office is gorgeous! I enjoy visiting, especially saying hi to Patti who has been with him many years. I am a middle-aged woman and got braces for the first time. I just got them off and I'm loving my straight teeth!!! I'm still wearing the retainer but it's clear so you can't see it, I got a fixed retainer behind my bottom teeth. As I get older, as least I know my smile will be awesome : ) read more
