Freshway Services of Dallas (in Garland, TX) cleaned my carpet (5 rooms plus hallway) last week. On my original call-in, they were very helpful and answered all my questions and it was easy to pay for (purchased through Groupon). They called me the day before to confirm they would be there at the appointed time, then called again the morning of to tell me they were on the way. The technician that did my carpets was Daryle Judie-he was on time, very nice, very efficient, clean-cut, very experienced, and did a thorough/great job!! I was very/completely satisfied!! I scheduled a carpet cleaning service with Freshway Service through Groupon after speaking with the company by phone. My appointment was scheduled for between 9 AM and 11 AM. Unfortunately, no one ever showed up for the appointment. Around 10:30 am, I started calling the company because I noticed that my Groupon coupon had already been redeemed, even though no service had been provided. After leaving several messages, I finally reached someone around 1 PM. At first, the representative asked how the service went, and I had to explain that I was still waiting for someone to arrive. I was later told that the technician had supposedly been involved in a car accident on the way to my home. While I understand emergencies can happen, what was frustrating was the lack of communication. No one contacted me to inform me about the delay or cancellation, and my coupon had already been redeemed without my authorization. I was told this was done to "activate the work order." Since I was unsure when I would next be available, I requested a refund instead of rescheduling. I was told the refund would take up to 10 business days, but despite following up multiple times, the issue still has not been resolved. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to the poor communication, failure to provide the scheduled service, and delays in resolving the refund request. read more

Well as I have had 2 services from this company, the first service was done exceptionally by Jaques, however when we called them back and got a different service guy, I believe his name was Steve/Steven??, I felt that because he had gotten lost on his way to my house and was over an hour late after getting to my home that he was rushed and then when I stated that I wasn't happy with the cleaning of my rug; I was then berated and told that my rug changes colors??? Uhhh when Jaques came before my rug was white and didn't "change colors"??? Very very disappointed with the second cleaning and especially with it costing me over $200 for 1bedroom and a rug!!! read more

This company is a scam. Please don't waste your time or precious money with them. Purchased a Groupon for carpet cleaning and tried repeatedly to schedule services. Called multiple times, left voicemail mails and also emailed them via their website. No response. If you're looking into carpet cleaning, move on and choose a different company because no one will call you back. read more

Do you want your carpets to look cleaner? Don't bother. Are you hoping to have your carpet disinfected? Don't bother. Moving into a new home and due with baby in one month, so I figured it was a worthy investment to clean the carpets before move-in. The first thing our guy, Jacque, said when looking at the darker, high-traffic areas was, 'those spots are not going to come out,' claiming that the carpets, installed in 2011, were 'at least 15 years old'. He also recommended that we have the carpets disinfected because baby was coming....a professional cleaning doesn't disinfect the carpets?! He did use a fancy machine at one point that worked circles on the carpet. When asked if that was to pick up the dirt, he said, 'no, that was what the vacuum was for'. We paid an extra $40.00 for the disinfecting, which he said was a great deal instead of the typical $25/room charge, but it was nothing more than a carpet spray. Might as well have grabbed a vacuum and a can of Lysol or a bottle of vinegar and cleaned the carpets myself! The carpets are fluffed (raked) but otherwise look exactly the same. If you want to see results, just go somewhere else! read more

Extremely impressed with the carpet treatment product, scrubbing/lifting dirt technique and customer service. Upon introductions, I learned the square footage of the rooms amounted to four rooms. If I could give zero stars, I would. I scheduled a carpet cleaning two days in advance. They promised me a time window of 3-5pm. I took the afternoon off of work to be there. They didn't show up or call. I called them three times and left messages and never received a return phone call. I wouldn't waste my time with them. read more

Do you want your carpets to look cleaner? Don't bother calling these guys. Are you hoping to get the stains out of your carpet? These guys could not get out a small stain on my carpet. I figured it was a worthy investment to clean the carpets before we put the house on the market but this company was a waste of money. The cleaner was put out with a spray bottle.He did use a fancy machine at one point that worked circles on the carpet. It did not suck out any of the dirt from the carpet, the machine had a mop pad at the bottom. You used your vacuum cleaner before they arrive to get out the dirt. I'm not sure what the other person was talking about but my carpet looks fantastic and it smells super fresh in my home. I have had several companies come in and no one has left my home looking and smelling like this. Trust me, I am very critical of the services I receive due to my bad results from previous companies and I must say I am impressed. I will be back. Perhaps the other person needed new carpet to begin with. Stains that are several years old or even new stains sometimes do not come out.... I'm just saying. However, mines did.
