I called Fresh Tints last Thursday 4/5/2018. Their prices were awesomely fair. They schedule me first thing on Saturday morning at 9:00 am in their new shop in New Berlin. They were courteous, kind, friendly, and reassuring. They talk you through the whole process. They have free wifi, Netflix TV, even drinks. They said it would take 2 hours and it took maybe an hour and 15 minutes. I can't describe how professional they are. I HIGHLY recommend them! If you're concerned about tinting your windows, these are the guys to talk too. They know the laws, they know their business, and they will have you feeling very confident about your decision. Summary is at the end... I booked myself an appointment with them for 20% all around on my 2010 Honda Fit Sport. My daily beater car. I was scheduled to go to the Berlin shop. I got to the shop on time and the owner wasn't there. I called him and he said they cleaning the shop and go to go to the Milwaukee shop...no notification to me at all. I drove about 30 minutes to Milwaukee and I'll just say it wasn't a nice neighborhood. So I get there and they take a while to get my car into the shop to do it. FYI the owner doesn't drive stick he had to ask someone to drive my car in, I saw it. But that wasn't important, what's important was the tint job right. So I wait my due time and 2 hours later my car is ready. I got out to check it out. They drove the car up and as they opened the door, the dash, the door jams, the door itself with the cloth was all WET and stained. I mean cmon you can at least ATTEMPTED to give it a thorough wipe. And that's not even the worse part, the GLASS is smeared and coated with streaks from every angle. You could tell they tried to wipe it but like with a something nasty and quick too. I have never seen such nasty streaks in my life. I detail my main car, an 03 Honda S2000 daily so this poor attempt at trying to clean they work was freaking pitiful. First time getting my windows tinted so I don't know if the windows are suppose to be cleaned afterwards but I know they're supposed to be cleaner than what I had. I didn't say anything cuz this my first time and got into the car. I just have to say again that the streaks bothered me all the way home. You're gonna have to focus to see cars in front of you I'm not exaggerating. Then once I got home I did a full inspection, because well I was already off schedule due to the failed notification of switching to the Milwaukee shop. And that's when I noticed that I've been robbed... How? Well you may or may not know but if you drive up to one of those automatic car washes and give them a $20 they will spit out $1 coins at you. I remember having at least 10 of those coins on top of all my change cuz winter just passed and I had to keep the car cleaned a little bit during winter you know. The salt and dirt is not good for the under railings of the car. (I would NEVER bring my main car into one of these washes - I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable car detailer since I've been doing it for years...those washing machines are swirl makers) But for my daily driver car I would care less. Anyways I look in my cup holder and I see 1 of those coins...ONE FREAKING COIN. I kid you know I dug into that cup holder and couldn't freaking believe my eyes that I have just been robbed. At least $10 was stolen. To top that off, the owner gave me a "discount" which was about $10 off the normal price. Pff sure I got a "discount" alright. It was just chump change so I wasn't too upset but still. Then I start noticing scratches on the tint near the driver side and passenger side. You can clearly see horizontal scratches on it. I called up the owner and he the balls to accuse me that I could've done it when I cleaned the windows 4 days after the tint job. I use only microfiber towels and a tint safe window cleaner. He told me to bring the car in for the person who tinted my car to inspect it. We set up an appointment for me to bring the car in. I came on time AGAIN and the people inside the shop had already taken another walk-in person's car in for tinting on MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. They acted like they never knew I was coming in. Told me to wait 1.5 hours for the car inside to be finished... I called the owner and guess what, no answer. 3 calls, and no answer. I should also note that the owner is like a 25 year old boy, he never introduced himself to me. Very unprofessional if you ask me. Well that's that. To sum it up: - DON'T go to the Milwaukee shop, I can't say anything about the Berlin shop but judging from what I went through...nahhh go to a different shop - NO cash OR coin change is safe in your car or god forbid expensive trims inside your car - carbon fiber etc - Better be ready to drive home with the most streakiest windows you will ever see - Better be ready to clean your interior when you get home - DON'T expect professional tinting on your car If they can't respect me enough and tint my daily beater car correctly and trust fully, how in the freak are they going to expect me to bring in my main cars...They may have robbed me this one time but they lost a customer and LOTS OF other customers. I'm Asian and Asian people are crazy car people. Ricers, tuners, collectors, show cars you name it I can tell you at least 5 people from those categories. Well guess what Fresh Tints, yall just lost those phone numbers and mine as well. Your best bet is to go to Superior Window Tinting or Tint Boyz, they were my 2nd and 3rd options.
