I decided to have Bobby Wong's for lunch one day and overall it was a good experience. The funny thing is that in a conversation the day before my friends also had Bobby Wong's. So that helped me make the decision to order on Uber Eats. Perhaps next time I will go in person and do the pick up. I ordered the mild chicken and lo mein with Oreo cheesecake wontons. Overall, everything was pretty good. I would not recommend the Oreo cheesecake wontons as they were very hard. I would also add that the chicken was tasty, but I was expecting more crunch to the overall batter. The lo mein was tasty however it did need additional sodium, so I added some soy sauce and it tasted really good. I like the thicker noodles that they use for the lo mein that was really good! I ran into this business on Uber Eats one late night so I decided to give them a try. Immediately after making the order I realized that I may have made an error. I tried calling but no answer. Then I noticed that the store had closed on the app. I tried calling once more and they answered. They told me that they were indeed closed but recognized my number from the order. They were very helpful and explained that no error was made. I told them that I was a new customer and just wanted to give them a try. They were very appreciative and kind. As for the food, it wasn't what I was expecting. This was a pleasant surprise! A new twist on the dishes and flavors I've had in the past is the best way to explain. The portions were generous so I couldn't finish everything. We all know a dish tastes the most delicious late at night when you are starving. Lol. Bobby Wong's for the win. read more

I ran in for a quick lunch with Hubster and was delightfully astonished! While the place is smaller, the selection and taste of the food makers are up for it by far. We had the mild tofu bowl with crunchy brussel sprouts and veggie bao buns and fresh seasoned chips. Everything was yummy, and we look forward to oredering again soon. An area that alot to be desired is the lack of air conditioning. However the service was helpful and attentive. read more

I was so excited to try this restaurant! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and ordered with a nice young lady. I ordered the shrimp bao buns, the chicken soup, the shrimp lo mein, and the shrimp wonton with a drink. It took about 15 minutes. When I dug in, I really enjoyed the bao buns and the lo mein the most. The soup needed a little salt. All in all I had a good experience! read more

I heard about this place on IG and decided to check it out. I walked inside and one of the guys (maybe the manager because he wasn't wearing a uniform) just looked at me as I walked in. No "welcome to Bobby's", "Hey how are you today?" nothing. So I say I'm here to pick up an online order. He sends on of the employees to collect my order and then I leave. I will Never, Never, Never order from this restaurant again!!! Especially not through their app. They use Uber as their delivery service and they expected me to call Uber to resolve my delivery issues. I placed an order and the delivery person took my order and it took 4 hours and several calls back and forth just to get a refund. My favorite meal is the chicken and wok'd rice or the chicken and shrimp with wok'd rice. I haven't encountered any issues with my order. I would say that there needs to be a little customer service training for the staff because they aren't always pleasant. There's an area for you to sit and eat if you're not doing take out but it's not large. How good the parking is really depends on the day you go. read more

A hidden gem: Exceptional experience at Bobby Wong's Irvington. The food is nothing short of spectacular. Everything that I've had there so far has always been a hit. The service is impeccable. The young man that took my order was very knowledgeable about the menu and made really good recommendation. Timing was great. I thought I would be there for while waiting because it is a made to order restaurant, but with the fresh plants to look at and the good music to jam to, the wait did not seem bad at all. Lastly, you get quite a bang for your buck. The prices are so reasonable considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. I saw this place on instagram and wanted to try it. Called the number on the website twice and no one answered so I ordered online. Once I got to the store the customer service was very pleasant. Was in a rush so I only got the Crispy Creme Shrimp, terrible to say the least. I got about 5 or 6 decent sized shrimp doused in a watery sugar syrup. The sugar in the sauce was not cook down and still granulated. I felt like I was going to do into a diabetic coma if I kept eating so I just threw it away. I just left there, I had to go back and get the original shrimp, which I ordered on the phone, they gave me a chicken loimein I live in orange, so I had to drive there and pick it up. The food was too fried hard, the beef and chicken. It was dry, I didn't know what was going on. I was trying to support the black business.
