Any restaurant that charges 1.25 for extra salad dressing is absolutely Nickel and dining their customers. Won't be going back.

I had the Tex-Mex Bowl with chicken added. Simply delicious! The flavors and the volume that was in the bowl. Just worked!!

Food is overpriced and you are completely overpaying for the rice bowls for what you get.

The counter service was quick, I ordered and was in and out in under 5 mins. Got lunch for two and it was about $32 CAD. Wouldn't hesitate to go here again, as their entire menu is healthy and fresh. Of course if you don't like any of their signature salads, you can create your own. Good soups as well, had their version of the French onion soup and it was also good. Definitely give this place a try if you tend to frequent Williams.

The opening of this restaurant…read morecontinues the trend of more restaurants opening up in KW that cater to the health conscious crowd. The ingredients used in the meals are fresh and mostly non processed with the exception of the protein options like wild salmon, tuna, etc. You can make a meal our of salad bowl, design your own wrap, select from one of their signature wraps, or select one of their sandwiches. I have had the tuna melt and found it satisfying. Similarly, I have tried the various salad bowls, signature wraps as well as custom wraps. If you are really hungry but still want a healthy meal, I recommend going for the wraps as the portions are a decent size. Everything I have had has tasted great and most importantly I have felt great after eating it! For the drinks, you have your regular sandwich shop options but this being a restaurant catering to the health conscious, you will find freshly squeezed juices as well. Depending on what you are having expect to pay up to $11-12 with tax for the food. The freshly squeezed juices go for around $7. They allow take out or sit in. The restaurant itself is clean and well appropriately decorated. The service staff has been friendly and courteous on all occasions without exception. Overall, this location is off to a great start and I hope they keep it at this level and get even better. Highly recommended!

They said they would wait for us to arrive around 7pm even though that is when they close. The Service: The service was exceptional. I think the man working there was the owner because he went above and beyond to accommodate us. I have many food allergies and he let me sub out ingredients to create the perfect meal for myself and he was extremely patient as he answered all of my questions after hours. The Food: We ordered the number 2 and 5 and the employee threw in a sample of the Thai soup for us to try. Thai Soup: The Thai soup was fantastic! It was thick, had a kick of lemon that I love and tasted delicious. We loved it so much we wish we had bought two bowls to go with our meals. #2 Bowl; My boyfriend ordered this dish as is and added tofu as his protein. It came with a peanut dressing, which he said was fantastic. The portion he received was really big and it filled him up. #5 Bowl: This bowl was a Mexican inspired bowl. I subbed out the cheese, and pita chips for more guacamole and edamame. The portion of my bowl was a little smaller than my boyfriends dish but the food was really good. It was really filling and I loved how they could accommodate my diet. Next time I might try a tangier dressing than the ranch this dish came with because I love a kick of lemon or lime juice with my meals. Would We Go Back? Absolutely !

She did not change the one glove she was wearing when she was in the back nor decided to put another glove on before handling the food with her other bare hand. This is not the first time this has happened at the Heartland location. (and she was told this the previous time). When she was addressed about how she was handling the food, she proceed to ask me if I ever went to McDonalds, I told her it doesn't matter I am in The Chopped Leaf. When asked for the mangers name and her name she said she was the manager and her name is Noor. If this how Customer Service is at this location I will not be going back as they do not follow protocol in handling food, nor do they have Customer service skills.

I've come here twice and I haven't been disappointed yet…read more There's so many choices that it might be a bit overwhelming but everyone is very helpful with suggestions. If you want to try something new or if you want to stick by your old favourites, there's something for everyone. The first time I was here, I decided to try something new. I had the seitan platter which was the perfect introduction. The seitan was cooked in four different styles so it was great to see which type you like. The second time, I just had a seitan appetizer which looked like a good imitation of roasted duck but it had a smooth texture and it was flavoured well. Keep in mind that the portions after the appetizers are big. You can either share it or have some to yourself but regardless, there is a chance you might take some home. No complaints though. Both times I have ordered fried rice with different toppings that are mixed in with the rice. I love the way they make this because they don't cook it like other restaurants where they fry the rice and you feel bloated and heavy. Zen' drive is cooked perfectly so you don't taste that fried feeling and though you will get that filled feeling, you won't feel lethargic after. I also order tea both times. My recommendation is the rose tea. The teapot is so small and cute but you can smell the tea and it leaves you feeling relaxed. Side tidbit: the place is a legit house but they converted it into a restaurant. They kept some of the features like a fireplace that give it a cozy/homey feel. It is such a cute and ingenious way to go about a restaurant business.
