We came on a good day/ at a good time and only had to wait 20 minutes for a table of three…read more We started with the pumpkin pancake (delicious) and a gigantic latte (okay- it was mostly milk). We also tried the fresh squeezed orange juice which was excellent, and a mango banana smoothie that was pretty good. We each ordered the special, which came in two variations. I tried the avocado toast with smoked salmon, and my dining partners had the avocado toast with jamón serrano. They ranked the ham "10/10" and I was happy with my salmon as well, the portions were huge. We would certainly return when in Rocky point and looking for a yummy breakfast spot

The parking lot was completely full, and I was directed across the street to park. When I got there, I was told I would need to pay $5 for parking. I politely declined because I didn't feel I should have to pay extra just to visit the coffee shop. What happened next was disappointing. The parking attendant became visibly upset and called me "stingy" for not wanting to pay. I later learned he was associated with the restaurant/parking operation. When I confronted him about the comment, he suddenly changed his story and gave what seemed like a ridiculous excuse instead of simply acknowledging what he had said. Regardless of how good the food or coffee may be, customers should be treated with respect. Being insulted for choosing not to pay for parking is unacceptable and not the kind of customer service I expect from a business. Unfortunately, this experience was enough to make me leave and not return.

First, the cornhole tournaments outside are fun to watch, mostly retired "locals" enjoying a weekend of fun, plenty of shade and seating, they have an outside bar serving up cocktails & cold beers. Karaoke usually starts at 7pm (Sat) and it's a mixed bag of regulars and tourists looking for something fun to do. I can't sing but I can karaoke and the $3 margaritas definitely help me sound better (lol). The hosts are fun & try to get everyone involved. On my most recent visit I was starving and decided I'd try a burger & fries, perfectly cooked patty, they toasted the bun, plenty of pickles, the fries were perfectly salted.. delicious! I would recommend stopping in, you never know what or who you'll find at the Pink Cadillac.

But everything turned out solid. The chorizo and eggs (side of flour tortillas) was hearty and flavorful. Also had some avocado toast, which you really wouldn't expect here, but decided it was good despite being totally plain. Coming here for drinks was a blast, and I was treated to a lot of outstanding karaoke. Crowd was a bit unusual--more boomer expats than fellow tourists--but were all very fun people. I had a few of their $3 margaritas and stayed out pretty late! If you want a simple meal that's pretty inexpensive and not that touristy, Pink Cadillac is a considerable option for this side of Rocky Point. It's also not bad if you want to turn up a bit in a spot that's not a booming nightclub!
