Last year my car was rear-ended. My first instinct was to take it to Caliber Collision in Germantown because I had a good previous experience with Goff's Auto Body and Caliber bought them out, but the estimated repair time from Caliber was longer than I hoped for so I looked elsewhere. 1Collision County Line had excellent reviews on Google and claimed they could get the repairs done faster, so I gave them a shot. The friendly customer service and the fact that my car eventually got repaired correctly are the reasons this isn't a one star review. At this point I don't remember the exact number of times I had to take my car back to them because something wasn't installed correctly, but I know for a fact it was at least three times, which made the total repair time longer than what Caliber had quoted me at. In one instance they installed the rear windshield wiper incorrectly, so instead of wiping up onto the glass it was wiping down onto the spoiler and scratching both the glass and the spoiler. After they replaced the scratched windshield, they didn't seal it properly so I had water leaking into my hatchback's trunk area. Finally, one of the rear parking sensors came loose and my car's proximity alarm was freaking out because it constantly thought I was going to hit something. It got to the point that I considered taking my car elsewhere when something new would pop up because I couldn't trust it would be fixed correctly, even though it was all covered by the insurance claim 1Collision had open and I probably would have been charged out of my own pocket elsewhere. As I said, my car eventually got repaired correctly, but I won't be using their services in the future unless I have no other choice. read more

I appreciate being greeted when I enter a store and I met three different employees (maybe owners) and was cheerfully greeted by each of them. Great professional people and quality work reasonably done. It took a day longer than it was supposed too which if I had been renting a car would have cost me an extra $45. Instead I spent 3 days in the house. Things happen but that is why only 4 stars. If you are renting a car do not use Enterprise Rental or Hertz in the area. They have pulled all support for the NRA and the Second Amendment. If they, Enterprise, cannot respect the US Constitution I can not respect or support Enterprise Car Rental. Thrifty Car Rental is Just up the road a wee bit and they still discount for NRA members. . read more

I was hit and not only did they fix the damage the car looks INCREDIBLE it looks better than it did when I dropped it off and they went above and beyond to help me get things fixed that needed to be done that they didn't have to do.My wife doesn't take her car to any random place and hard to win over. I needed two estimates for a very minor brush on the back side of my car. I went to an auto body shop in the Falls and was told I didn't need any paint so the job would only be $100.00. I then found out I needed a clip so $20.00 was added to the bill. I took my car to 1Collision and the nice gentlemen buffed out my car in less than 30 minutes and installed the clip . My total bill was ZERO Imagine $120 from one dealer and free from another. The waiting room was very clean and cozy with a tv to watch while waiting, I highly recommend doing business with this firm. Lousy workmanships. You get what you paid for despite assurance that you would be warranted like a paying customer. One of the shop workers had hit my car on the driver side door to the rear door and we agreed that he would fix my car for free. I had assurance there would be no corner cutting and treated as a paying customer. Apparently it was O.K. with the owner. So I agreed. The car was finished in 4 days instead of the estimated 10 days. Had to travel back many times to get missing fender liner clips put back on; door lock caving in; hub cap that was conveniently forgotten to be replaced and replacing a defective headlight cover. There was a shallow dent on the back door that was missed and I had to go back again to have a PDR guy pound out the dent. I mentioned that the door sneaked and after I investigated found that the door molding was rubbing against the roof drip molding. I went back and forth the most amount of time on this. I was first told to see if the problem would continue. My oiling it didn't work so I went back and was told that a door molding would be ordered as a replacement. Went in one day and the door molding was screwed down but it was still rubbing against the roof drip molding. In the subsequent return the door molding was again not replaced as promised but the roof drip molding was removed and re-installed pushed up. Problem was finally solved after many trips back and forth. One big problem the wrong clips were put on the roof drip molding and it was very loose. Some sections didn't even have clips because they broke them taking off the molding. I noticed that the chrome drip molding was dented in the front. -- I had it I decided I am not going back. Waste of gas. I order an expensive roof drip molding and replaced it myself. It was a much more professional job from an amateur. I was told that some of the other shop workers gets into frequent accidents often as well and I could conjecture that they were "voluntarily" repaired at the shop as well.-- I don't know. Update: 5/4/2018: The owner reimbursed me for the molding I installed. He said I am still under warranty. read more

I couldn't believe it was my car, it looked like it had just come off the lot at a dealership..... and when I looked inside, OMG.... awesome. I could tell that the person that had worked on my car has a deep sense of pride in what he does & it shows. He also tried to get out a slight scrape I had when I nicked ( no dents ) the side of my car.... wasn't able to but I found out he tried several different attempts to get it done, ... I can say that it's much less noticeable than before. Highly impressed with all the staff, they do great work. read more

From the minute you enter this business, until your vehicle is completed, it is a very positive, professional experience. The repair was done on time and at a reasonble price. This business was able to arrange for a rental car at a discounted price at a local national chain, making transportation one less thing I had to worry about. The repair work was clearly explained to me, and I was assured that if there was anything that did not live up to my expectations, even after I left the shop, they would work to correct it. It's never fun to have to pay for car repairs out of your own pocket, but 1Collision did their best to make this a less painful event. And as a really nice gesture, before I left the shop, I was given a small bouquet of flowers. It was such an unexpected and sweet surprise.
