Pork chops are by far the hardest meats to cook in my book... 10 seconds too long and it's dry. I heard great things and it did not disappoint! It was by far the best pork chop I've ever had (sorry Mamaw). We only went to Windstar for the food and it was worth the 35 minute drive for sure! This is my favorite restaurant at Winstar. They're always friendly and the food is great. We especially like to use our food bonus money here. We ordered the chicken fried steak with cowboy beans and had almost enough left to get a loaded baked potato to go along with it. We were there after the lunch crowd had left, so they weren't busy. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious. The steak was very tender and hadn't shrunk inside the breading. Sometimes that can be disappointing but not at all here. Just the right amount of gravy and a perfect 2 piece serving for sharing. The beans were done right, too. We came here for a late dinner after driving a while and stopping to explore the Winstar casino. The restaurant is actually inside the casino. We wanted something light and not a full on hearty meal. This place has it all. Their menu is very unique and very much a TX restaurant. I had never before in my life seen a "bologna sandwich" on a menu. They have everything from; soups, to salads, sandwiches, bbq and more! I ordered a Cesar salad (since it was so late in the evening) and it was absolutely delicious! The croutons were made of (sweet) corn bread which paired so well with the savory dressing. Their sweet tea was also delicious and to top it all off, service was great!!! While at the casino we got hungry. Last time we were here it was closed. We were greeted when we entered and seated quickly. The booth seats were not in the best of shape but table looked clean. Our waitress was very pleasant and happily answered all our questions. Got the loaded baked potato. It opens at 11am which was perfect because I don't like breakfast food much so it was like a late breakfast for my boyfriend, and I got to have the lunch food that I enjoy! We ordered two large beers! 25 oz. He had blue moon and I tried the Lucky 7 which is local. It's a super light beer. And 25 oz was only $5.50! We ordered the pork rinds for appetizer. They came out hot and sizzling and were very good! He had the blackened redfish. Fantastic seasoning and cooked perfectly!! I had the fried catfish with okra, and a side of salad. Catfish is lightly battered and cooked very well. Tastes great! The okra was awesome, but I might be biased because I enjoy okra a lot!! We had two filets of catfish which was plenty and enough to bring a whole filet home with us. Our server was so nice and fun! The place is large and needs a little renovation as there were holes in our leather booth seats and a water puddle near the bar which seemed like a small leak maybe? Or just a really large spill? Let me first say the server we had was very attentive refilled our drinks constantly and continued to check if we needed anything. She was a great server. I've been to downtown Oklahoma City location several times. Every time the food has been horrible. Food tastes old and it's never served hot. Last night as a group we went to Winstar in Thackerville location. I ordered baked potato loaded, the potato was so hard and cold, it didn't even soften the shredded cheese. Another person on our group said his baked potato was also cold. The manager came and got them, brought us new uncut potatoes. This time he brought the potato uncut and the loaded items in little plastic ramekins with about a teaspoon of sour cream, cheese & onion for an extra charge. I guess the manager was trying to blame the added items making the potato cold. The potato was cold and hard, before I put anything in it. How a Resturant can mess up a baked potato is beyond me. I was supper excited about buttermilk pie on the menu. 10 dollars a bit much for a slice of pie, but maybe it will be the best piece of pie I've ever eaten. When the pie was served, I was shocked at the poor looking piece of pie. The pie was approximately 1/2 thick that's including thick doughy crust. A teaspoon of blueberry sauce in a plastic ramekin and dollop of whipped cream. Every experience I've had at Toby Keith's Bar and Grill has been a disappointment with cold food and slow slow kitchen preparation. I feel it's totally a kitchen issue. We waited approximately 30 minutes for our food to arrive. My first suggestions would be cooking potatoes until soft, turn up warming drawer where potatoes are set for prepping, most importantly covering hot food from kitchen to table. We also sat at a table in the bar area for about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our existence. Again, the place is not that busy. i was pleasantly surprised with our dinner here after seeing all the bad reviews! the bacon ranch chicken sandwich was SO good - i could eat that 100 more times! My two stars are for the help and the cheesesteak that was really good. The bartenders were helpful and nice. My issue is why is this bar and grill lit up like a deli in an elementary school? I had to put on sun tan lotion. Whoever owns this place doesn't have a clue about ambiance. Get it right or it will never make it. Make the music a bit lowder as well. Steak was extremely bland, I don't even think it was seasoned. I was expecting to like this steakhouse but unfortunately, I can make a better steak at home. It also reminded me of a dive bar, not a nice steakhouse. Save your money and go somewhere else (sorry, but in thissssss economy, we need to be wiser!!). I was sick of fried food so I ended up ordering a country cobb salad. It wasn't terrible, just about what can expect. Huge portion, thickly layered with cold chopped bacon, warm pulled pork and a pile shredded cheese from a bag. Friendly service. The "ambience," if you want to call it that, was sh*t. There is no f'ing ambiance. The establishment is basically a giant hangar filled with industrial strength flood lights. This is probably what hydroponic plants feel like everyday. read more

