This was my first time using a pick-up laundry service. The online process was very easy. We had our king size comforter cleaned since it's too big for our washing machine. With no time to wash it at the laundromat, we decided to give this a try. I was able to give instructions for washing it, and it was returned cleaner than we've ever been able to get it ourselves. Freshly Folded did great for the three weeks, then they delivered someone else bag of clothes with my name on it. I called next day they picked up the incorrect order and here it is two days later and they still haven't returned my order. I have called everyday and each time they say the owner will call you back. No call back. I am cancelling this service. customer service is poor. I haven't written a review in a while but I have to write one about this company. Literally every time I speak about Freshly Folded, it is to sing their praises. I am pregnant with twins and had been on the look-out for a laundry service. There were a couple of places in the area that would have allowed me to pick-up and drop-off, but as my mobility is restricted, that seemed a poor option. Enter the Google search that found Freshly Folded! The service is top notch, well-communicated, and fully customizable. I have a choice of how my socks are folded, ferchristsakes. This is my first time using a laundry service and I love it! I am absolutely delighted with the results - everything from the pick-up to the delivery has been great. The drivers are all cheerful and friendly and my laundry is beautifully washed and folded. They even provide a large laundry bag and large mesh bag as part of the Welcome package and return it with your clean, folded laundry. I recently moved from an apartment with a w/d in the unit to a place with a shared laundry room which I didn't want to use so I decided to give this a try and I'm so happy I did. I scheduled a one time pick up for this morning. I must have called the customer service line 7 times today with no answer through the morning and mid day. I had entered the wrong door code on the instructions and couldn't find an option to edit this so I was calling to give a heads up about the correct code. On my account page it said a driver was en route for a few hours. But I never received a notification via text or email of an eta or if anyone was even on their way. I took a shower and had one missed call. My account said missed pick up. I tried calling that number back twice and sent a few text messages but heard nothing back. I really want to use this service because see other people leaving great reviews but I worry about how unreliable the customer service seems to be and the fact that my card is on file with the service but I can't seem to get a hold of anyone who works here. read more

I am so glad I found this place when the washer in our complex broke. I am never going back to spending all day doing laundry with just one machine. I love the pick up and delivery, all the options of what kind of soap to how you want things folded or hung. I highly recommend this alternative to spending hours doing your laundry. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! Having had a hip replacement I had them pick up a few loads of laundry, when delivered they were clean but no use of fabric softener was ever used (Requested Downy) I know because having done my own laundry it feels and smellls great. I then had them WASH and IRON several items and requested fabric softener with wash. I could not believe what I got back, every item that I had ironed looked like a 5 year old did it and NO medium starch was used whatsoever. Wrinkled and no smell of really being cleaned, there was even a stain that was on a shirt, used Spray and Wash and it came right out. Really people? I contacted them and sent pics of all items and was told they were sorry, would contact "QC" and they would re-do at no charge. Problem was I couldn't get the things together soon enough for them due to complications with my surgery, so they cancelled my "re-do", telling me basically I took too long to call for a pick-up. Then to add insult to injury (no pun intended) they also told me that they under charged me in error and I owed an additional $$$$! The nerve, first off the clothes were NOT laundered and not ironed, I told Nicole that I do not further authorize any charges to my debit card and will notify my bank. Now I know some of you are happy with their service, good for you, but there are several complaints about this company as well, torn dresses, inept ironing, etc. Use them at your own risk, they are pricey and do not even warrant "!" star from me. Oh and BTW "Steven" don't bother replying to my message as I am done with you guys! read more

The good people at Freshly Folded (especially our guy Juan) could not have been more efficient, more kind, more professional, or more understanding of our new circumstances. I used this service while traveling for work. I received only half my laundry back. It was a long business trip so I had to buy new clothing to last me a couple weeks. I spoke with the receptionist there. She apologized and said she would get to the bottom of my issue. Never called back. Just went home. I emailed them, and called them. She answered the email saying their driver didn't see the laundry I was talking about when they picked it up and they essentially just blamed my hotel. They clearly mixed up my laundry and gave it to someone else. I probably had 70 dollars worth of clothing I didn't get back. I asked for a full refund and they stopped responding to my calls or emails. I had to dispute the charge to my bank and just move on. It made my business trip a little more stressful, but the fact that they refused to refund me 30 dollars after all the hassle and money I had to spend because of their mistake is unacceptable. Do not use this service. No one ever communicated to me that my hotel gave it to the wrong laundry service. Try answering your phone there and resolving the issue instead of ignoring my phone calls and emails. The fact that I had to receive a reply via yelp speaks volumes. You people have done nothing to rectify this issue and the hotel is saying you guys took it. Why would you guys be able to return half my laundry but not the other half? It was grouped together. You absolutely deserve a one star review for your poor customer service in response to this issue. If you had simply owned your mistake and refunded me my money I would have moved on. Your attitude in your response with the all caps words is even more infuriating. You people are 100% in t he wrong and you're getting mad at your one star review??? You should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

Good turnaround time, convenient, and they make your clothes smell good. The issue is they don't follow instructions very well. I requested a dry clean and press of some collared shirts and they came back extremely wrinkled and unwearable. And the dry cleaning is much more expensive compared to other similar services. Lastly, weak customer service. I'm going to continue using them for basic laundry needs, and going to use Pressed4Time for my fancier clothes. read more

I wanted so much to love this service. I don't know why I got a different experience than the other reviewers. Lots of errors which caused me trouble and inconvenience. I need this service to make laundry MORE convenient, not less. Curt response from customer service with no apology, no reason. Delivered against my specific request. Billing errors. Awful! Although I gave VERY explicit instructions, they shrunk all if my jeans. Also. EVERY pair of tights were ruined; the waist band on all of them was totally stretched out, they were sent with all waist bands fine. A lot if the folded clothes were pretty wrinkled. VERY disappointing read more
