Where to start we drove an hour and a half to try out this restaurant and oh my God it's full of flavor. It's worth to drive if you come to Winstar Casino it's right next to it. It is delicious. It is affordable the best presentation I've ever seen and believe me when I tell you this I know food. This is authentic Mexican food with a twist delicious worth every penny.

On a baseball trip from California. Made a pitstop to Frida's to have lunch in Oklahoma. Greeted from the friendly server. Sat inside although they do have a nice outdoor patio area. A lot of drinks to choose from but we ordered horchata. I ordered chile relleno and it came with a side of rice and handmade tortillas . It tasted authenticity homemade, sooooo delicious. My husband ordered a hurache and enjoyed it. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Stopped here on the way home into Texas. This place was awesome. Service provided by Andy was outstanding, we sampled their salsa and he took very good care of us. We had the street tacos on homemade tortillas. Chicken was grilled to perfection, carnitas were moist and tender, al Pastor was well seasoned. I had chile colorado. Both dinners were served with rice and beans. We sat outside in the patio with a nice breeze. Great spot!

Formerly known as Global Event Center, now called Lucas Oil Live, this venue is connected to the…read moreWinStar. I recently attended a Bryan Adams concert here, and the logistics were surprisingly easy to navigate. First of all, follow directions on Google Maps, and you are taken to the back side of the WinStar complex, and you avoid a lot of traffic. There is a parking garage which is adjacent to the event center which makes parking a breeze, and we avoided the rain. Parking was free. There is security to enter the venue, and you are only allowed a small "clutch" size bag. I had to return my purse to the car because although it wasn't very large, it was over the size limit. So be aware of that. Security went quickly and people were there to provide directions to your seat. We were in the upper section, but still our seats were good. The concert went off with only one small hitch (a short problem with the sound), and it was an enjoyable experience. Getting out of the venue, parking garage, and parking lot was simple. We faced no problems. We never even had to go through the casino area at all.

Lucas Oil Live. Tried to attend Los Tigre's Del Norte show…read moretonight. Getting there was easy. Parking right next to the venue. On my he outside, it looks great. Inside was nice as well. On the surface it seemed like we were in for a fun night. Problems started as soon as we walked in. First off, we were stopped by venue security before they even scanned our tickets because they had a problem with my wife's Fanny pack saying it was too large and we had to ask a different security guard to get permission for it. The bag is about 8" by 4" and clearly smaller than their sign for approved bags showed. Once deemed approved we went to scan our tickets and security was yelling at people telling them to hurry up. We went in about an hour before the show so they were maybe 4-6 other people going in at the same time. No crowd whatsoever. Fine. Go to the merch table and the ladies working there acted like they had no idea what they were doing. Took both of them to find the t shirt I wanted. There were 3 different designs. Finally we made our way to our seats through a sea of security guards and cops. I was literally worried about an ICE Raid since it was a Mexican band. After all that we got to our seats. Nice layout, looks like a great concert venue. All was good until the music started. Within 30 seconds of the band starting, I could tell there was an issue with the sound/mixing board. Everything was just off. Instruments all sounded out of sync and it never got better. Even the band was having a hard time. They are professionals and were trying to fight through it but they was all constantly messing with their in ear monitors and doing their best to provide a good show. I do not blame the band at all. They have been doing this for decades and I've seen them before recently and they were great. We made it almost an hour and had to leave because we just couldn't take it. I have been to hundreds of concerts over the years and this was the first time I have ever walked out of a show. Don't waste your money. If you want a good concert at a casino, go to Choctaw. That place is great and sound there is exceptional.

This place is an extension of the current business location here. I ordered red fish, mushroom…read morerisotto and it came with a salad of which was not properly dressed! The salad had too much oil and not enough balsamic vinegar! The mouth feel was quite oily and was not pleasant. The green beans were under seasoned and could have used more time to cook and salt. Although the fish was served on a cedar plank there was no Smokey flavor lent to the fish at all. So, the plank was just for presentation which I am not opposed to however if it is on the plate it should have emparted some flavor not just look impressive on a plate like parsley was in the 70's to French food. The service here was quick and too efficient! So efficient that the wait staff attempted to remove my leftovers before I had a chance to ask for a doggie bag to go! The new digs are lovely to look at and offers genuine charm to those who appreciate the white table cloth service! Those of us who are of the generations who take dining out so seriously. ( there has to a reason to leave home and eat some else's food). Pleasant eating everyone! Oh, listen people after I left the restaurant and while eating my leftovers I found a type of nut in my risotto! Very dangerous for those with a nut allergy! Luckily I am not. General manager or executive chef you may want to inform your guest that there may be nuts in the kitchen!
