A shout to SCOUT specifically for helping me surprise my daughter for her birthday today! While talking to my daughter on the phone today, she told me that she was in Nectar, checking out some clothing and that she fell in love with a sweater with a strawberry logo on it. My daughter loves all things strawberry! Since I was stuck home with Covid and an hour away from her, I made an excuse to quickly get off the phone with her and call the store. Scout answered the phone and after I told her that I wanted to surprise my daughter for her birthday, she swiftly gathered all my information before my daughter headed for the register with the strawberry sweater in tow. Scout arranged for a little birthday treat for my daughter, along with the strawberry sweater and she added a $10 coupon to my final bill. I was on the phone with Scout as my daughter approached Scout who said, "I hear it's your birthday?!" And what a lovely surprise it was for her! Yesterday (Saturday Apr. 30th) I opened the parking lot door of the store to walk in . I promptly fell down the 3 wooden stairs and flat on my face. Luckily there were 2 young men who immediately jumped to my rescue and asked me if I was hurt and helped me to my feet. The shop girl just stood there with a stupid look on her face. She did not even ask if I was Ok! She immediately walked over to merchandise and looked down and busied herself with straightening sweaters or whatever. I approached her and said "don't worry I'm not going to sue this place but a word of advise . You need to put yellow strips of some sort of marking on these 3 these 3 wooden steps that blend into the wooden flooring or this store is going to have someone take a spill on the damn things and really hurt themselves and they WILL sue." In closing, a couple of hours later my friend and I walked into the front door and into the store. This "shop girl" saw us approaching and quickly diverted her head and never acknowledged our presence- so rude and such poor representation for this shop. Great selection of clothes, nice quality, clean facility, very helpful and kind staff, overall a great experience I had gone for the first time earlier this week, then went to their other location in Irvine as I was in search for an outfit for a concert. Cute! This store really fits in with some of the tenant revitalization that has taken place at the circle in the last few years. There are a few nice women's shops that have come into the picture, and Nectar is my favorite! Most of their clothes are great for weekend we are, or, if you have a fairly casual dress environment at work, you can get away with some of the stuff here. Most of it is moderately priced, in the $35-$55 range. Obviously there are some things that fall outside that bracket. They also do have a sale section in the back right of the store. What I like also is that the staff is friendly and helpful, but you can also be left to your own devices too. There are several changing rooms in the back left of the store. I always love stopping into Nectar at the orange circle... Friendly helpful staff. Cute clothing and accessories that are reasonably priced (such a nice surprise these days). I will say in the past couple years though they've definitely catered their merchandise to a much younger crowd than they used to. But I always seem to find something I like (even though my niece whose in jr high loves this store haha). They have a wide range of items they carry from clothing, shoes, jewelry, purses, sunglasses, to even boho luxe plants in vases. Pretty cool shop, check it out sometime. read more

After a visit to Newport Beach, Balboa Island, and Fashion Island, I believe I have made a mistake. I purchased a bralette and clothing for my girlfriend at those locations after noticing that the shops there were really repetitions of one another, each one holding almost the exact same inventory and selection. After arriving at the Circle in Orange, I came to this shop where it finally had a women's clothing store that carried things unique in style, selection, and price. Lemme first say, I loved the price. My girlfriend had been wanting to expand her bralette collection and here they are much cheaper and expansive in selection than the other places I have gone to in the area. They are cheap, wonderfully made, and beautiful in their own sense of style. Aside from that, the other clothing they have to offer, as well as jewelry, was priced excellently and they looked great! I ended up buying even more here just cause I won't be back down for a while (NorCal resident sadness ensues). I used to go to this shop often and unfortunately it isn't the same. The clothing choices are pretty basic now and unoriginal. On top of that, the girls that work there never greet me or offer me help. In fact , i get treated with suspicion when i walk in and get ignored while every other customer gets greeted and given attention. Don't bother with this place. Purchased an item as a gift and the sensor was left on it. When I went to wrap it I realized and obviously couldn't gift it. Went back to the store to return the item as it wasn't my fault the sensor was left on it. And they did not want to budge on returning. Aside from that I realized they had over charged