We came during peak dinner hours and waited ~20 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad. The place isn't too large, and given how good the food is, I can see why there could be a wait. We decided on the jalapeno poppers (June special), onion rings, lemon pepper wings, and two burgers with fries (BBQ ranch jalapeno burger - June special, Hot N' Spicy burger) all to share. Plenty of food for 2 adults and 2 kids to share! We all agreed everything was delicious. The poppers come out super hot, so definitely wait a little to bite into them. Onion rings perfectly cooked and crispy. Wings were plump and had good lemon flavor to them. Both burgers were juicy, but of the two enjoyed the Hot N' Spicy more. Service is friendly and attentive. Stopped here after an eventful day at Cedar Point. It was one of the few places open later on a Sunday. We were visiting from Seattle and our waitress was super friendly. She let us know what they were known for (wings and burgers and their rotating specials) and gave my indecisive mind plenty of time to figure out what I wanted. Everything sounded so good! We settled for the golden bbq wings and classic pretzel bites for appetizers. The wings were great and that sauce was delicious! Wish we could find something similar in Seattle. The pretzel bites were good but we were already getting full. He got the Uncle Charlie burger which he liked but said it was a bit messy. He also said the maple sauce on it was unique and a little overpowering. I built my own burger and kept it simple with mayo, lettuce, grilled onions and cheddar. It was really good but I wish I didn't get so full on appetizers so I could finish it. I really liked the pickles that they served as a garnish. A little sweet and spicy action going on. Also the fries are hot and crispy and some of my favorite I've had anywhere. I wish this gem was in Seattle. It seems like a great place to grab a seat at the bar and watch sports on their televisions. They also have some tables available if you want to sit there too. I also liked that one of the tv's showed pictures of their specials. I wish I could go back and try some of their other items. Wow!!!! This place was AWEESOME!!!! Needed somewhere to meet in the middle and this was perfect. The BURGERS AND WINGS!!! Get them!!!!! The hot garlic parm sauce is house made and was DELISH! And the wings were generously generously coated with sauce. Service was awesome - our waitress even let us try out some of the wing sauces before making a decision which was so kind of her and she sold us on getting wings! The wings were crispy yet not dry or soggy, perfect. And the ranch and blue cheese were so so good. The burgers are a showstopper - they ask you how you want them cooked and they deliver on it. I got the uncle Charlie with the maple aioli on the side and wow it was huge and delish. The bourbon burger was more simple but blasting with flavor as that sweet bourbon sauce was so good. The onion rings and fries are also amazing and make you want to order all the sides on the menu. They have great specials and burgers for the month, I wish I didn't live about an hour from here or I would go and try just about anything as everything sounded good and looked amazing coming out to other tables. We love, love, love our Main Street Tavern . . .! It's great to pop up and visit all the "K's" -- Kylie; Kyla; Kelly . . . as well as Lisa and D-Rock (Derek)! They will smile, make sure you're happy, and deliver your food just as quickly as the kitchen wizards can get it up to the window. We've been coming here for years, and never leave hungry or unhappy. Great place to watch a big game, or just hang out . . . classic, American bar. First, the specials can really be off the chain, so be sure to check those out. I often find myself wanting to stop by on the first of the month, just to find out what creations Jamie has come up with for the month. Wings are great; burgers are amazing; I wish they had a fresh cut fry, or a dedicated gluten-free fryer, but I understand the limitations with both of those things. After a day of exploring the area we stopped in for burgers and while they had other items on the menu we had heard that the burgers were great. And they were! We had a couple of their fine ground rounds: I had a Doc Holiday and my wife had a Fuzz Burger. Both came in pretzel buns that were toasted to perfection on the grill. They came with some amazing sweet pickles on top and a healthy portion of French Fries. I really dislike when the fries come greasy. These were just right. Crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The bar ambience was heightened by a solid classic rock playlist. It seems to me that Bob Seger and Led Zeppelin are sonic requirements for most bars but this joint went with deep cuts rather than the usual 'hits.' A fact that I appreciate! Service was attentive without being overwhelming and they were generous with the beer pours and let me sample a few to decide what I wanted. When we are in Huron, this will be our bar. read more

This spot can kiss my entire ass. Especially the owner. Went in with some friends. They all ordered, then it was my turn. I ordered wings, a beer, and a burger. What would have ended up being about forty bucks worth of food just for myself. The burger I wanted was served on a pretzel bun. I wasn't feeling a pretzel bun so I asked for a regular brioche bun instead. My server politely informed me that the kitchen probably wouldn't do it because they don't do substitutions, but said she would ask. She came back a few minutes later and told me that the kitchen wouldn't do it, because it was the owner's policy. I cancelled my entire order and watched my friends eat while we chatted. The fact that they won't swap out something as simple as a bun is ludicrous. I fully understand not doing substitutions when you go to a fine dining restaurant where an actual chef has constructed dishes based on balance, and classical techniques, wheee the food is supposed to be an experience. But this is a dive bar with shitty chairs and sticky tables. Not a Michelin star restaurant. The owner needs to pull his head out of his ass it's a burger and fries type of spot. So happy we went here because we ended up going back the next day as well! The staff is the highlight of this neighborhood tavern. SUCH AMAZING PEOPLE! They remembered us when we came back and treated us like regulars. They made fantastic drinks (try a bloody mary!) and took pride in their food. I really enjoyed their wings - both bone in and boneless. The Firehouse sauce was very interesting. Kind of tasted like Yum Yum sauce with a little heat. Very flavorful. This is a nice bar/restaurant that was even open on New Years Day. They have their own private parking lot on the side of the building. The bar is decent sized with a nice sized dining area. Being I wen on a holiday there was only one person working the floor, so they had double duty as the bartender and server/busser. He did not miss a beat. Service was pretty good and the food was on our table as soon as we placed our order. I only had time to read one FB post. They have televisions above the bar that you can catch sports on. They also have happy hour and wing special available. The food there is awesome. The wings are to die for. I also had the club sandwich which was equally delicious. I can't say the wrap or veggies were anything to go crazy about but it was good. The vegetables needed more seasoning or something because there was not much flavor. I don't mean they had no flavor but when eating a burger with applewood bacon you should distinctly taste the bacon. The Barbecue sauce on the Doc Holiday was barely present.
