I tried to eat dinner here while in the area on business. I would not recommend it. When I entered, I was told to sit wherever I wanted. That was the only greeting. I say at the bar. I sat there for almost 10 minutes and was never acknowledged by anyone. They served the other person that sat down after me, but not me. I don't know how the food is, as I never saw a menu or had anything to eat. But, from a service standpoint, I will never be back. I tried to get the bartenders attention, but to no luck. When you're bw3 starved in the middle of northern Ohio, Fricker's gets the job done. So I don't usually like to compare restaurants but just stepping in the door, they seem to be doing their best to ape buffalo wild wings. Even their sauce menu for the wings is similar....but don't let this discourage you. For the area, it's probably your most solid choice for a good dinner with some wings. As far as food, we started off with the bbq pulled pork nachos which were really good! Great idea and very tasty. For the wings, I just went with the medium sauce, which was spicy although not quite as spicy as I was expecting. One issue with their wings is that they tasted kinda overly salty, not sure if its the batter or sauce or what. Also, they went pretty light on the sauce. However, you definitely get a bit more meat on those wings than you'd get at bw3 so good stuff... Anyway, I contemplated going here a second night of my three night stint in Fremont because despite the tacky looking outside, it's a solid bw3 clone on the inside. read more

Best example yet why Yelp needs a 'zero stars' option. Terrible, terrible service- restaurant was nearly empty and we waited nearly an hour for our food. An hour in an empty restaurant at 2:30 in the afternoon. HERE IS THE WORST PART: bottom hamburger bun was completely mold. GREEN MOLD. They comped the burger but come on. Moldy food is zero stars. SAD SAD SAD!!! been into MANY different Frickers over the years, stopped into this one for a bite before the Race. Simple order, 20 Wings and a order of fries. The place was "busy" but not full, watched 2 tables order AFTER us and receiver their much larger orders BEFORE us. At the 45 minute mark our waitress said they were JUST in the process of preparing our order and we would get a 10% discount. The Manager walked past out table at least 4 times and said nothing, at that point, I told the waitress not to bother as we got up and left. We gave the girl a $4 tip and wrote the final amount on both the customer copy and the waitress copy-- $43.16. I still have our copy. Absolutely the worst waitress possible. I was part of a group of twenty. The waitress refused to divide the orders and said it would be easier to divide up after the meal. It took near 40 minutes after the meal to straighten out the individual tabs. Very frustrating. At then end we were all huddled around the computer screen picking what we had for lunch. Funny thing is the day before we ate at their competitor directly across the street. She didn't divide the bills ahead of time either but was able to split the ticket in about 1 minute. Sad part is the food was ok. The delivery time from the kitchen was a bit slow but acceptable. I spoke to the manager on the way out and he offered discount coupons for the next visit. I told him that if this visit wasn't discounted that there would.be no next visit or if he could give discounts for their competition across the street that would be nice. I ordered the beef and bird. The steak was the medium that I ordered, but the naked chicken chunks were so dry and tough that I could barely chew it. The steak had good flavor but that too was about the toughest piece of meat I've ever had. The only good part of my meal was the $18 I won playing Keno. As soon as we walked into Fricker's, there were two hostesses that were doing nothing. One looked at us and told us to sit anywhere. Not sure why they were even there. Could have put a sign up and saved two salaries. Food was not good. Wings were greasy and had no sauce. Had to pay extra for a side of sauce. Fried pickles were pretty gross. My husband said his burger was no better than McDonalds and he hates McDonalds. Burrito was loaded with onions and the meat looked like fancy feast. Really "Frickin" Awful- Sorry going to leave no stars.. just left (9/6/20) we got there at 5:30 and left 7:45... service sucked, food cold, no refills. Our waitress never came around once we got our food almost 2 hours after ordering it was ice cold. Our fries you couldn't even bend due to how cold, was missing parts of our order. The manager was brand new and did take some food off our bill so that was nice but sadly we will never return to them.. and paying the bill was even a nightmare, again no waitress to take the bill like normal- went to pay at counter and got yelled at by a worker who was just sitting at a table not working.. the app's we ordered was the only hot food but it also took almost an hour to get. Also they ran out of ketchup and had to find more meaning packets which took 15mins plus to find... also the sun shades no one we mean no one knew how to shut we asked 5 people and after the sixth person they got them shut for us. Frickers in Fremont is frickin gross. Dirty, food was not worth the money at all. Bathrooms were a mess, doubt they'd been cleaned on a couple of days. The bun on my chicken sandwich was soggy and dripping, got charged for our kids meal and my husband is still trying to hold down his wrap. Waitress was inattentive on a slow Sunday evening. When we left the cook was out back laying on the ground behind the building, underwear hanging out and barefoot smoking with the rest of the kitchen staff. Besides we wouldn't go back anyways because they have a no guns sign. AKA criminal empowerment zone. read more

Every time we stop here the service is horrible. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted at our table. Our order was taken promptly but then it was an hour wait for the food to come out. Then 1 order was incorrect. That was sent back and then another 15 minute wait for the chicken to be cooked. Then the refired plate was sent out with the same fries as the 1st plate. Then to top it off the 2 chicken chunks that were correct was served cold. No compensation and no manager even attempted to apologize. We stopped Saturday night traveling back home from out of town. The waitress was great. The food was great. All 4 of us had great food. My husband ordered the porterhouse..it was excellent. I had steak & chicken (the chicken was excellent). Kids had chicken and sliders and brew city fries with a bowl of ranch..all excellent. Ugh, I cannot stand this place! I've made a complaint about this resturant. I waited an hour and 45 minutes just for chicken wings. The manager just sat there with a table of 4 and talked the whole time. The waitress sat at a empty table on her phone until she went to go get the food. She came back with the food and my friend and I were not proud. We both got Chicken Wings, both BBQ, and when we got our plates, we barely even ate it. Because my chicken wings had no sauce, and my friends wings had so much sauce it was drooping off the plate. I didn't even leave a tip because I was so angry at them. I have visited this place a few times in the last month. Twice with a friend and once with my family. The food is good and they have good prices. My only complaint is the service. If you don't care about getting refills on your beverage or you enjoy watching your waitress stand in the corner and chat with the other waitresses instead of providing service, this is the place for you. I have been there three times, hoping that each time it might get better, but it never has. Be prepared to wait at least forty five minutes for your food after you order. The first time I ate there, I didn't even eat there. That is, by the time they brought the food, we had to box it and leave because we had to return to work. Over an hour wait. Prices on drinks can be misleading. A "special" on domestic beers may not apply if you don't order Miller Lite. The wings are small, not very tasty, and you are limited on the flavors you can order. You have to order ten wings all of the same sauce. Okay, I know how wings are made: You fry them and shake them in a Tupperware container of sauce. Is it too much to ask to have 5 BBQ and 5 teriyaki? Oh, no, we can't do that. Not very accommodating. And then you have to pay extra if it's their sizzling hot wings, which are dry and not all that spicy, and extra for celery and bleu cheese which are usually included at other restaurants. My friend also brought a coupon, but of coarse it was exempt because of the other specials offered that day. Slow service. Below average food. A loud environment. Misleading pricing. Nonaccomadating. Slightly better than average. I have been here more than 20 times and the bill is always wrong as they add an adult drink to the bill but serve the kids the smaller portion drink. It must be standard operating procedures for them. If you go, check your bill. The wings are good but seem smaller than normal as I haven't been here for several months. Customer service is average.