me on something. This place is a mess and the clothing is so cheap. Went here yesterday for the very first time to purchase some last-minute outfits for my wine tasting weekend with the girls. I found a great selection of clothing at very affordable prices! Boutiques can be so pricey but Nectar's price point is on the lower end of some I've seen. The shop girls were very sweet and helpful. I found some cute clothes that worked for me and that really boosted my confidence as right now I'm still trying to lose the quarantine 30. I waited to pay $62 for such a long time that wasn't the problem I get it, what bothered me was that the customers in front of me were making their purchase both paid with either debit or credit. I was in line waiting for those 2 purchases and the gal checking them out did not ask for their ID's, but as I'm being checked out and mind you not I paid with my debit card but they can only run credit card transactions I was asked to show my ID. Weird I was asked but the blonde lady in front of me was not. Seriously if you are going to card be equal don't pick maybe she didn't do it with a bad intention but the bitter taste of some sort of discrimination is not a good feeling. read more

This place has cute stuff, some overly priced some just right. It's those just right items that make this place worthy. They also sell houseplants which i think is cute but the price of them is double, even triple of what you could get at your local hardware store. But it's those just right priced cute items that make this place cool! Unfortunately, I came in today and was turned off and walked out of the store. Why? Their new bag policy I had a small backpack, the backpack purse basically and was told I could not take it in the fitting room with me. I have never been told this before but the girl said I could leave it behind the cash register, I told her I felt uncomfortable and in my head was thinking they accused me of something even though I was nice and talking to them the whole time while picking out my outfits to try on. She was insisting and said they were watching her on the cameras and she could not let my bag in, I told her she could literally review everything when I left and she still told me no. I have worked in retail before for 5 years, this is not how you handle LP issues. If you have big inventory issues, you clearly need better employees that are trained in what to look for to help LP. I left the store after being nicely upset and saying how uncomfortable I was. My biggest question is if you don't trust your customers how the heck am I suppose to trust you with my expensive backpack with my cash, smart phone, and makeup? Really disappointing. I can understand a cheap little store that wants large backpacks, but my tiny purse like backpack at a place that is a fancy boutique, you re kidding ? Cute little boutique I stumbled upon while walking around the Orange Circle. I instantly fell in love with the place after I helped myself to the (free) hot chocolate, which made the stroll around the store worthwile ;) Anyway, as for the store, the selection is foreign exchange/brandy melville -ish. Trendy, and not overly saturated with club-esque clothing. The price point is more on the foreign exchange side, so some clothing items seem unreasonably high for what they are. However, they have a really good selection of necklaces--the most expensive one being $15, which is sort of un heard nowadays. The way the store is set up is super cute, and kind of sucks you in to take your time, looking at what gem you'll find. I really loved this little boutique in the Orange Circle! It reminded me of No Rest for Bridget with a good range of affordable pieces. We came on a Sunday and received free stud earrings as a part of their "Stud Saturday" promotion. I bought a loose coral long sleeve shirt with fitted sleeves that I really loved. They have some great staple pieces like this as well as more fun pieces like rompers and floral pants. They have some clever pieces for the younger set- my friend bought a super cute t-shirt that read "Drink Moscato". Just about everything is priced under $50 which makes it affordable. This Nectar store is my favorite one to shop at. The space is always so clean and the girls who work here are so awesome and helpful. I went in today and an associate with short auburn hair (wish I got her name!!!!) approached me when I had a few things in my hand and set up a fitting room for me right away. One of the things I tried on was out of stock in my size so she offered to call another store and ship it to me free of charge. This is also my favorite little boutique to shop at in the Orange Circle overall. I really want to love this place. I have been here so many times and I got some outfits with reasonable prices from them here and there. Today (2/13/15) I stopped by again and just wanted to look around and this girl with a bun on her head gave me a shitty attitude. I almost wanted to walk out without buying the stuffs I wanted. She was doing some paper bags and stuffs and I asked if I could take a look at one of the tops hanging at the upper rack. She looked at me impolitely and got it for me, but her attitude told me that she didn't want to get up and did it.
