I took it in on a Tuesday and Thursday it was fixed and ready to go, $40.00 + tax. They put a new gearbox in it and only charged me for parts. Today, 2 months later I called to see if they were still doing service calls, they said yes and could stop by today. They called and said they were on their way. The first thing he said was I didn't have enough water in my pool. He showed me how to work the timer, the valves and he lubricated the top of the basket on the filter. No charge. Seriously, if you need work done on your pool or on your pool equipment, call Norris pools. Good honest people to work with.

Many did not return calls or sent quotes I felt where too expensive. I did receive a call from one located in Gilbert who was very honest and explained what he felt I needed and what it should cost. He told me he does not travel to my area, since he has enough work in his town. He was honest and helpful. I finally found Trusted Pools thru a neighbor. She just had Trusted Pools service her pool and was happy. I called them and immediately got a return call from Trindal. I explained what I wanted and she recommended a chlorine wash versus acid wash as my pool did not have any stains, just dirt from 4 years of use. They also bead blasted my tiles to remove the scales. I was very impressed with this family owned business. They are honest and fair in their prices. After talking to my neighbor who referred me, I too signed up for their monthly service. It may seem more expensive them the large companies, but, there are no hidden fees. The monthly service includes drain pool every 4 years, all chemicals, vacuum, brush, etc. From the first call to having a clean fresh looking pool was only a week!

Our pool was recently resurfaced, and we had a dust storm that left a ton of dirt at the bottom of…read morethe pool. Around 11am today, the unions on our backwash assembly broke, rendering the pump and filter inoperable, all while there was quite a bit of remaining dirt from last night in the new pool. The new surface is susceptible to staining and so we couldn't afford to have the pool pump/filter be down for several days. I called many companies and got a hold of Prickly Pools. They advised that their regular distributors were closed for the long weekend, but said they'd call Leslies to see if they could locate the part, and if located could come tomorrow to complete the repair. They ended up locating the part at a Leslies close to our home, so after asking nicely for them to come today, they agreed!! The technician arrived, and advised that we didn't have much pvc left once the broken part was cut off, and that he may have to replumb a lot of additional areas. But, he found a solution using a tool so he didn't have to replumb the additional areas. I appreciated his honesty and creativity in finding a solution that saved me money. I've had a great experience, and it's nice to know that honest, timely and overall great customer service still exists. I was impressed with their offer to call around to Leslies to find the part, agreeing to repair same day at my request, and being honest by coming up with a solution to avoid a more costly replumb. They're Okay. There are pros and cons for me. I was charged $120 per month, which covers weekly…read moreservice. Most of the time, they were in and out of my backyard in under 10 mins, putting chemicals in and emptying skimmer basket and then leaving. Rarely, they'd skim the pool surface or use my pool scrub brush. I pay attention to my pool tools ans notice when they are moved, and also have cameras in my backyard.. The day they come for service was also not consistent. A couple times weeks were skipped if there was a holiday. It would have been nice if they came the day after or day before said holiday so that I'm getting my money's worth, on a month by month basis. On the plus side, they brought it their own pool robot to help with dirt collecting in pool until I was able to buy my own. They also answered some of my pool questions which was great as a first time pool owner. they even took the initiative and set up my pool vacuum when I left out the new box in my patio, which I appreciated. So, like I mentioned in the beginning of post, this review is mixed, hence the 3 stars.

He tore it apart and one of the wheels fell off. One of the reasons it wasn't working. He went out and got the part, came back, assembled the robo vac again and it's working fine. He also checked my water and showed me how to operate the timer and emptied out my filter basket. All of this for an extremely reasonable price. I'll be sure to call him again for my pool needs.

He went out to look at the pool the next day and contacted me with what work needed to be completed and an estimated cost. Within a couple days he called to say that work we had discussed was completed. He sent pictures of a sparkling blue pool versus the lime green disaster that is previously was. My pool and filters are maintained and everything runs great. You really can't go wrong with the service provided by Prism Pools I'd highly recommend this company. Kim
