A typical local style "Chinese store" vibe, no frills kinda place. They do offer some limited indoor seating, & there is both street parking and a small parking lot for the business. It truly more of a to-go place like most similar places. Staff was friendly, service speed was Ok, I guess. We called about 15 mins in advance and still waited maybe another 10 mins. They did not appear too busy, but I was not in a rush. An odd thing I wasn't a fan of is your receipt is not itemized. It just said "Open Food" and gave the total. This restaurant was like no other Chinese restaurant in the area. I have been there several times now, I tend to order the Crab fried rice; seafood fried rice and the fried chicken gizzards. All be been outstanding, especially the fried rice because the crabmeat in both the crabmeat fried rice & seafood fried rice is not imitation crabmeat, it real crab and so delicious. Got takeout from here. Ordered and paid online. Food came out quick. I was nervous because they share the parking lot with a bakery and I parked at the bakery side. there are sign parking for bakery only. the nice lady gave me a the sweet and hot and tartar sauce bc I got fried shrimps. when I came out with the food. the bakery mudda sucka bakery was closed. so I rushed out for nuttin. We ordered the sesame chicken with white rice and a combo with fried wings, shrimp and pfr. true to the name the wings were still crispy when I got home and still hot. I think they either use corn or potato starch in their batter. the chicken were seasoned well which I liked. the pork fried rice was too salty for me but there were big chucks of pork with a lot veggies which I liked. some sweet and sour sauce or duck sauce would have helped the saltiness. the sesame chicken was not soupy like many Chinese places. They sesame chicken was dressed well with the sauce but there wasn't a soup of the sauce in the bottom. the jumbo shrimp were also of good quality. I definitely would come back for more. even though I know the technicals of starches for crispy fried chicken, I ain't frying chicken at home ever. to my surprise, my order came with 2 cans of soda! got the orange and the grape. The fried rice was great for what it was. It was not at the calibur of restaurants in Chinatown, but it was suitable for the fried chicken that it was served with. Only gripe was the wait. I'm kind of really sad that wonton noodle house closed down and this business replaced it. I guess business wasn't going well for them :/ 2. There weren't many Chinese food restaurant options 3. Chicken wings were kind of bland- lacked flavor. 4. Brown sauce in the chicken and shrimp and broccoli combo was clumped together. Way too thick. Wow! Came about this place from a car foodie on FB reels. Ordered the fried chx, house fried rice, house lo mein, onion rings, and fried gizzards. All so tasty! Gizzards on point and super crispy.
