I don't usually write a review. But I seriously really love 5 star. My clothes are always folded so nicely and they come back so clean and smelling so good. The drivers are so quick to respond to update me on when they are picking up my clothes. And almost most importantly, they always bring back all of my clothes. Nothing goes missing. I've tried HappyNest laundry pick up service before and they lost half of my clothes and ended up finding it the next day. They also don't know how to fold. Don't go to HappyNest. When it was just Dakota, I felt like I got great service, but now that there are many new people, I haven't had the same consistency... but they are still ok. It was wonderful to have someone else do my laundry after I let it stack up too long. I think some items would have been hung if I had provided hangers?the laundry dry was clean and odorless, maybe washed with a hypoallergenic detergent? It could have been organized better and put in smaller bags for easier lifting. The bags were tied in knots and difficult to open. Where I live now in a casita, I have no washer/dryer. There's no laundromat in my hood, and I didn't want to use one, anyway. I can't drop off, as I don't have a vehicle anymore. First time using this company and they were PHENOMENAL. My washer/dryer broke and I was in a dead panic with soaked clothing. I called, left a voicemail, and within 5 minutes I got a call back. They were at my place within 20 minutes to pick up the clothing. Got it two days later and clothes were meticulously folded and cleaned. As a complete side note the man who picked up the clothing and the woman that dropped them off were absolutely delightful, happy, and quick to answer any questions. I never use laundry services but after this I will absolutely be doing so particularly with them. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Dakota and his team have been life savers for my father for years now. In my fathers old age, it has become really hard for him to do his laundry. I found 5 Star Fluff and Fold on Yelp and it was a no brainer using them after reading their reviews. On multiple occasions, Dakota has gone out of his way to ensure top notch customer service to my father. Dakota picks up the laundry... he will literally come in the home, bag it, and carry it out for seniors. The clothes are returned the next day sometimes, bagged and carefully folded/organized. I can't speak more highly of the services 5 Star Fluff and Fold provide. If I could give zero stars I would, We (the urban shave barbershop) are a small business we do a lot of shaves and offer hair washing as well with every haircut service, so we use a lot of towels. We started using his (Dakota) services in December 2020 and started looking for a different alternative for laundry services almost 3 weeks ago, due to a multitude of reasons but the top reasons are as follows.... 1. Pick up and delivery was always inconsistent sometimes the towels would not even get picked up. We were wanting 3x a week but sometimes only got one! When asked what's going on It always seemed to be the drivers fault according to him. 2. Pricing inconsistency, he quoted a price per pound but was charging over the price quoted The math never made sense, we once got an invoice for $110 but the itemized info said $40 (head scratcher) several times we were double charged in the same day, time stamp on the charges were minutes apart, he would tell us he would make it right but never delivered on his word. And Now, we've been charged for services Even though we are no longer using his services we have been charged 3x in the last three weeks and sent a message last week informing him that he does not have permission to charge the card he has on file & that we will be filing a dispute with our bank. We never got a response not even an apology, and I'm now writing this review because he just charged us again yesterday! So not only was he scamming us on charges while using g his services now he's just plain stealing from us! 3. When we started to pint out the inconsistency and the pricing errors, he send a text saying that he would no longer be able to provide us services. This business has a complete Lack of integrity, has made fraudulent charges to our company card, and over all is an inconsistent and unreliable business! In conclusion, buyer beware! I've used 5 star fluff and fold throughout the pandemic at the beginning of 2020 and would've continued if I wasn't moving out of state. They're always going out their way to give me a great service. Even when it was raining when they were doing a drop off they wrapped the bags so my clothes wouldn't get wet since I wasn't home. Helped me multiple times making sure my navy uniform would be clean and ready for work when I needed it quickly. Always super careful with my 2 toddler daughters princess dresses and as a single mom took a huge load off my shoulders for me to not have to worry about laundry being done. This review has been a long time coming! I finally have a moment to gather my thoughts and tell everyone all about how Dakota, and their delivery driver, did our dog rescue dirty! We had originally paid for Washboard Laundry to clean our linens and blankets at my workplace. When they went out of business, we found it difficult to find specialty services in our area until we came across these folks. 5 Star Fluff and Fold serviced us from March 2019 until March 2020, when I suddenly and unexpectedly received this basic and unprofessional email: "Hey I want to let you know that we will not be able to pickup your order in the future... I wish we could continue... Best of luck... DAKOTA" We were due for service the next day and had pounds of laundry ready to be cleaned. I had asked why there was such short notice and never received a response. While we never had an issue with the quality of cleaning that our laundry received, the frequent customer service blips, consistent tardiness of the laundry pick-up driver (including rescheduling issues), made this company a pain to deal with. Finding a business willing to take in dog laundry are few and far between, so we felt stuck in a rut. The kid they hired as their delivery driver remained the same during the year of service. He started out looking and acting professional, and gradually became more and more inconsistent, with his appearance becoming ragged and gaunt. Hopefully he gets help for whatever he has going on in his life. It got to the point where the driver was many hours late on a consistent basis, and not even the owner knew where he was when I would ask if we were going to even get serviced that day or not. Other times, to avoid me involving the owner, the delivery driver would call ahead just to say that he was going to be late. He would make it a point to specifically ask that I not contact the owner, which I disregarded as he wouldn't always call and is certainly not the business owner. Many times he would ask if we even needed laundry services that week. There were a few occasions where I had contacted them ahead of time if we wanted to skip a week, but I imagine he was asking in hopes that I would say "yes". He had begun to ask so frequently that I would tell him "If I didn't call to cancel, then yes, we need laundry today." Regardless, these phone calls continued like a broken record with him eventually saying he couldn't make it and would need to reschedule for the next week. This terrible service continued on until Dakota abruptly shut us out of doing business with them, as mentioned in their email above. With no other specialized laundry services to turn to, this series of events caused us to build and install a laundry room so we could do our own laundry in-house. Things have never felt more optimal! They put on a great public front when they want your business, and then everything falls apart. For basic laundry service needs, places like this are a dime a dozen. Please choose wisely, folks! read more

I was able to request a quote and book a pick Wednesday afternoon and my clothes were picked up and returned same day with the same day option. They even offered contactless drop off and pick up for COVID. Dakota was so professional and excellent at communicating.
