Fresh World is the super market to come to if you're looking for produce, international goods, and unique finds. It's hard to find ripe bananas so when I'm looking I know they always have ripe and green bananas here. They also have the mini banana that kids and people love. The employees are generally friendly. Many of them speak Spanish too. The checkout lines are quick and I don't think I've ever had to wait in line at all. Fresh World is located in a large shopping center near Wawa and off of Route 1. If you're looking for organic items I would not recommend Fresh World. read more

Fresh World is an international grocery store, and you can find some pretty good deals - I haven't bought produce from here, but I have noticed that some of their products, such as the instant noodles and the curry, are extremely competitive-priced. You can also find some random good deals and sales around the store. We usually come here, as one of our favorite eateries (Dosirock) is located at their food court. Staff has always been friendly, and the check-out line has always been efficient and dressed with a smile! I've been waiting for this store to open and I can say this will be the only international grocery I'll come to for awhile! It has only been open for about 3-days (opened 9/16/21), so there are still a little kinks they are working out. For example: the cashiers don't know all the codes to the fruits and veggies...but they are very cheerful and nice so I didn't mind them asking I guess he must be head cashier. This is the old price rite and I tell you they have done a lot of upgrades and additions inside that I was amazed! The set up is basically like all the other 3-5 international groceries we have around here. Fruits, veggies, bakery, my favorite the seafood counter, butchery area, and the regular isles with traditional items. Now back the seafood counter! I love that the have the shrimp in the open wheee you can bag and way your own amount. This use to be a pet peeve for me at another grocery I use to go to because they people behind the counter would be busy cutting, gutting, filleting fish that if you just wanted shrimp you would be standing around for awhile for no reason. This set up cuts all that out. Mind you they will weigh the items again at check out. The meat counter looks interesting and I will have to dive more into all they have to offer. The veggies/fruits section is massive I didn't see a few items I love (I.e. Shishito peppers; different mushrooms) which was very disappointing because I wanted to exclusively only shop here. Also, I didn't see bagged sweet onions which I really wanted. But because of these and a few items I will still have to go to another grocery until hopefully they will add these items soon. I give them a strong 4.5 because it's really a great start and seem like they will definitely be the top dog of the international grocers in the Woodbridge area. Besides those missing items all my other needs will be satisfied at Fresh and because I literally have a seafood counter I'm my back yard walking distance I will be coming here often. Please add the couple of items to your list and crab legs that are fresh at the counter! Now that would give them a 5.5 stars! read more

Just a warning to watch when they are ringing up your stuff. If they manually type a code in even though it has a barcode and they didn't even try to barcode, it's because they're trying to charge you extra. The cashier tried it on me but I knew to pay attention after seeing multiple reviews about it. She manually typed a code, didn't scan the barcode. The price came to $5 each when the advertised price was $2.50. I brought it to her attention and she went to customer service, wandered around and came back, scanned the barcode this time and then the correct price was there. It could have been an accident but why didn't she scan the barcode the first time? So please pay attention! read more

Purchased hamburger last night, took it immediately home and placed in fridge. This morning it is COMPLETELY brown despite being stored well under 40 degrees and despite being properly handled by us. NEGATIVE STAR!!!! Stopped by to pick up some fruits n veggies, walked by and was tempted to buy a donut and some sweet breads.. Noticed there were flies swarming about and crawling over the donut's. Told the guy behind the counter whom didn't seem to care. He walked over and literally said "where" I showed him the one right in front of him. He opened the case and let that one fly free walked away. I then went to "customer service" to let them know and the young lady said manager was not there he was on break for the next hour. I then asked for assistant manager she rolled her eyes and said he was on lunch as well. I sat my fruits n veggies down at that point and started to head out when I noticed a man in the manager's office, when asked if he was manager or assistant manager he said "no they are on lunch nobody here now" I told him that's fine would contact the health department and he just smiled and said ok.... Flies through out the store rude employees, I'm hoping they go out of business. What a shame I love international markets but that's just disgusting. read more

Their food ain't Fresh! So you cannot return stale food after 24hrs. Who the f&ck eats all the meat they buy in 24hrs? Really your sh$t been stale for over 24hrs! For a Korean American living in Woodbridge Fresh World is a life saver especially after JJ's International closed down last year. I know there's Global Supermarket but it's a bit far. All Fresh World needs is more variety of ready made banchans. read more

Best grocery store for Asian, Indian, BangladeshI and Pakistani people. Their vegetables and Fish are fresh. They also sell Halal Meats. Price are reasonable. Customer services also very nice. Highly Recommends. read more

The manager Sony Choi refused to exchange the toy 2$ for the 6 years old boy. They are doing big business but they don't know how to treating the customers good. My family spend 500$ every weekend here but they ruining it. They are horrible customers serving. read more

I went there on opening day! I've been looking for different things to cook at home... I was pleasantly surprised! I've never had Shark Steak... Well, they had Small Sharks and I had them cut it into Steaks! Delicious and reasonably priced! If you are looking for something different, this is the place to go!