Love their new supper special for $14.99 with entree and drink and salad (salads are always fresh and cold and tasty - great blue cheese dressing). Shacy was our server and she was amazing. Spoiled us terribly - she kept our drink refills coming constantly (and that's saying something for our group). Even though they were shorthanded she was super attentive and helpful. The place is large and accommodating. It was clean and most likely on the sports event could be lively. They do have screens. However, I did go a pretty slow day. I ordered the half rack ribs with broccoli, which came with a jalapeño cornbread. The bbq sauce was sweet but had a heat that crept on you. I normally don't Ike sweet, but this sauce was a winner for me. The steamed broccoli was so good and dipped in the house made ranch that was everything! The ribs themselves were well barbecued, the meat fell off the bone, and it was tender. I'm not a fan of fat, but thankfully, this rack hardly had any, which is always a plus in my books. The jalapeño so cornbread was creamy and buttery. I kind of wish it was a bit larger, but I will add that these are large plates for one person, so it kind of helps in the long run. You're going to have leftovers! The second entree ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The fries were pretty regular, nothing out of the ordinary. The burger was well made. The patty was large and had a good sear on it, I like my meat to be medium for burgers and the chef delivered. Went for another dinner here on 4/23/23 the place was not crowded but we chose to eat at the bar. The bar servers were not seen when we first sat down. They quickly arrived and gave us drinks very promptly. We gave our order and within just a few minutes my salad was delivered. It was amazing and could not have been any better. I ordered a sirloin steak med-rare and the temperature was okay, it was nice and pink but it was the toughest piece of meat I've ever eaten in my life. I could barely saw through it with a steak knife and I chewed and chewed and chewed but it was so tough I ended up spitting it out in my napkin. Definitely the best food we've had at Winstar so far. Love this restaurant in Oklahoma City, so knew it would be a good option. Food wasn't as great as the original location, but still tops the other restaurants here. The Buffalo chicken dip was average, salmon was cooked well but that delicious looking cream sauce on top is really just a tartar sauce, and the brisket tacos were plentiful! July 27th around 3:30pm was our first time dining here. The booths are huge. The atmosphere is cool. The hostess was friendly. Trinity & Tammy were excellent servers! The menu has a wide variety of choices with fairly reasonable prices. We ordered The Cowgirl Quencher and Country Comes to Town drinks. The first Country Comes to Town was actually made by a manager and unfortunately I had to send it back because he forgot to add the coconut rum. There was absolutely no coconut in this drink. (I love coconut and that was the reason I ordered the drink.) Trinity was great! She took it to the back for me, assured the other bartender that I wasn't a 'Karen' but that the drink didn't have any coconut rum in it. The bartender made the drink for me and it was excellent. I recommend keeping the manager out from behind the bar. He should stay in front of the bar And let the bartenders do the bartending. We ordered 2 appetizers, whole fried okra & Southern Shrimp Cargot. We had skipped breakfast & by this time we were quite hungry. Besides everything looked so good! (It didn't just LOOK good! It tasted good!) my sister ordered the Sirloin & Fried Shrimp. I ordered the Fried Shrimp. The shrimp were fried perfectly golden & crisp. The sirloin was cooked exactly how she wanted it. The food item that stole the show though was the Southern Shrimp Cargot. Each piece of shrimp was cooked perfectly & soaked in tons of flavor! I'm not ashamed to admit that we soaked up every drop of juice w the bread...lol Yummmmmy! For dessert we ordered cheesecake & the brownie sundae to go. They both made a yummy late night snack! I definitely recommend dining here. I'd come around 4-4:30 bc by 5pm on a weekday the restaurant was filling up & by the time we left (5:30ish) there was quite a line already. This place finally reopened back up a couple of months ago I believe and one of the few places we have not tried out at Winstar and El Fenix looks like it was closed as you can see the black construction walls up. We decided to use our comps to eat at this place since I accidentally threw away some of the coupons. It was not busy for a Sunday as we were able to get seated at 2:30pm. The prices were not too bad considering we are at a casino. I ordered the cheese steak sandwich with fries and my wife ordered the shrimp and grits. The food came out within 10 to 15 minutes which was very good. The food overall was good. The steak sandwich was great as well as the fries, but it maybe salty for some. The portion sizes are huge, can either share or save some for dinner, the Mac & cheese bites are okay if I had realized they aren't cheddar cheese I wouldn't have ordered them, the potato salad tasted like they added too much mustard either a recipe issue or human error. Revisit: our last experience was HORRIBLE, however this visit was a whole different experience. Let me start off by saying thank you to the manager Ashley who took extra care of us to make sure that this experience was nothing like the last one. We ordered a bunch of different things and I'll say that there were pros and cons. We ordered the bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato sandwich. We were told that they ran out of Texas toast so it would be served on a bun. The bun didn't seemed like it was warmed and took away from the sandwich. The nachos were "meh" - the chips are thin and there was way too much salsa which made the chips soggy very quickly. On the flip, the wings were good, the burger was good, and the ribs were delicious. The water was no where as bad as it was last time but the sweet tea tasted like it had been sitting for a day or three too long. read more

Was looking forward to a good meal and had heard good things. Nope ! Started off with the brisket loaded fries/mock nachos. It was a salt bomb with ice cold black beans and corn. Very disappointing .Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with a baked potato, potato had a black line of rot running through it. Yuck! And the steak tasted so over processed that the barley passable gravy could do nothing to save it. My dining companion had the pork chops and they where cooked perfectly and enough to share so it was not a total loss. The side of corn bread was also a miss.
