I called TLC and they answered right away. They set up service on the day I requested and they arrived on time. The service was outstanding. We just moved into a townhouse and wanted the carpets cleaned. They looked good, but had some wear. The tech did a great job. They use an emulsifier to left the dirt and it is then vacuumed up by the steam cleaner. In one closet, he put down the emulsifier and immediately a horrible smell came up. He pulled back the carpet and discovered a beach ball sized old blood and animal decomposition stain under the carpet, probably a cat died and decomposed there. The animal was gone but the contaminated floorboard, padding and carpet were ruined. We couldn't tell there was an issue until the tech discovered it. He cut out the carpet in that closet and we are having him return to install a new patch and pad and disinfect the whole area. Amazing outstanding service. Well worth the amount paid. read more

I swear I almost had a heart attack when I discovered that my large red pillar candle had melted down into my beige carpet. It was the result of another company doing some work in my house but I'll save that story for a different review. Anyhow, I called TLC and they were able to send someone out just 2 days later. Tim, the carpet technician, came and gave us his expert opinion, which was that there was no hope of removing the stain since it was so bad. He then went right to work swapping out the stained area of carpet for a clean piece. His repair work is so seamless that you would never know of the catastrophe that befell my carpet just days before. He did say that he had 30 years of experience and it showed. The guy that cleaned our the carpet in our master bedroom spent less than 15 minutes here. When the carpet dried I noticed that the stains that I pointed out to him prior to him starting the job were still there. I contacted TLC & was told the stains /darker discoloration was carpet damage due to scrubbing the fibers (based off of a photo they requested). They didn't offer to come back out to look or reclean. AFast forward a few months, we just had our carpets re-cleaned & we were told that the excuse TLC gave us was a lie. Our carpets are clean now, spots are gone, I just wish I hadn't paid the 1st guy with cash or I would have disputed the charge after the first guy left. Lesson learned. read more

Less than thrilled. Person showed up in a T-shirt and said he was here to clean my 8x10 carpet. My dogs had peed on the carpet which led to me calling, and even after pet treatment, now that the chemical smell of the cleaning has subsided I still smell the dog pee on the rug. Additionally, without me knowing the tech backed his van up onto my yard. You can see the van has plenty of hose to do the cleaning, especially with the rug just feet from the front door, but for some reason he just felt that he didn't need to ask. You even called me back for a better connection, which was also lost a few seconds later and asked again to speak up. Yes, your technician did enter my property at least 10 feet inside my front door over carpet and wood flooring. You and your technician asked me to supply you with shoe covers to which I disagreed. You THEN asked to reschedule, never mentioned anything about shoe covers, to which I replied you have already burned your bridge, sorry. Every HVAC, plumber, electrician or other, immediately applies shoe covers as respect to the home owner. The fact that you guys refuse to provide your own and do so is telling.
