Loved this coffee shop!! I was recommended it by a handful of people, one who lives in Denver and hasn't even been before actually, but he worked at a coffee shop there and has a whole notebook of coffee shops to try around the world. This is when I decided I needed to go. FRGMT did not disappoint! The staff was knowledgeable on the beans they carry that I purchased for a gift, and they recommended an amazing latte! I love when coffee shops make their own flavors, and these guys do it up. I had a pistachio white chocolate latte that was just slightly sweetened and nutty. It was so smooth and creamy and not overdone on flavor. I loved it and will be back to try their unique mandarin one next. There also is tons of space to work, so I definitely will bring my computer next time as well! read more

Tons of seating in the back with a fireplace as the centerpiece. Typically a busy place with people coming and going for their daily cup of Joe. Well, the ambience of this pretty chill, replicating a good student/work vibe with some music on your back drop. You got conference room in case of a meeting, didn't try it but saw that space here. Our lattes were seasonal and they were pretty darn good. Slightly on a sweeter note wrt orange latte. Juniperus had hint of fruity flavor in it. read more

I'll start off by saying that this space is AMAZING. My main issue with coffee shops is that they're usually small, but there's plenty of seating here. The space is huge with high ceilings, so voices don't travel- a great spot to study or work. We ordered an iced matcha latte and a regular black coffee. The coffee was pretty good. The matcha latte wasn't very strong, but it was still okay. We ordered a chocolate croissant and blackeye donut to go with our drinks. The croissant was perfectly flaky and delicious. The donut was the perfect consistency and had a great coffee flavor (Cardigan Donuts doesn't disappoint!). I look forward to coming back and trying out another coffee drink! read more

What a cute space! Especially if you work from home.. great atmosphere to grab a coffee and get some work done. Cozy coffee date spot as well. The coffee is Yum and it's even better now that they have donuts only thing I didn't like at first was they fact they don't have caramel but the vanilla latte is super good so I'll keep my 5 stars! read more

I had a hell of a time finding FRGMNT. (Let alone figuring out how the hell to say it. Until I realized that it's cool to drop all your vowels.) It's inside a larger building (like the lobby of a company maybe?), and the (small) signage was buried among a list of other businesses. I kept walking up and down Washington Avenue in 10-degree terribleness like "The hell...!?" Finally I asked someone and she gave me the secret code. I though "Oh Great - this is one of those places that if you can't find it then you don't belong there anyway, dummy." I found it though. Because I'm perseverance. Bigly. Also someone told me exactly where it was. So that helped. I was a bit concerned about the layout. You Enter a large lobby and The coffee shop (more like a coffee bar) is right out in the open, and while the chair & table configuration options are good, I was concerned about the noise level for my meeting, given the large open space and potential foot traffic. However, none of that was an issue at 9am on a weekday. Anyway, here's the important part. The guy making my coffee? He was like an artist. Like he was really into the Creation of this drink. He took pride of coffee craftsmanship to a new level. He was in The Zone. So you gotta appreciate that. And bonus: the coffee was really good. So once you find it (if you're cool enough), count on a great cup of coffee and a slew of seating configs to meet your needs. read more

Did I not properly mention the good fortune of my familiarity with FGRMNT Coffee? Second time in Minneapolis, three time visitor to FRGMNT. The coffees are superb. Espresso drinks are served properly and promptly, and the Matcha late was a perfect afternoon treat. Loveeee how spacious FRGMNT is! :) It's a great place to go for a delicious, socially distanced coffee drink. They also allow dogs inside. I get an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and while spendy as coffee shops are, it's worth it for a treat. Friendly staff and appropriate precautions appear to be taken (distanced stickers, glass divider, masks, etc). Lots of seating options such as cozy chairs, sofas, regular chairs, high tops, outdoor seating. read more

A friend and I went here a couple weeks ago and I'm planning to go back soon! I love the atmosphere, especially the fireplace and artwork, and I love that they're dog-friendly. North loop is an incredibly spacious location and looks like a great place to go and get some work done. We went on a non-Cardigan Donut day but the croissant my friend got was tasty and our coffees were good. Overall: lovely atmosphere, tasty pastries, solid coffee. read more

My go-to study spot in NoLo! There are so many tables and has a great ambiance. Coffee, staff, and bakery are always great.

I've tried the vanilla latte, the dolce de leche latte, and I've also had a plain latte all with either oatmilk, almond or regular milk, iced or hot and each time the coffee misses. Not to mention the coffee is like 6 bucks or more each time. Also I've been going here for about a year now and for some reason I can't quite place why the coffee is just never that good. I'm not sure if it's their roast style but something has got to be changed. Despite how bad the coffee is, I keep coming back here to get work done because the open concept space is just incredible. I love that there are many places to sit. I've bought the coffee several times in an effort to intake some caffeine while sitting there but it's def not the best. Pls do something about the coffee bcus I keep coming back since the space is nice. read more

I've visited twice and both times been super impressed with how quickly they move through the drinks. There is always a line but the staff is very good at what they do and the wait is short! If you are looking for a good place to sit and get work done then get there early because the space fills up. read more

Did a curbside order of a 4 pack of iced oat milk lattes. Drove around different alleys to try to find they place. Definitely was a challenge. I parked in an alley hoping I followed the directions from their email correctly. Which I eventually ended up at the right place. I poured the lattes over ice at home. So fun. Loved the bottles they came in. Have never been inside the coffee shop, but it's on my list once it is safe to do so. read more

This is my favorite place in the Twin Cities. Every time I go, the baristas are very friendly and love to talk about coffee. I haven't gotten a drink there that I haven't loved. Just moved to Minneapolis and Jane been trying different shops. Been to about 7 other shops around the city and this has been the consistently best espresso and drip coffee. A lot of other places over extract like crazy but I have yet to have a bad shot pulled for me. read more
