Ridiculous response when I complained about how shoddy and cheap their cotton knit shirts are. After just a few washes, they get thinned out areas and tear easily...They actually told me to buy their thicker shirts..No apology, no explanation but suggestions to keep purchasing from them. I have been a very long time patron. The company has changed hands and now it has cheapened everything. It uses thick cheaper material so the sizing has changed and the fabric is extremely hot and thick. The sizing is so different. Certain dress lines are way too boxy, nothing like the shapely breezy and easy dresses they used to be. Plus they are not the cute designs of earlier (batiks, upscale gorgeous designs). It is now even more expensive (almost 80.00 for a cotton dress!!!!) and they have slapped tourist designs on them like flip flops or silly soda pop drinks, changing the line into a cheap tourist imitation. This is not fresh produce, this is like the line I CANTOO which I wore 30 years ago when I was a kid. I got a notice in my emails that they were having a sale. I took a look and there was a dress for 18.00. I ordered it in blue, paid, got a confirmation of shipment...then a few days later, I wrote and asked if I could get the dress in another color too and combine the shipping (i was going to use them to garden in). They said yes, took my money, confirmed that it would be on its way. This morning I woke up to a flippant message saying my blue dress is out of stock but do I want a black one. FOR SUMMER? Uh no, I want what I paid for, with confirmation. Then they proceeded to tell me that the pink dresses I wanted were not in stock either. I said, what? I didn't order any pink dresses. Come to find out they actually went into my account, charged me for 5 additional dresses, that I had NO IDEA ABOUT. The only reason it was found is because I was so mad they sold the blue dress I bought and paid for a week earlier out from under me, that I told them to cancel my order for that one, and the additional green dress. I'm done with this unprofessional company. All I can say is BE CAREFUL. It is NOT the old company. Check your bill twice. They change things without telling you. I found this little store when I was shopping in Old Towne Orange. It was the store's cute window that really caught my attention. Although the clothes weren't quite my style (it's a bit more mature and casual than I typically like), I found some nice basics (white tanks/t-shirts) right away. I also purchased some cute sandals and canvas crocs. There were some really beautiful scarfs and bracelets here too. What was truly impressive about the store was the great customer service. Before I even saw the salesperson (I think her name is Lisa), I heard her sweet, upbeat voice asking the customers if they needed help. I was walking around the Gardenwalk and this store happen to catch my eye. First off the name threw me off, "fresh produce" but there was no fresh produce to be found here. But what made me go into the store was the window display of Vera Bradley bags. If you haven't heard of Vera Bradley bags, then you might have seen them around town. Super colorful and fun patterns. http://www.verabradley.com I've never seen them in stores, so I usually just get them online! But now I have a store that I can go to!! Plus they've got tons of older design bags for sale. I'm all about the sales. Other items in this store that I liked were the sandals...they had these sandals that you can sort of design yourself, adding in your own personal touch....such as the straps. They reminded me of a fancier HIC sandal (remember those from the 90's ... yeah I still rock my HIC sandals, don't laugh) The clothing seems very summer-y beach-y clothing, such as sundresses and tunics. A bit too mature looking for my taste, but hey if you're a real housewife of OC kinda momma, you might wanna check this place out. So yeah, I'm a fan .... mainly of Vera Bradley. I went here with fellow yelpers Lily A. and Jorge O. to purchase the "All in One Wristlet," perfect for those who want to store their cell phone and wallet in one place. It is ideal for those with unorganized bags that need to find their money and/or phone right away...genuis! I went directly to the sale area and found a $24 wristlet which was originally priced at $32, quite a deal I must say! The staff were helpful and friendly, especially since they greeted us right when we came in and they recognized Jorge O. because he was there a week or so before to purchase Lily A.'s birthday gift. If you are like me and want to be organized and simple, then purchase the "all in one wristlet," and you will be that person who finds their phone right away to answer in like 2 rings, no joke! This is a great store in the Anaheim Garden Walk to find resort wear and all around comfortable cotton clothes made in the USA. I love all of their vibrant colors and styles. The clothes looks fabulous at the beach or a cruise or just every day wear. I have several of their tees, maxi dresses, skirts and tops and I always get compliments on them.The sales staff in this store are very friendly and helpful and I always enjoy my shopping experience there. BUYERS BEWARE! I have been wearing Fresh Produce clothing for over 25 years. I purchased a tshirt online, wore it once, washed it and the shirt shredded across the middle in the front. I contacted the company from my online account, told them of the problem and their first response was to give me laundering instructions...no restitution for their failed product. I was floored! I responded to the email asking for restitution, their response was to give me a 15% discount on my next order! I then called asking to speak to the supervisor of the person corresponding to me. Much to my dismay that same person who emailed me called me, again no restitution. I will probably never order from this company again! :-( read more
